There are ample of treks in the area short and long, one of them is the famous rupin range trek. In summers, half a kilometer walk will take you to the rupin river for a swim, and in winters you will feel snow at you feet just outside the house. There is no market nearby just a local shop, all the basic amenities are available.

Raithal village is popular among seasoned trekkers as it's the base camp to Dayara Bugyal.
