Holiday rentals with lake access in Ispra

We spent a few magical days in Argegno as a group of four, and staying at this house was truly the highlight of our trip. The home is full of charm, beautifully spacious and comfortable – but nothing compares to that view. The giant panoramic window looking out over Lake Como is absolutely breathtaking. Every morning and evening we found ourselves just staring in awe – that view is something we’ll carry with us forever. The balcony was another favorite spot of ours – peaceful, private, and perfect for a coffee or glass of wine while soaking in the incredible scenery. Thomas and Mattia were wonderful hosts – friendly, communicative, and thoughtful. The town of Argegno itself is a gem – picturesque, relaxed, and ideally located for exploring the lake. The ferry port is just a short walk away, making day trips super easy. We absolutely loved our stay and would come in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for a special place with soul, comfort, and a view you’ll never forget – this is it.

Thank you Kristina for the lovely time we had at your place! It was exactly what we needed! This is a must-book. Kristina is a very friendly, proactive and involved host. The accomodation is fantastic. The salt water pool is kept squeeky clean by Kristina (every day she cleans it herself). The view from the pool is fantastic. We had our 11 month baby with us and Kristina provided all amenities we could wish for: quality cot, quality baby chair and some really nice toys! Although the house is a bit remote, there is a lot to do within a 15 minute drive. One of the cleanest lakes in Italy is a 10 minute walk from the house which is lovely as well.

The apartment is really nice and the location is perfect. A little complicated to reach, but the instructions we received were really clear and helpful, therefore we had no problem. The private garden is also really nice and the garage was perfect, because there aren’t any available parking spaces in the area. The apartment was clean and we found everything we needed for a couple of days stay. All in all, I would highly recommend the apartment.

We had a lovely time, Davide’s beautiful home was in the perfect location as you walked out of the door if you looked to your left the lake is in view and everywhere was extremely walkable. Everything was extremely clean and also was equipped with everything you may need. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone visiting the picturesque town of Arona.

Our Family of 5 (with teen/young adult children) had a wonderful stay. Great space for the five of us - comfortable beds, very clean, plenty of space in bedrooms, great water pressure, and fabulous jasmine, lemon, and olive tree filled patio/garden with beautiful views. Helpful recommendations from host for a boat tour, hikes, grocery store, bakery, and dining options (best to make dinner reservations each night.) Villa is about 25 minutes walk above Cernobbio and 10 minutes below Rovenna where you can walk the Sentee to Sort trail to Moltraiso. Great spot for our active family. We enjoyed being above the hustle & bustle, and were able to relax after a busy day of sightseeing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fiorella's house, which was perfectly located in a peaceful environment. Fiorella was really responsive and welcoming. The house is well adapted to a small family. We will definitely come back to Fiorella's house

The accommodation is impeccable, and super well located, we were 6 biker friends, we had the space, for everyone, the kitchen is very well equipped, two bathrooms for a group, it is very comfortable There is a car park right in front of the building the place is quiet and central, which allowed us to visit the region, the lakes, Our host was very friendly, welcomed us with kindness, despite our delay... we really recommend this place.

Very nice apartment - with fantastic views!

Cristina met us down the road and helped us bring our luggage up. She was very helpful and provided clear instruction for checking in. Cristina communicated quickly and was very kind to us throughout our stay. The location of the apartment overlooks Lake Maggiore and provides a beautiful view of Isola Bella. It is a 15 minute walk to the train station, about 20 minute walk through the gorgeous promenade by the lake shore and once you are in the city center if Stresa, you can try delicious traditional Piedmont dishes, purchase Piedmont cheeses and salami from Conad which is about 20 minute walk from the apartment. There is also a Carrefour store in the city center for quick shopping. Overall, the apartment’s location was excellent, the surroundings are gorgeous, the people of Stresa are very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend staying oh good at Cristina’s place for a sun-filled and relaxing getaway.

We had a great time with Andrea and Orsola and highly recommend staying there! The two are super attentive and have many good tips for the area. The accommodation is really very nice and both the house and the botanical garden are prepared with attention to the details. The location offers great opportunities for activities in the area and at the same time offers a lot of peace and quiet! Thanks for a great stay and the really great recommendations!

Well equipped space with stunning views. Close to nearby towns & villages.

We had a great stay at Ana’s place. The apartment was clean, comfortable and walking distance from everything we needed in Lugano. Ana was also a brilliant host and very responsive to our questions. Would definitely recommend!

Small accommodation, but everything you need is there. The garden has beautiful afternoon/evening sun and it is only 1 minute walk from the lake. There is a small beach, 2-3 restaurants and a bar. For the supermarket, you had to drive 5 minutes to Laveno. Christina was super sweet and helpful and provided us with great tips. Great stay! A single criticism: a second deck chair for the garden would be great! ;)

This place was perfect for our friend group’s trip! The location was perfect with gorgeous views and the hosts were extremely hospitable even giving us homemade baked goods as a parting gift.

We stayed in the accommodation for 1 week with 2 medium sized dogs. Beautiful fenced garden, however, not necessarily escape-proof, depending on the size and will of the dog. Great views, lots of hiking trails. Nice little place, about 30 minutes walk to the beach through the forest. Very nice hosts. The restaurant in the village was good with friendly service. Showering was a bit adventurous because of the step in the tub.

We were a group of 9 people and we had a lovely stay at this house by Lake Maggiore. The location is absolutely beautiful, with great views. The path to get there will have given us some chills but the garden is a real haven of peace, perfect for enjoying the calm and surrounding nature. Self check-in and self check-out will have given us a lot of flexibility, Stefano's instructions and his responsiveness were perfect. A big thank you for the warm welcome and all the small details in making our stay such a pleasant one.

The location of the cottage was as wonderful as the pictures suggest, you're far enough from the waters edge to have a sprawling view, and close enough that nothing interrupted the view. Cinzia was very responsive and helpful and the added touches (pastries/wine) were much appreciated. Nesso is beautiful little spot, it can get reasonably busy because of the waterfall and the road from Como to Bellagio is rarely quiet (although we couldn't hear it from the bungalow). Be prepared for some hilly steps though, we clocked up 110 floors of climbing one day (for info, the Twin Towers were also 110 floors!). We found and Cinzia recommended a wonderful restaurant called Il Briisa which we would go back to in a heartbeat. The food, wine, service and ambience were all spot on. Overall, fantastic, it was a surprise break for my wife's 40th birthday and it delivered perfectly.

Frederico's apartment is a little piece of paradise on earth. The view is amazing. They were super nice during our conversations and gave us great recommendations on what to visit in the area.

First of all, this location is absolutely outstanding. It is directly on the lake just south of town. The island is front and center and it is so peaceful and quiet. We loved lounging next to the lake in the afternoons, watching the ducks swim and the boats sail by. The “cottage” itself is compact but perfectly comfortable for 2-3 people. It is very bright and airy, although it would have been great to have screens on the sliding glass doors so we could have breezes at night. We had an unusual check in experience, which was mostly our own fault. We followed the check in directions online; we should have read the House Rules before check in! Because we didn’t, we ended up in the wrong house where the keys didn’t work, so we climbed in a window, only to subsequently learn that someone else lived there! So DO read the House Rules before arrival. Our only suggestion…the cottage is not as well stocked as other AirBnB’s where we have stayed. AirBnB should have a minimum level expect

The place on the beautiful property was very great. Especially the outdoor area was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The apartment is equipped with the basics and is really very full of decor and furniture. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and discreet. All in all a great place to stay on an amazing property!

This place is truly one of a kind. Simply the most exceptional place I have been to. Great restaurants nearby, directly accessible by boat. We just loved cruising around the lake with the small motor boat, it made everything feel more special. The place itself is unique, as only very few houses are available in Santa Margherita. Lots of birds to watch, but the icing on the cake was all the fireflies at night that sparkle in the dark, really magical. But above all, Mattia was the friendliest, most helpful host and made everything nice and comfortable for us.

It was like paradise! A huge garden, private beach - what more could you want... A trip to Orta by boat (a must!!!) The dog Mogli also liked it very much 😄
