House holiday rentals in Irondequoit

We had a great stay at Amy’s place while in town for my son’s sporting event. The house is large, very clean, and stocked with everything you could possibly need—it made traveling with kids so much easier. Amy was a fantastic host—she sent over restaurant recommendations before we arrived and even mailed back a few clothes we accidentally left in the dryer (so appreciated!). The location was super convenient—close to stores (Target, Dicks Sporting Goods, Wegmans), restaurants, Lake Ontario (2 miles away), and only about 20 minutes to Rochester. We visited in early April, so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool or outdoor space, but it all looked lovely.

Generously stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Unheated pool was a little too chilly the beginning of June, but great back yard space for grilling and visiting. A lounge chair with an adjustable back for reading would make it even more amazing. Loved that I could go for a walk on quiet country roads in the morning. Thank you Traci for all the extra's, your home worked out perfectly for us and we'll be back!

Beatriz’s place was exactly as advertised! It was spotless and beautiful and perfect for what we needed. Sadly the weather didn’t cooperate for us to use the outdoor areas, but Beatriz and her husband were nice enough to help us get the fireplace going for a late spring cold-weather snap. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was set up great for entertaining. I would absolutely recommend Beatriz’s place if you’re going to Rochester. It is located near lots of restaurants and shopping areas. You can’t go wrong here! We would not hesitate to stay at one of her homes again if we are ever back in the area!!!

Neil's place was the perfect spot for a family reunion. The house was located within walking distance of local restaurants and shops (or a very short drive) and had a nature walking trail just down the street. Neil clearly put great care into making the home comfortable for guests. It was well stocked and appointed. When we cooked dinner our last evening, there were sufficient plates and cooking supplies - a peeler, wine opener, etc. When it rained, we enjoyed the pool. We enjoyed the large dining table with a sufficient number of chairs (lots of cards games). There were plenty of rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. The washer and dryer worked great and he provided the detergent. Will definitely be looking to book Neil's place in the future!

We were looking for a quiet place to enjoy a weekend with friends while we attended an outdoor concert at Wayne County Fairgrounds. This definitely hit the mark! Four adults and dog were very comfortable. Spacious bedrooms, great kitchen so we didn’t have to eat out, and comfortable house overall. Even saw two deer and a fox in the backyard one night! Highly recommend because Kenneth was more than accommodating.

We stayed here for my daughters near-by wedding. It was great to have a place big enough for my family to be together and enjoy the weekend. This is an exceptional property!! The hosts were gracious and wonderful. I booked this long before it was done. ...a bit on a wing and a prayer for what they had hoped to do..... There was no disappointment. The place is very nice. (That is an understatement). Well stocked. Everything you need and so much more!!! The barn was a huge hit. My 5 year old grandson summed it up when he first walked into the upstairs "bonus" room. He turned to his 3 year old brother and exclaimed "(brother's name) ...we've hit the jackpot!" The host has several other properties which I am sure are all as nice....I wouldn't hesitate to check those out if you are traveling elsewhere. But, if you are going to be in the area, do treat yourself and your fellow guests and do stay here.

This is my families second stay at Bree’s beautiful home for the Christmas week. The family gathers from all different cities and such a perfect spot to come together ! Cozy and spacious , kitchen is well supplied and the views are spectacular. We were so happy to have a white Christmas this year and 6 fox sightings in the yard!! Highly recommend!! Haven’t stayed for the summer season but I can imagine with the pool and hot tub and lake use opportunities it would amazing. Thanks again Tom

Magnificent homestead built in 1855. Beautiful grounds. Loved the animals in the barn. Lovely tennis court and swimming pool. Comfy beds! Martha was totally responsive and helpful. Peaceful and relaxing stay!😊

Great place in a convenient and quiet area. Close to the Lake and a couple nice restaurants. There is a half bathroom downstairs as well and this was a pleasant surprise for us!

Beautiful, comfy, spacious home in a cute neighborhood with a Wegmans and playground nearby. Our family stayed two nights and enjoyed the backyard, back porch, and cozy couches and blankets -- would definitely stay again!

Our stay at Mike and Tisbe’s was incredible. The home and yard were perfect and the view of the lake and sunset were just wonderful. Mike and Tisbe were always responsive. Highly, highly recommend!!!!

If you are considering any place this one hits the mark! The place was amazing and close to everything. The area is very peaceful with plenty of nature. Joseph gave great recommendations for places to go and things to do. Once you arrive you will feel right at home. We spent 9 days there. Joseph was very responsive throughout my whole trip from booking to our stay. I would highly recommend this place if you want to feel right at home. The luxury of having a washer and dryer was great too, not to mention our host dropped off some amazing food for us. I will definitely be booking this place again, we didn't want to go home.

The home was exactly what you’d want for a spot on the water to enjoy the views. Christina was quick to respond to a question I had regarding paddle board rentals. Would love to visit their home again!!

We had a lovely stay at this charming 1933 home in Irondequoit. It still has many of its original fixtures and plumbing, which gives it a cozy, vintage feel. We mostly needed a place to sleep, and it was perfect for that—quiet, peaceful, and very clean. You can tell the cleaning crew does a great job; the vacuum lines on the sofa were a nice touch, and the quality toilet paper and paper towels were appreciated. There was also some great Dunkin’ Donuts coffee provided, which was a perfect way to start the morning. The backyard was especially peaceful—we laid out on yoga mats and listened to the birds singing. More seating in the backyard and front would be a great addition. A full-length mirror would also be helpful when getting ready to go out. Still, we were very comfortable and thankful for the stay. It’s a nice, restful place in a quiet neighborhood, and we’d happily stay again!

We have stayed in this area multiple times as we love the area. The home was a very short walking distance to several places to eat and drink adult beverages. Two of them being places we have gone to before and really enjoyed. The home was very nice, clean and comfortable and we felt right at home

Absolutely beautiful property and absolutely STELLAR host ! Super responsive when we had questions and was more than accommodating with our service dog! Big beautiful yard and clean comfy home ! 10/10 inside and out with wonderful a amenities! Super quiet neighborhood and feels extremely safe! Board games available and a TV in every room!! We would absolutely book again for our next trip! Thank you guys so much !

We had a nice stay at Zachary's tiny home. It was very clean, and the proximity to the city via Culver was really convenient.

We loved our stay! My daughter was graduating from U of Rochester and our family of 8 came including my 87 (very picky) mom :) she raved about the place and we loved it. Great location, safe, and most of CLEAN, that is so important to me when I stay somewhere and this home is immaculate. The hosts are super responsive and only regret is that i did not find this before she sooner during her 4 years at Rochester!

Jessica is the sweetest! Such an incredible host that made my family’s stay for graduation weekend incredible. We loved coming back and taking walks around the quiet neighborhood, and enjoyed the lovely space. Would highly recommend this place!

Jillian’s place was clean and comfy for our visit. The cottage is small and nothing fancy but had everything we needed and was in a great location. The bed in the main room was very comfortable and my kids loved having the bunks to sleep in. The water pressure in the shower was also great!

We were in town for a wedding, and this Airbnb was close to the wedding venue. We had a great stay, all of our needs were met, and if we had time, we would’ve totally enjoyed the property.

Ananda is a great and very responsive host! The house is beautiful and the location is great, very peaceful neighborhood and walking trails right by the house. Lake Ontario Beach Park is two miles down the road. We felt right at home and would stay there anytime again!

Great spot to stay right by the beach. Beautiful backyard to relax in. And the pups really enjoyed the space to run and play. Camille was very kind and attentive. Would definitely stay again!
