Holiday rentals with lake access in Ispra

We spent a few magical days in Argegno as a group of four, and staying at this house was truly the highlight of our trip. The home is full of charm, beautifully spacious and comfortable – but nothing compares to that view. The giant panoramic window looking out over Lake Como is absolutely breathtaking. Every morning and evening we found ourselves just staring in awe – that view is something we’ll carry with us forever. The balcony was another favorite spot of ours – peaceful, private, and perfect for a coffee or glass of wine while soaking in the incredible scenery. Thomas and Mattia were wonderful hosts – friendly, communicative, and thoughtful. The town of Argegno itself is a gem – picturesque, relaxed, and ideally located for exploring the lake. The ferry port is just a short walk away, making day trips super easy. We absolutely loved our stay and would come in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for a special place with soul, comfort, and a view you’ll never forget – this is it.

Alloggio super carino, facilmente raggiungibile. L’host è stata chiara in ogni istruzione e sempre disponibile per eventuali chiarimenti.

Thank you Kristina for the lovely time we had at your place! It was exactly what we needed! This is a must-book. Kristina is a very friendly, proactive and involved host. The accomodation is fantastic. The salt water pool is kept squeeky clean by Kristina (every day she cleans it herself). The view from the pool is fantastic. We had our 11 month baby with us and Kristina provided all amenities we could wish for: quality cot, quality baby chair and some really nice toys! Although the house is a bit remote, there is a lot to do within a 15 minute drive. One of the cleanest lakes in Italy is a 10 minute walk from the house which is lovely as well.

The apartment is really nice and the location is perfect. A little complicated to reach, but the instructions we received were really clear and helpful, therefore we had no problem. The private garden is also really nice and the garage was perfect, because there aren’t any available parking spaces in the area. The apartment was clean and we found everything we needed for a couple of days stay. All in all, I would highly recommend the apartment.

We had a lovely time, Davide’s beautiful home was in the perfect location as you walked out of the door if you looked to your left the lake is in view and everywhere was extremely walkable. Everything was extremely clean and also was equipped with everything you may need. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone visiting the picturesque town of Arona.

Our Family of 5 (with teen/young adult children) had a wonderful stay. Great space for the five of us - comfortable beds, very clean, plenty of space in bedrooms, great water pressure, and fabulous jasmine, lemon, and olive tree filled patio/garden with beautiful views. Helpful recommendations from host for a boat tour, hikes, grocery store, bakery, and dining options (best to make dinner reservations each night.) Villa is about 25 minutes walk above Cernobbio and 10 minutes below Rovenna where you can walk the Sentee to Sort trail to Moltraiso. Great spot for our active family. We enjoyed being above the hustle & bustle, and were able to relax after a busy day of sightseeing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fiorella's house, which was perfectly located in a peaceful environment. Fiorella was really responsive and welcoming. The house is well adapted to a small family. We will definitely come back to Fiorella's house

Le logement est impeccable,et super bien situé ,nous étions 6 amis motards ,nous avons eu l'espace ,pour chacun,la cuisine est très bien équipée,deux salles de bains pour un groupe,c'est très confortable Il y a un parking juste devant l'immeuble l'endroit est calme et central,celanous a permis de visiter la région ,les lacs, Notre hôte, à été très sympathique, nous a accueilli avec gentillesse ,malgré notre retard... nous conseillons vraiment cet endroit.

Cristina met us down the road and helped us bring our luggage up. She was very helpful and provided clear instruction for checking in. Cristina communicated quickly and was very kind to us throughout our stay. The location of the apartment overlooks Lake Maggiore and provides a beautiful view of Isola Bella. It is a 15 minute walk to the train station, about 20 minute walk through the gorgeous promenade by the lake shore and once you are in the city center if Stresa, you can try delicious traditional Piedmont dishes, purchase Piedmont cheeses and salami from Conad which is about 20 minute walk from the apartment. There is also a Carrefour store in the city center for quick shopping. Overall, the apartment’s location was excellent, the surroundings are gorgeous, the people of Stresa are very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend staying oh good at Cristina’s place for a sun-filled and relaxing getaway.

Wir hatten eine super Zeit bei Andrea und Orsola und können den Aufenthalt dort wärmstens empfehlen! Die beiden sind super aufmerksam und haben viele gute Tipps für die Umgebung. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich sehr schön und sowohl das Haus als auch der botanische Garten sind mit Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet. Die Lage bietet super Möglichkeiten für Aktivitäten in der Umgebung und bietet zugleich viel Ruhe! Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt und die wirklich super Empfehlungen!

Séjour parfait. A proximité de Stresa et les dépars des bateaux pour les Iles Borromées, park villa Pallavicino. Une place de stationnement devant l'immeuble. Un balcon avec une vue magnifique sur le lac.

We had a great stay at Ana’s place. The apartment was clean, comfortable and walking distance from everything we needed in Lugano. Ana was also a brilliant host and very responsive to our questions. Would definitely recommend!

Kleine Unterkunft, aber alles da, was man braucht. Der Garten hat schöne Nachmittag/Abendsonne und es ist nur 1 Minute zu Fuß vom See. Dort gibt es einen kleinen Strand, 2-3 Restaurants und eine Bar. Für den Supermarkt musste man 5 min mit dem Auto nach Laveno fahren. Christina war super lieb und hilfreich und uns mit tollen Tipps versorgt. Toller Aufenthalt! Eine einzige Kritik: ein zweiter Liegestuhl für den Garten wäre toll! ;)

Спасибо большое Maria Elisabetta за гостеприимство! Апартаменты были чудесными, со своим выходом к озеру Комо. Elisabetta встретила нас, помогла припарковать автомобиль, у нас был свободный доступ к парковке для нашей машины, что в тех местах очень важно! Нас ждал прекрасный прием: фрукты, вода, кофе, молоко, конфеты и печенье, что было очень удобно, особенно утром. На наши вопросы Elisabetta отвечала очень быстро, во всем помогала, также нам помогли с багажом. Нам предоставили полотенца для пляжа и обувь для камней. Постельное белье и полотенца были чистейшими, кровати удобными. С балкона открывается невероятный вид на озеро. Когда мы уезжали, Elisabetta проводила нас, помогла с багажом, угостила детей вкусным и полезным печеньем, которое мы могли взять в дорогу. Спасибо большое, Elisabetta, с удовольствием вернемся еще!

Wir waren 1 Woche mit 2 mittelgroßen Hunden in der Unterkunft. Schöner umzäunter Garten allerdings nicht unbedingt ausbruchsicher, je nach Größe und Willen des Hundes. Tolle Aussicht, viele Wanderwege. Schöner kleiner Ort, ca. 30 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand durch den Wald. Sehr nette Gastgeber. Das Restaurant im Ort war gut mit freundlicher Bedienung. Duschen war wegen der Stufe in der Wanne etwas abenteuerlich.

Nous étions un groupe de 9 personnes et nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette maison au bord du lac Majeur. L’emplacement est absolument magnifique, avec une vue imprenable. Le chemin pour y accéder nous aura donné quelques frissons mais le jardin est un vrai havre de paix, parfait pour profiter du calme et de la nature environnante. L'arrivée autonome et le départ autonome nous aura donné beaucoup de flexibilité, les instructions de Stefano et sa réactivité était parfaites. Un grand merci pour l’accueil chaleureux et tous les petits détails qui ont rendu notre séjour si agréable.

The location of the cottage was as wonderful as the pictures suggest, you're far enough from the waters edge to have a sprawling view, and close enough that nothing interrupted the view. Cinzia was very responsive and helpful and the added touches (pastries/wine) were much appreciated. Nesso is beautiful little spot, it can get reasonably busy because of the waterfall and the road from Como to Bellagio is rarely quiet (although we couldn't hear it from the bungalow). Be prepared for some hilly steps though, we clocked up 110 floors of climbing one day (for info, the Twin Towers were also 110 floors!). We found and Cinzia recommended a wonderful restaurant called Il Briisa which we would go back to in a heartbeat. The food, wine, service and ambience were all spot on. Overall, fantastic, it was a surprise break for my wife's 40th birthday and it delivered perfectly.

L'appartement correspond aux photos et à la description, il est complet, il y a tout ce qu'il faut, le parking est un gros plus. La vue est époustouflante, on peut rester des heures à regarder le paysage, ça nous fait vite oublier les désagréments de la route (bcp de passage lors de notre venue et énormément de moto, prévoyez les bouchons d'oreilles si vous avez le sommeil léger). L'arrêt de bus, juste à côté, est très pratique pour aller à Bellagio, Nesso ou Côme (mais attention à bien choisir vos jours de déplacement pour éviter la foule). Merci pour ces quelques jours de déconnection.

First of all, this location is absolutely outstanding. It is directly on the lake just south of town. The island is front and center and it is so peaceful and quiet. We loved lounging next to the lake in the afternoons, watching the ducks swim and the boats sail by. The “cottage” itself is compact but perfectly comfortable for 2-3 people. It is very bright and airy, although it would have been great to have screens on the sliding glass doors so we could have breezes at night. We had an unusual check in experience, which was mostly our own fault. We followed the check in directions online; we should have read the House Rules before check in! Because we didn’t, we ended up in the wrong house where the keys didn’t work, so we climbed in a window, only to subsequently learn that someone else lived there! So DO read the House Rules before arrival. Our only suggestion…the cottage is not as well stocked as other AirBnB’s where we have stayed. AirBnB should have a minimum level expect

Die Unterkunft auf dem wunderschönen Grundstück war sehr toll. Besonders der Außenbereich war wunderschön und übertraf unsere Erwartungen. Die Wohnung ist mit den Basics ausgestattet und ist allerdings wirklich sehr voll mit Deko und Möbeln. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und diskret. Alles in allem eine tolle Unterkunft auf einem wahnsinnigschönen Grundstück!

This place is truly one of a kind. Simply the most exceptional place I have been to. Great restaurants nearby, directly accessible by boat. We just loved cruising around the lake with the small motor boat, it made everything feel more special. The place itself is unique, as only very few houses are available in Santa Margherita. Lots of birds to watch, but the icing on the cake was all the fireflies at night that sparkle in the dark, really magical. But above all, Mattia was the friendliest, most helpful host and made everything nice and comfortable for us.

Es war wie im Paradies! Ein riesengrossen Garten, privat Strand- was will man mehr… Ein Ausflug nach Orta mit dem Schiff ( unbedingt!!!) Hund Mogli hat es auch sehr gut gefallen 😄
