If you are looking to explore Bayeux and surrounds you couldn’t stay in a more wonderful spot. The house had everything you could wish for and more - a true home away from home. We loved sitting outside of an afternoon while the kids played. Katrine is a friendly and responsive host, providing recommendations on local places to eat and shop.

Phillips and Annick's accommodation was a dream in a dream location. If we hadn't had other travel plans, we would have liked to have stayed longer. The house was so sparkling clean, we've never experienced that. We were spoiled by the fantastic landscape and the view of the sea.

Beautiful spacious house (we were 6 adults) with garden and terrace with very little overlooking. Quiet environment. The accommodation is very clean, well-equipped and well-located, close to shops and places to visit. Welcoming hosts who adapted without difficulty to our slightly early departure schedule. We recommend!

Manon is an attentive, available and flexible host. The place was clean and very well equipped. If you want to have a pleasant and peaceful time, this is exactly what you need.

Our group of 7 50 something men really enjoyed our 5 day stay in Normandy. Charlotte met us on arrival and showed us around the extensive house and facilities. The house was great with a well equipped kitchen, great covered and heated pool, tennis court and more. We didn't manage to make use of the bikes or canoes that were also at our disposal. Bedrooms were clean with good beds. My only criticisms would be that there was only seating for 5 in the living room, toilets did not have basins, and the directions were not great - a what.3.words location would have been really helpful. Overall, it was a great place to stay and one of our group plans to return with their family later in the year.

The place was great and Thierry was extremely responsive. We had asked him for a small favour since we wanted to leave our bags somewhere safe and Thierry wholeheartedly let us check in early.

Romain Et Céline's AirBnb was a lovely little retreat in Caen. You can reach it from the train station with a 30 minute walk or you can take the tram which gets you there in about 10-15 minutes. The location is in the center of the city. It is a five minute walk to several restaurants for dinner and you are never further than 20-25 minutes walk from most of the popular tourist sites. The listing itself had all the promised amenities. There was not much sound at night so we all slept well. Three of us comfortably used the space. The internet was also able to handle all of us using it at the same time. The shower also had good water pressure and hot water. The check-in instructions were easy to follow and the check-out instructions were quite reasonable. Romain messaged to ask how our stay was going was quick to respond whenever I had questions. I had a wonderful time and would be happy to rent this AirBnb again.

Everything went very well as usual when we come to Carteret, which we love for its calm and the beauty of its landscapes. We really enjoyed the apartment, very nice, convenient, nicely furnished and decorated. A stone's throw from the dunes and close to the beaches, it is a small peaceful cocoon conducive to disconnection. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I would recommend staying here to anyone. Nicholas was very responsive and accommodating. After 10 days traveling in Europe as a family, it was so nice to have some space to spread out in rather than staying another night in a hotel. There was a washing machine which we took advantage of to have some clean clothes to get us through the rest of the trip. The AirBnb is in a great location! Walkable to the Bayeux Tapestry, Bayeux Cathedral and lots of great restaurants and cafes.

Cozy unique apartment with beautiful view to an old church. It is also in a beautiful shopping street with pubs and restaurants. The aparment itself has everything you need, and you get alot of value for your money. The owner answers quick and with clear instructions. Would definitely stay here again!

They don't lie about the beauty of this apartment, we had an amazing stay! The view of the castle is awesome and you are right in the city centre. The apartment is spacious, clean and cozy. You are provided with some great tips about what you can do during your stay, both within the city and Normandy. They provide you with everything you need for an amazing stay in Caen, we highly recommend this place!

Great place to stay. Very good location, very walkable with lots of restaurants and things to do right around the corner. The apartment was very nice and VERY high value. Well worth the low price we paid. Marie was an excellent host, very accommodating and friendly. I would stay here again if I came through the area!

Spacious space for groups, Very responsive and arranging at check-in and checkout. With nickel bedroom and bathroom Small bemol on the kitchen that would ask to be restored to the taste of the day.

It is not easy to find accommodation for a family or friends reunion. Everything is there here. Number of rooms and beds, recreational facilities for children and adults, crockery, seats all in number for a large group. It's clean. My garden is nice, like the house. Thanks again for this weekend!

Great accommodation, nice, beautiful terrace, very functional house. There were six of us and we had a great weekend. Thanks to Stephanie for her welcome and the house is super well located at 2, rue de la mer, there were no surprises. The photos match the house well and if I go back there, I will try to get the same house again, I recommend it.

A great stay by the sea. Morgane's place is perfect! It's beautiful, clean, convenient, good location and more. The interior is very well designed, spacious and comfortable. Everything you could possibly possibly need is available. The garden is beautiful, well exposed and above all well fenced (ideal with our dog). The hot tub is the plus we would not have thought about but which we enjoyed with pleasure. The beach is very close, the town is pretty and quiet and Morgane has a good suggestion if you are looking for activities nearby. We really had a great week, thank you again to our hosts for their great place and their responsiveness in answering our questions. I would recommend it in a second!

Very qualitative accommodation, which matches the descriptions, allowing you to have a great stay. The beds are very comfortable, the hot tub is very large and the kitchen is very functional. 2km from the beaches and cabins of Gouville, no complaints

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.
