This is your vacation suite on Cayuga Lake. Relax as you take in the view and listen to the water and wind. Watch the comings and goings of boats and birds. Swim in the lake or take a paddle! 5 min from Downtown Ithaca and on the wine trail.
“If you are looking for a beautiful getaway, this place is it! Not only is the space immaculate and clean, but the small touches (such as coffee, snacks, dock seating, and kayaks) made the stay much more memorable and special! The area has lots to do with state parks, wineries, downtown shops and eateries. Not only was the view breathtaking, but Jes was super kind, gave you privacy, recommendation, and was quick to respond if you needed anything! Our last day we drove 30 minutes over to Seneca Lake and ate on the lake/ went to Watkins’s Glen. We are definitely coming back!!!”
A beautiful 2 bedroom home in downtown Ithaca. Our house is perfectly located within walking distance to the Commons, a four-block pedestrian shopping area with over 100 unique shops, restaurants, street vendors & street entertainers. Coming to visit Cornell University or Ithaca College? Both are only a 7 minute drive away, or catch the bus from a stop right at the corner.
“We spent an enjoyable long weekend at David's place in Ithaca. Communication was great, the apartment was spotless and beautifully decorated. It is located close to everything and we loved Ithaca. The accommodations were so comfortable! Due to COVID19, we weren't able to visit with our daughters close up, but the garden patio was perfect for a socially distant conversation. We will be back!”
Convenient west end location in Ithaca. One parking spot for guest. This house is close to everything. The bedroom is comfortable and spacious. Hosts live upstairs and guests will have their privacy. We are between two roads leading out of Ithaca. The suite is located in the back of the house and there is a moderate amount of traffic noise at times from the back porch.
“I can't speak highly enough about this place. The room is very special. It is simple and homey and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The whole room as a nice feel to it. The windows face east so there is a nice view across the valley to Cornell from the bedroom windows. There is a cable television in the room and WiFi, with good and strong connectivity. The bathroom connects right to the bedroom and is spacious and well organized. The shower is big and the water was plenty hot when called for. The other portion of the space is a little 'kitchen' area. There is no cooking stove, but there is kettle for hot water, small refrigerator, microwave, sink, cabinet, etc. The hosts provide tea, coffee, scones, which was a very nice touch. There is heating stove in this area that warms up the whole basement. It hovered around 10 F at night when I was there, but I was warm and comfortable inside. There is private entrance to the space, and although the room connected to the house via a staircase, I felt I had complete privacy. The parking spot is great, and the home is very close to downtown Ithaca - even walkable if you are inclined. Yet, I did feel like I was away from everything when I was there. The house is located on Route 79 but it was very quiet, particularly at night. Joan and Nelson are very nice people and their goodness fills the house. Check-in and check-out were easy. I would definitely stay there again (I miss it in fact) and I recommend it.”
