Monthly Rentals in Ivanhoe

We were so pleased with the peace and quiet that surrounded this adorable cottage. We were met by two deer that bounced off into the woods beside the cottage. Everything was very clean. The beds were heavenly!! The most unexpected treat was watching the sunset sitting on the front porch each night. We will be back!! Thank you James!!

What a view, so private and secluded. Very cozy, we enjoyed our stay very much. If you are in Virginia and want a view and privacy this is the place!! Definitely coming back again soon. Excellent host.

This is a quaint converted farm house; from early century I'm guessing. The decor is nostalgic and the building is authentic. If you're looking to get away to a quiet area with all the little necessities of travel, this is a great place. You're only a few miles off the highway and there are no commercial enterprises nearby. It's very quiet and peaceful. It is adjacent to an old run down school house so the back view is not great but the spaciousness and grounds are very accommodating. The rooms and kitchen were all very well equipped and they provided the biggest basket I've ever seen of "things you may have forgotten" for travelers to use as needed.

We had an excellent stay in this cabin. It was quiet and private but still close to things we wanted to do. The little walking trail on the property was great. 10/10 would stay here again.
