Beachfront holiday rental in Jamaica

Spent a day in Ocho Rios with my family of 6 visiting Dunn’s River falls, and needed a place to stay overnight as we had a flight to catch the next day in Mobay. I booked at a different air bnb in a different gated community that went really bad, as we entered that house it was taken over by ants that my 2 young sons freaked out about and refused to stay there. So I was left without a suitable accommodation at almost 6 pm at night when I searched and came across this listing hosted by Janet and luckily it was available. I booked and it was ready for me within 20 minutes. Janet was a great host, the place was modern, very big screen TVs in all the rooms, locks and keys for each rooms in case travelling with a group, garbage bins everywhere, good size private backyard for kiddies to play or private couple time, AC kicks in instantly with cold air, separate beach towels provided, access to laundry to wash and dry my beach stuff, comfy bed and linens, and as my kids said…. NO ants/bugs!!!

Lovely cabin, with all comforts. Pleasant location with access to the sea. Surrounding calm. Good communication with Patrick who gave us a contact to navigate the Black River. Thanks to him!

Our stay at Bridgettes loft was excellent. We felt at home immediately and everyone we met was really friendly. Her son was also very helpful about the area and full of great information. Everything you need for the perfect stay. A short walk to the main street and 7 mile beach right across the street. The peiple in the neighbourhood madw you feel like a local as well. We hope to return next year. Thank you Bridgette and Avi for a great stay and memorable vacation.

Really nice Villa. Beautiful ocean view. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of towels, pillows, and extra sheets and pillows if needed. The kitchen was furnished well enough to cook all the essentials. The house and bathrooms were very clean. The wifi worked great our entire stay. Communication with the host was easy, and the response was quick. There is AC in two of the main bedrooms. The third room and the rest of the house do not have AC, but there are ceiling fans in every room. It can,get pretty warm in the living room and kitchen, especially while cooking. The only thing I wish there was would have been either long chairs or beach chairs or hammocks to be able to lay in the sun or shade and enjoy the view and ocean breeze. You can swim in the bay if you are a swimmer as it can be kind of rough. Make sure to bring water shoes as it is all rocks and some are very sharp. There is no sand what so ever. The private beach is wonderful and located at a 3min drive.

We’ve stay all around the island and this is clearly at the top of our list of incredible stays. The cabin was spotless, and equipped with everything you need, they did a great job updating everything . It was so relaxing waking up to that view every morning and sitting on the porch watching the sunset. Thank you everyone for this incredible place to stay.

Christine's place had 3 bedrooms, 2 on the top floor and 1 on the ground floor. It had beautiful views of the bay and just seconds away from the beach! Christine was also very generous and friendly. We felt right at home at hers.

Everything was amazing! Cleveland and Janet are outstanding hosts, both very friendly and genuine people. Cleveland offers rides for a very reasonable fees and had great suggestions for things to do in the area. The area is gorgeous and as a solo female traveller I can’t recommend this area enough in terms of safety. The locals are chatty but always kind. This is totally beyond the hosts control but the area isn’t super quiet at night with bars playing music until around 11 to midnight and animals in the area, so if you’re a light sleeper I’d suggest earplugs :) overall it didn’t have a negative impact on my stay because it just felt like part of the flavour of the area. The value was amazing, the cabin is simple, clean, and beautiful, it’s a perfect spot for those looking to slow down and to get to know a beautiful part of Jamaica with a vibrant culture.

I had a great stay at Jason's place! The space was clean, private, and very welcoming—perfect for a comfortable and relaxing visit. Phillip was a great host: super responsive and friendly, making check-in and communication smooth and easy. I’d definitely recommend staying here and would book again in the future!

John place is always a wonderful time. It feels like home. The housing scheme is very calm and relaxing, the amenities such as the pool and lounging area are amazing. This is my first time where they had a commissary and THAT WAS A ADDED BONUS! They have the best ice cream!!!! John home is very spacious and very beautiful, if you are unable to book with him I would reconsider my travel dates simply so that I COULD book with him.

Absolute Paradise Found! We just returned from the most incredible vacation at the stunning Villa Sweet J in Negril, Jamaica, and I'm still reeling from the experience! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. The villa's breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, impeccably manicured gardens, sparkling pool, and the ocean set the tone for a week of pure relaxation and indulgence. The villa was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with every amenity imaginable. The location was ideal - right in front of a beautiful beach. Restaurants and attractions are within walking distance or a short drive to the "7 miles beach". Yet, the villa's secluded setting provided the ultimate retreat from the world. We spent the days lounging by the beach and enjoying the delicious meals prepared by the villa's talented chef (yes, you read that right!). The housekeeper, Celina, is more than a chef. She's a fantastic person. Rating: 6/5 (yes, it's that good)

Our group enjoyed our stay at Patrick's villa. It was clean and comfortable, tastefully furnished and had all the basic amenities. The chef Patrick recommended was also professional and prepared very tasty meals for our group. Patrick is a great host and was always accessible, responsive and accommodating. This villa was a great value. I highly recommend and will definitely stay again!

Keisha’s place was clean, cozy, and perfect for our quick trip to Jamaica. Her description met our expectations. Easy walk to restaurants and stores. Beach was beautiful and clean. We would recommend her place to anyone!

My family and I had an amazing time at this villa. Carla…your host definitely pays attention to details. She always responded in a timely manner…Everything you need it there. I found my linens and bathroom to be clean….Mark who is the Chef is an awesome cook and an amazing person. He was very accommodating, prepared us the best meals always very willing to help. He definitely made our trip home a great experience. Collett who is the Cleaning Lady was very pleasant and helpful. The only reason I can’t say more about Collett is because she was not there every day. She is called as needed. But Carla definitely has a great staff working for her. Do not hesitate to book this Villa. The only regret I had was my vacation ended too soon. Gem

Sharon has a great Airbnb villa in St Ann that sits beachfront inside an amenity filled community that looks and feels like it’s from a top travel magazine. She is very friendly and responsive making sure that her guests have a great overall experience. Michelle who works on Sharon’s team served as the house manager and chef during our stay and was fantastic at making us feel right at home and her home cooked meals were some of the best. Would highly recommend for any group or family looking to have a great tropical vacation in beautiful Jamaica!!

This was our first time traveling to Jamaica. Brenda was extremely helpful with directing us to where to rent a vehicle. She was extremely responsive when we had to check in earlier than expected without any hesitation. The location is beautiful, peaceful, private and a rock’s throw from the swimming pool and private beach. There was plenty of space for our family of four and long lasting hot water for showers. We are already planning our next trip back to Negril and we will book with Brenda again. Brenda, Thank you for hosting our family and making our vacation comfortable and memorable forever!

Our group had a fabulous stay at Sea Spray! The host and staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We hardly had to worry about anything — they took great care of us and allowed us to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Hidden Gem! Precious's Place is a hidden gem! A wonderful place to relax and enjoy with family. The house was extremely clean with adequate space , and had everything we needed. Precious was super responsive. A very quiet, peaceful place with TIGHT security. Close to Hellshire beach, walking distance to a Church and shopping centres. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. I definitely got value for my money! Thanks again Precious!

My family had a wonderful time atJohnson’s Crest. Jacqueline’s attention to details are impeccable. I especially loved the hand sanitizer station as you entered the house and the small labels on all the switches. This really saved us from turning on every thing to find the one we really needed 😜. The house was immaculate; it was very clean and the white linens and towels were perfect. Chef Lurline made us delicious Jamaican breakfast and dinner during our stay. We licked the platter at each meal and she made everything so tasty without being too spicy for my dad and daughter. She was also very attentive to my daughter’s tree nut and peanut allergies. Jacqueline suggested menus and having the groceries delivered before we arrived was a plus. We felt safe in the neighborhood. My kids biked and played tennis. The pool was under maintenance during our stay, but the beach was relaxing and we had it to ourselves. I only wish it had less seaweeds. Overall a lovely time and we will return

Joshua was a great host, from booking to check out. Answered my million and one questions very promptly.. We were a family of 8, 5 adults and 3 kids, and accommodations were satisfactory. We went with private chef for 2 breakfast mornings and one dinner…and let me tell you, Chef Keros is a 5 star chef! Peaceful and private. Would definitely book another stay!
