Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Ísafjörður

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sophie’s B&B. Sophie was a very friendly and accommodating host. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting her and sitting around her dining room table for a chat and appies. The included and personalized breakfast was a lovely bonus. Sophie was helpful with recommendations and ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Thank you Sophie for making us feel like welcomed friends during our stay!

The duplex apartment and surrounding campus was very nice. The location was in a rural part of the country side with nice views in every direction. The bed rooms were well sized and the common area large enough to fit our group of 7 comfortably. The location had easy access to the Snæfellsjökull National Park and only a couple hours from Reykjavik. Overall a very nice stay to visit the Snaefellsnes peninsula.

LOVE this house! We luckily encountered aurora burst and the house gave us the best view to every direction, sooo nice and lovely especially in a cold windy night that you don't feel like stepping out. We didn't meet the landlord in person but the?communication was very efficiecnt. would recommend this house with stunning view to everyone who comes to the pennisular of Snaefjall!

This apartment was perfect for our family of four. Even though we were not able to go whale watching we saw many light houses , gorges, beaches, and lava fields. This host was so kind and the accommodations were perfect!

I had such an incredible time in Iceland. The place was very clean when I arrived and the hosts were very communicative. The apartment had everything I needed while I was there for a week. I absolutely will be renting again when I come back in six months.

Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sie war sehr sauber und wir haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Ausstattung in der Küche war sehr gut. Wir würden gerne wieder in dieser Wohnung übernachten.

Logement spacieux et confortable. Nous étions 5 (2 adultes et 3 enfants) et donc à l'aise. Pour 6 ou 8 personnes, il n'y a, à mon sens, pas suffisamment d'accessoires de cuisine (et la table à mangé est assez petite). Par contre vue sympa sur la mer d'un côté et le glacier de l'autre. Arrivée et départ autonome et simple. Hôte réactif.

Haukur and Vaida’s home in Isafjodur was perfect to explore the area, beautifully appointed, quaint, and felt so cozy to come home to after a long day of trekking through the west fjords. The house also had the perfect bedroom for our two children, was walkable to city center, and a lovely house cat Hosa who made the stay even more enjoyable!

Beautiful views from the great room, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, nice hot tub, even a foosball table.

Had a really nice stay here on our last night in Iceland. I was very glad to find this place that would accommodate my family of 8 in this rural setting. Wanted to stay close to the national park, and there were not many options other than this. The place was better than I was expecting/pics led on. I was worried we would be cramped, but that was not the case. Other than one of the bedrooms, plenty of space. On that bedroom, I knew going in it would be tight based on pics. In spite of being a bit cramped, not a big deal. Slept fine in that room, and everyone in general slept fine. Main floor was roomier than i thought. Plenty of room in kitchen and other rooms for all. Kids loved the place. Not too far from murals and ocean. Only issue i had was no shampoo in the place. No idea if I knew that before and forgot or should have known it, but it surprised me. Not a big deal. I did not inquire about it either as I was in a hurry. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Ein Traum! Dieses kleine wunderschöne Café-Haus zu bewohnen war etwas ganz besonderes. Vom gemütlichen offenen Wohn-Essbereich hat man Blick auf das Wasser, in der Bucht sieht man (mit Fernglas) Wale und abends kam ein Seehund vorbeigeschwommen, dem wir einfach so zugucken konnten. Auch aus den oberen Zimmern hat man einen traumhaften Blick auf das Wasser. Im Haus ist alles und noch viel mehr, was man braucht, sogar ein Fernglas steht bereit, Fahrräder, Angeln, ein Schachbrett und viel mehr- Dinge, die wir gar nicht erwartet hatten. Auch hat dieses Haus eine Terrasse, das ist eher unüblich in der Gegend, man will gar nicht mehr das Haus verlassen, weil alles da ist. 2 Toiletten vorhanden, praktisch.Ein größerer Supermarkt in 5 Minuten Entfernung zu Fuß, ein kleiner Hafen mit einem tollen Familienunternehmen für Walbeobachtung (Achtung: nur online Anmeldungen möglich), ein kleines Café-Restaurant und die absolute Ruhe. Die Straße vor der Tür stört nicht. Auch bei Sturm super gemütlich.

We absolutely loved Nadia’s house! Perfectly situated on the peninsula with epic views of the mountains and breathtaking Icelandic landscape. The house is perfect for families with plenty of space, comfortable and homely. All topped off with a sauna that is perfect for the end of the day. Would thoroughly recommend a stay.

A quiet retreat in the Westfjords not far from the town of Isafjorda. The home was clean and peaceful and gave us room to spread out. It has a beautiful view of the mountains flanking each side of the fjord and was very private even with other homes nearby. We appreciated having a hot tub to relax at the end of the day and access to a laundry room.

Location was good for a stay if you are driving around the ring road. Not much else around, but that didn't bother us. It was a peaceful relaxing place to stay, nice grassy yard and the hot tub was great. The restaurant 1km away at a hotel was surprisingly good as well. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

A pleasant surprise was that Solveig's place was larger than it appeared from the photos, and had most amenities one would expect in an accommodation. It was a short drive or walk to most locations, not that the weather was amenable to walks during our time. Although the house itself was quite clean, the cleaner hadn't emptied out the waste the day we go there, this was rectified the following day.

The space had everything we needed and more. The hot chocolate, cereal, and cookies were a lovely bonus. There was a welcoming living room, and the bedroom had a very comfortable large bed. It was perfect!

The communication with Röfn was straightforward, and we were allowed a flexible arrival. The accommodation was clean and very cozy. Our expectations were exceeded, and the view out of our room on the bay was phenomenal. We were very satisfied, would come back anytime, and can highly recommend the accommodation.

Uns hat das Zimmer sehr gut gefallen. Es war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet und es gab alles, was man braucht. Das Badezimmer war auch sauber und obwohl alle Zimmer ausgebucht waren, gab es keine Probleme. Röfn ist sehr freundlich. Wir haben spontan gebucht und durften schon eine Stunde später das Zimmer beziehen. Bei unserer Abreise konnten wir sogar einen Wal direkt vor dem Haus beobachten. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen:)

We were hoping to stay in Ísafjörður while visiting friends, but the Aldrei music festival was going on and the town was packed. We were happy to find this place in Flateyri, just 20 minutes away. The setting was gorgeous with snowy mountains all around! The place was quiet, with plenty of space for two people. The clothes dryer gave us trouble when trying to end the cycle early— the cooling fan ran for over 45 minutes before we could open the dryer door. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

Great place to stay. Comfortable, clean and everything you need for a great stay. Tina was a really helpful and proactive host.
