House holiday rentals in Monroe County

We had a great stay at Amy’s place while in town for my son’s sporting event. The house is large, very clean, and stocked with everything you could possibly need—it made traveling with kids so much easier. Amy was a fantastic host—she sent over restaurant recommendations before we arrived and even mailed back a few clothes we accidentally left in the dryer (so appreciated!). The location was super convenient—close to stores (Target, Dicks Sporting Goods, Wegmans), restaurants, Lake Ontario (2 miles away), and only about 20 minutes to Rochester. We visited in early April, so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool or outdoor space, but it all looked lovely.

The home was bigger than the pictures made it seem. Perfect size for our family trip. Pool and outside area was well maintained and peaceful. The inside was very clean and comfortable. Beatriz was very responsive and helpful.

The home was exactly as pictured and described. Everything was clean and in good order. Very comfortable. And the outdoors was very inviting, though we just didn't have time to try the hot tub-- next time! Hosts were very responsive to my questions and gave clear instructions for check-in and checkout, with no excessive requirements. We'd definitely book again.

Neil's place was the perfect spot for a family reunion. The house was located within walking distance of local restaurants and shops (or a very short drive) and had a nature walking trail just down the street. Neil clearly put great care into making the home comfortable for guests. It was well stocked and appointed. When we cooked dinner our last evening, there were sufficient plates and cooking supplies - a peeler, wine opener, etc. When it rained, we enjoyed the pool. We enjoyed the large dining table with a sufficient number of chairs (lots of cards games). There were plenty of rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. The washer and dryer worked great and he provided the detergent. Will definitely be looking to book Neil's place in the future!

Lj's place is in a great neighborhood. Just a block off the lake and a short walk to a small park and beach. Very quiet at night. Not far from main routes back into Rochester. Fenced-in backyard was perfect for our dogs. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Magnificent homestead built in 1855. Beautiful grounds. Loved the animals in the barn. Lovely tennis court and swimming pool. Comfy beds! Martha was totally responsive and helpful. Peaceful and relaxing stay!😊

We were there for our granddaughters graduation from RIT. Casey's home was ideal and she went out of her way to be flexible and welcoming. An excellent host. Thank you.

Absolutely beautiful property and absolutely STELLAR host ! Super responsive when we had questions and was more than accommodating with our service dog! Big beautiful yard and clean comfy home ! 10/10 inside and out with wonderful a amenities! Super quiet neighborhood and feels extremely safe! Board games available and a TV in every room!! We really enjoyed our stay. The location is very good as it has a really good view, quiet, and close to lots of state parks. The room is cozy and spacious. Kitchen has all the utensils. Angela is really helpful before and during our stay. Definitely recommend!

Great stay while visiting our son at RIT. Our pups loved the fenced in backyard and a great and quiet neighborhood for walking. Bathrooms were especially extra clean which means a lot to us while traveling. We spent lots of time in the nice sunroom with comfy couches and privacy. Jason was very communicative. We felt right at home!

Great spot to stay right by the beach. Beautiful backyard to relax in. And the pups really enjoyed the space to run and play. Camille was very kind and attentive. Would definitely stay again!

You will absolutely love this place. Spacious, clean, and updated. Well-stocked kitchen, with every thing you can possibly need. Beds and linens are comfortable. Window air conditioning cools the entire house well, otherwise, the lake breezes are fantastic. 3 full bathrooms were convenient, since we had 5 adults and 3 children. Kitchen and common living areas are spacious, and the view of the lake is breathtaking at sunset. We spent every evening of our 3-night stay on the outside covered porch area, again, enjoying the breeze. We were in Rochester due to the death of both of my parents. Family traveled from all over the US and Canada. We were thankful to find this place a month before our event. Melissa was over-the-top kind to accommodate us, and a pleasure to speak with. You can tell that she is an experienced host. Thank you, again, Melissa.

Incredible. Everything was perfect. This house looks even better than the photos, and it was spotless. The wifi is super fast, the tv is huge and has all the streaming services. There were complementary snacks, water bottles, even a bottle of wine. The location is great, so many restaurants/bars/stores etc. within walking distance. There's a firepit in back that is easy to use. Parking was simple. The beds are comfortable and everything is so fresh. The host gets back to you right away if you have any questions and is so accommodating and nice. No negatives, this place is a gem. Thank you, Tim!

The home was wonderful, our visit to Rochester was amazing and comfortable for our family. We weren’t sure how to start the gas fireplace and Brigith was quick to help us. We would love to return!

I have stayed in Air B and Bs all throughout Europe and in the USA. This place is at the top of the list in just about every category. The host is easy to reach, proactive and responsive. Very clean place and the amenities were all first class. I was at this place for a golfing reunion with my brothers who came from all over the world. We are all in our 70s and 80s. None of us, (including my perfectionist brother who always finds something to complain about) had any complaints. In addition, the neighborhood is great. Plenty of nice, high quality restaurants . Easy walking to just enjoy the magnificent housing in the area. Also close to the Museum and Planetarium for the rainy days. We had a great time and could not be happier with this rental.

We enjoyed staying at Alecia’s place. The house was clean, linens were fresh. She was also very attentive to her guests. We had seven people and she prepared seven bottles of water for us plus snacks. The kitchen was well stocked with tools for cooking. Check-in and check-out were extremely easy. Her attentiveness made our stay extra enjoyable.

The home was exactly what you’d want for a spot on the water to enjoy the views. Christina was quick to respond to a question I had regarding paddle board rentals. Would love to visit their home again!!

I can’t even put into words how lovely this Airbnb is! My now wife and I stayed here for our wedding weekend. What a wonderful sanctuary to walk into; especially riding in on a wave of excitement and nerves. It truly felt like a home away from home and brought us so much comfort and joy. Every detail of this home is impeccable. The vibes? Full of love and light. We thank you for creating such a warm home and sharing it with so many others. We felt the love in every record, every texture, and every step. As the terminator says, I’ll be back.

Jessica is the sweetest! Such an incredible host that made my family’s stay for graduation weekend incredible. We loved coming back and taking walks around the quiet neighborhood, and enjoyed the lovely space. Would highly recommend this place!

Ananda is a great and very responsive host! The house is beautiful and the location is great, very peaceful neighborhood and walking trails right by the house. Lake Ontario Beach Park is two miles down the road. We felt right at home and would stay there anytime again!

The home was well appointed and located on a lovely beach! We were comfortable from the start and enjoyed the beach, games nights with the kids and exploring the area. Lou and MaryBeth were very helpful and quick to reply with any questions we had during our stay and even after when my adult son accidently had a package from Amazon mailed to the home. Lou also provided many great local recommendations. We even found a couple pieces of pirate glass treasure. We hope to visit again soon!

Very cozy!!!! Travelled here for a soccer tourney with a family of 5. Lots of room , great backyard for a nice fire. Beds were very comfy. Would definitely stay again if in the area !
