Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Islamorada

Andrew’s house was so perfect for us! We could have just stayed at the house all week and been happy. We wanted to explore Miami and do some snorkeling in the Keys. This location was right between both. The beds and furniture were soooo comfortable and the spacious house fit our family nicely. The pool and hot tub were like a mini paradise nestled in a quiet neighborhood. The amenities were great and our host Andrew was very responsive and helpful. Best experience we’ve had in an Airbnb. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay! The house was super clean and the back patio was beautiful. We loved the back canal area and saw lots of very cool wildlife and enjoyed fishing right there. Having the kayaks to use was also great. Beds were very comfy and the rooms were spacious. The house had everything we needed. We loved the key colony area. The cabana club was a great space and the house is in walking distance to Sunset Beach, which was beautiful. The whole area is super close to fun things to do and great restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again!

The four of us arrived at Mary’s place and we immediately felt right at home. The place was neat and clean and the decor was tropical. The backyard overlooking the canal was a great place to relax and unwind. We loved walking down the block to the Cabana club each afternoon after coming back from local excursions. One of the great benefits was being able to use the Cabana club which had a fantastic pool, hot tub, beach access and a full service bar with great food and drinks with excellent service and a friendly staff!

We're so glad we decided to stay here and would love to come back again! 3 nights here were not long enough - the house is perfect for a family and there's so much to do in the area! Vilma was so welcoming when we arrived and she is the perfect host! The house had everything we needed (and more!) for our stay, and Vilma and Erasmo were quick to help whenever we had questions and to provide lots of recommendations of sights to see and places to eat. The beds are comfy, showers were hot and with good water pressure, and we really appreciated the extra special touches of things like muffins for our first breakfast there, coffee and creamers, water bottles, beach towels, baby crib and highchair, and even a cooler box for our day trips. Homestead was the perfect base for trips to Miami, the Florida Keys and the Everglades. We would highly recommend this house for both big and small groups alike. This was the most perfect Airbnb for our vacation. First of all, Marathon is the perfect location if you are looking to explore multiple parts of the Keys. 1 hour to Key Largo, 1 hour to Key West. We could not have asked for a better location. The home looks just like the photos and was perfect for our family of 4 + our pup. The beds were comfortable, the living space had plenty of room for our crew, but the real show stopper was the pool. If we weren't out and about exploring the Keys, we were definitely in/by the pool! A few added bonuses: (1) K-cups for our use for that first morning. This kept us from having to worry about an emergency grocery store trip the evening of our arrival (2) pool floats available for our use (3) bikes & kayaks for everyone (4) EVERYTHING. We couldn't have asked for better - we will definitely be back!

10 out of 10 stay. Beautiful, serene property where we often felt we had the mangrove and key to ourselves. Several days were spent on a recurring rotation of kayaking, pool, hot tub, repeat. Perfect distance from Key West for adventuring there, but plenty on Cudjoe Key and Big Pine if you don't want to venture to the hustle and bustle. Sincerely hope to return!!

Place was nice and peaceful. We enjoyed the down time. Enjoyed laying on the beach and soaking up the sun. Only thing I can say negative is the tide was high and had lots of seaweed so u couldn’t get in the water but that’s out of ur control. Definitely somewhere we will return too in the future.

Beautiful home in a beautiful location. Norma is a fantastic host, so helpful and friendly with lots of recommendations some of which we tried and loved. We would definitely stay again and recommend.

My best friend and I stayed at the marina for 2 nights, and the stay was great. It was very clean and the surroundings were private and quiet. We loved being able to grab the paddleboards and go around. The host was super responsive and attentive, and overall, we had a fabulous time. Would definitely recommend.

Condo was exactly as pictured. Beautiful resort and everyone very friendly onsite. Great location and close to lots to do. Cannot wait to book again.

Ana's place is great if you want to spend a few days in the keys and don't want to drive all the way down to Key West. The appartment is big enough for a family with two kids. The balcony was very nice. The kitchen as well, we almost cooked there every night. It is easy to find. Not too far from other places that you want to visit. Close to grocery stores with the car. You did hear the highway a bit, but it was not bothering us at all.

I had to call Mike because a breaker tripped and we could not find the breaker box. He responded immediately and directed us to the correct location. He also took the time to ask if we were enjoying the condo and if there was anything we needed.

I have so many great things to say and don't know where to begin. It's everything I wanted and more! we'll managed/great area! You will love it! I love how modern, very functional and they communicate well! I also stayed cause the pricing was not outrageous. I will stay there again if I come back to the Florida Keys!

Great experience, great host and accommodations. Hot tub wasn't working while we were there, but repair was delayed over the holiday week which was out of the hosts' control. Very communicative and responsive.

Great place for a family. The pool and beach were ideal for kids and the little tiki bar was great for us. The surroundings were lush. We would stay here again.

We had a great stay with our kids - the condo was well furnished, clean, and easily walkable to the pool, game room, and tennis courts. We appreciated the condo was stocked with “kid things” - pack and play, high chair, pool toys, and games. Would recommend to others!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at Diane’s. The space was even better than the pictures. We enjoyed the activities at the yacht club, including fishing, kayaking and hanging out at the pool - but it was also a perfect spot for us to go out and explore other parts of Key Largo. The house itself was very comfortable for us - great beds, a well-stocked kitchen and appreciated all the extras like plenty of beach towels to use. Would love to return!

Javier’s place was as expected. The balcony over looking the canal was awesome. We saw lots a cool fish, a turtle and even a manatee swim right up. The property abuts dolphin plus, where you can swim with dolphins and there is a cute coffee trailer Cuppacobanna situated in the parking lot, has a great Churro latte. Right across the street is the Fish Market. A hidden gem for sure! Walk right over and you can order at the window and sit on the water or at their outside bar. We walked over to the dock at the market and saw tons of nursing sharks just hanging out. We were in town for a wedding at Dream Bag Resort which was only 3 minutes away. Great location, super convenient. Although beds and everything were super clean, I would suggest new comforters which someone previously stained. Also one back cushion missing from the outside patio chairs. We did not need to cook at all so hard to judge that aspect. Not an over abundance of kitchen supplies but the basics. Great stay!

We were very happy to stay there as a family of three. The property is convenietly located and easy to find. Check-In process was flawless. As already mentioned the Condo was very clean. Largo is a state of the art renter. We lost our car-keys in the drive way and he immediately contacted us when they were found and could be retrieved at the gate. We were in the Tavenier area for diving and were diving mostly with Conch-Repbulic Divers and Rainbowreef-Divers. Both shops can be reached within minutes. We definately recommend the Condo and Largo and would book the Condo anytime again. There were absolutely NO negatives and we were very happy to stay there.

Great place just a short distance off Highway 1 and just steps from a nice heated pool. The salt water slough was a big hit for the kids swimming with the fish and the sunrise was amazing. I would definitely book again.

The condo was pristine and actually better than the photos. Bedrooms in particular were really lovely. Our only issue was that the WiFi was out but Sean was super responsive in getting it back up. Plus there was a common WiFi for the building which worked fine. I would definitely rent again.
