What a lovely stay! The cottage's location right on Keuka Lake was absolutely perfect, offering amazing wildlife and lake activity. We truly appreciated the privacy and genuine homey feel – made us feel immediately comfortable. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway. We'd definitely stay again!

This is the kind of place you almost don't leave a review for because you don't want anyone else to stay there and take your space. It was peaceful. The stream sounds are awesome. It feels so homey and lived in. I loved my stay.

This location is beautiful! Right on the lake. Easy to go down the stairs to the water. Randall was an excellent host and very responsive. The home is lovely and well kept. We had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect! We used the canoe and kayaks and had a wonderful time on the lake. We would most definitely rent this again and we’ll keep it on our list! Highly recommend!

Peppermint Cottage was everything we hoped it would be! The scent of peppermint welcomed us upon our arrival. The fireplace and wide-plank floors created a perfect ambiance as we enjoyed the comfortable, cozy living room. The beds were comfy and the sheets crisp and clean. We enjoyed our stay so much that we hope to visit again someday.

Everything we needed was supplied and at our fingertips, without being overrun with “stuff.” Well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. The location was perfect to attend a wedding at Fountainbleu Inn (just a short walk to venue). Also, the location next to lake was wonderful. We had plenty of bedrooms with linens/towels and extras like trash bags, paper towels, toiletries, dish soap etc was very nice. The kitchen had what we needed to cook for 10+ people, except crock pot and griddle (which we brought from home). We enjoyed the hot tub and used the propane grill on the large deck. The owner stays close by and was in communication often.

We loved our stay! The house itself is nice, but we spent most of our time outside on the deck, in the hot tub, or on the lake. It was a little cold when we visited, but it was still nice to be able to use the paddle board/kayaks and explore the lake & I imagine it would be much better in the warmer months. There isn’t much of a town, which means limited options for food nearby, but it was definitely worth the limited options for the peace we felt there!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming, cozy and comfortable house on a quiet street. We so appreciated how well-stocked the bathrooms and kitchen were. The personalized front door code made getting in super easy, and easy to remember. Thanks for a great week!

we had a great vacation - my husband and 2 kids. we enjoyed the space and had everything we needed. we enjoyed being able to walk down to the lake. we sat on the deck, played games at the kitchen eat in counter. watched TV and relaxed/slept on extremely comfortable beds. it was a very quiet location even surrounded by other houses. it was close by to many of our trip highlights including the sandy bottom park, Naples pizza, red cat winery, lynnie lous ice cream and the Corning museum. would recommend this place to future families looking for a place to stay.

Jesse’s place was the perfect cozy-with-a-view getaway. Ideal location, relaxing, well-designed and stocked. Jesse was eager to offer suggestions and very responsive. Hope to visit again!

Unfortunately we didn’t get to stay for long, we just needed a place to stop for the night, but Michele’s place was so beautiful and cozy we will definitely be back if we’re visiting the area again

We were celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary and family graduations! This location was close to family, nostalgic in that we used to have family reunions on the lake, and very relaxing and comfortable. Aside from the unseasonably cold weather, it was nice to explore the town, enjoy delicious food and enjoy scenic sunsets on the lake! Would love to return with family in the future! Brian and Melissa were very responsive and we didn't have any issues!

Another great stay at this perfect home away from home. Nancy has thought of everything you and your pup will need for an incredibly comfortable vacation on the lake. There is a ton to do and explore in the surrounding area. Some of the highlights this year were the Geneva Lake trail, Grounded (cute cafe that allows dogs inside or out!), The Spotted Duck (amazing ice cream and they offer pup cups), Billsboro winery (chocolate truffle & wine pairing, also dog friendly), and Dean Lane Dining (no pets) in Dundee. And then there’s the magic of sunrise from Nancy’s deck and evenings just watching fish jumping, birds flying, and ducks swimming, all from the glider on the dock. Simple pleasures abound here.

We absolutely loved our stay- we did not want to leave! Beautiful view of the lake and the coziest space. We will definitely be back!

Nice cosy house extension, right next to waterfall, very comfy. Close to Ithaca commons (5 min drive), groceries, bakeries etc.

This cozy cabin was a great setting for a weekend retreat. There is a plenty of space outside to spend the day exploring, in addition to other hiking opportunities a short drive away. And at the end of the day, the comfy couch in front of the wood stove is exactly where we wanted to be. Thank you Ann for being so hospitable and friendly.

The Little House radiates charm, as do the hosts. The linens were so comfortable I made note of the brands. The yard has century old peonies and grape vines. Be sure to check out the cute downtown.

The location was perfect! It was private, quaint, and several amenities offered. Unfortunately, it rained while we were there most of our trip, but it didn’t keep us down. We hiked at Watkins Glen, went to several wineries/breweries, got a massage in town, ate at Graft (the duck was amazing!), had Solera, Scalehouse, went to the distillery, Corning Glass museum, antique shops. And when it was cloudy we kayaked and peddle boated. We also visited Painted Stables and I have to say that was our favorite, minus the time well spent in the lake house. What a beautiful location. We will be back!

The cottage is exactly as described and looked just like the pictures which is not always the case. We loved having coffee while listening to the birds and enjoying the view of the lake. On the days it rained it was a peaceful and quiet retreat to relax and read or watch a movie. Kevin gave us lots of great recommendations for restaurants, hiking, breweries, and wineries. We recommend Watkins Glen State Park for hiking and Grist Iron Brewing for food, music, and beer. Both Kevin and Stephanie were friendly and responsive to our needs. Our time on the lake was really special and we would stay at the cottage again.

We absolutely loved this cottage. It was quiet, serene, and cozy for a family gathering. We were very happy here and look forward to coming back.

What a wonderful retreat! As soon as we walked through the door we felt at home. The home has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. James thought of it all including some treats to welcome us! We went to the local farmer’s market and cooked a great dinner, kayaked, fished and swam in the lake. We didn’t have the best weather to have a campfire but we watched a movie on the huge tv instead. We would definitely stay here again, we loved it so much we didn’t want to leave! Delightful, quiet stay with everything that I needed. Beautiful setting and I enjoyed the dock and lake despite the weather. Don was very responsive to my questions and needs prior to the visit. It was wonderful to meet his brother and to hear a bit about the history of the property. Hope to stay again soon for a longer stay.
