Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Indian Lake

A fun winter break/birthday getaway! Sarah’s house had plenty of bedrooms for all guests. The game room, pool table, and wood stove/fireplace were great to have on these cold February days. Everyone enjoyed the sunroom and large dining table. The hot tub and outdoor sleds were used as well. The history of the house and beautiful views from the property were an interest to all. I bet this house is a lovely spot in the summer as well!

Perfect location for skiing Gore Mountain. 4 min drive. Great Adirondack feel. Ewa checked in a few times via text. Wanting to be sure we were warm enough in the very cold temps. We were toasty. We invited her to stop in one eve to say hello and see our German Shepard. Shes a big lover of these dogs. She stopped in with some treats for him and say hello. Unit is very clean and spacious. No problems, would recommend for skiing.

We came to celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend! The house is absolutely beautiful and Jesse and Michelena are great hosts. They were extremely responsive and friendly. Glens falls is stunning, lots of friendly locals. The hot tub is amazing, so refreshing, especially in the winter! We can’t wait to come back

This rental was absolutely perfect for our visit to the area for a wedding weekend! The separate units gave each couple their own space and privacy, but the beautiful shared space allowed us to enjoy our time as a larger group. The views on Little Wolf Pound were spectacular! The location was also perfectly central for the area, with quick drives to any desired location in the area. Reinaldo was an absolute all-star host! He was responsive, flexible, and kind!! Cannot recommend this rental highly enough!! A++++++++++++

This place was in a quiet residential area. It’s close to the John Brown’s farm, and many trails close by for easy hikes. Everything we needed for the place was clean and in working order. Communication was very good. We had a relaxing week after Easter Sunday, which was just what we needed.

Wes place was immaculate, well heated, and centrally located. He went above and beyond stocking his home with amenities, such as sheets, toilet paper, etc., items that some places do not provide. Wes even put down salt on the stairs on days that it snowed. We will definitely return!!

This is the full-sized 1st floor apartment of a split-level house, with the entire first floor for the AirBnB. It is on a quiet street about a 5-minute walk to the main downtown area of Saratoga Springs. The area was very quiet, we never had any road noise, but used the location to walk to the downtown for coffee, walking around, etc. pretty easily. The space itself has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with everything fully stocked: linens, towels, kitchen needs, etc. There was a great selection of board games to play, a nice touch! All of the bathrooms were clearly renovated/updated and the space was extremely clean when we checked in. Overall, and excellent stay for the cleanliness, location, and amenities. Thanks!!

This was our second time staying at Craig and Deb's place ✨ it was wonderful as always! place is clean, cozy and warm. They're very attentive, and the area feels safe, convenient supermarket nearby. A must stay if going skiing at West Mountain.

We had a great stay in this apartment. The location was fantastic - walking distance to both Skidmore and downtown. Apartment was comfy and exactly as pictured. Dan was very responsive and generously provisioned the apartment with snacks and breakfast makings. Would happily stay again. Thank you!

We had a good stay for one night on the way to a sky resort. The location was good for us. The house is spacious. The communication was good.

Perfect spot for our overnight stay for our family of 3. Was walking distance to the main shops and was glad to have off street parking. Place was well stocked with and had everything we could have needed. Would look to stay here again for a future visit!

This is our second time staying in this building. We preferred the first floor over the second only because I'm getting too old for stairs. Other than that, they're both amazing!

We spent a total of 3 to 4 weeks, dealing with a family issue. Place is brand new, clean, and super conveniently located. Host very responsive.

My boyfriend and I loved our stay here! The place was spotless! We felt so comfortable with how clean the space was and it was the perfect size for two. A big perk were the heated floors in the bathroom!! Location was perfect—about a 10 minute walk to Broadway. Gillian was quick with her responses whenever we had a question. We would definitely stay here when we travel back to Saratoga Springs!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Kathy's! The place was very clean and comfortable, and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us. The kitchen was well stocked, and all linens were fresh. The location was very convenient to all that Lake Placid has to offer but also removed just enough to have some quiet time away from the bustle of all the shops. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Lake Placid in the future. I highly recommend!

Kate is hands down, the most responsive host we've ever experienced. She truly cares that your stay is a wonderful experience. The place is as advertised and she made it warm and welcoming for our arrival. As noted in other reviews there is road noise from a busy main road, but it didn't bother us at all. The location is a bit out of town so you have more peace and are a short drive from two different towns. We like to hang out in our AirBNB's as a family, relax, eat, play games so a warm homey environment is a must. If you enjoy spending relaxing mornings and evenings in your AirBNB spots this is a great choice.

My husband and I had a lovely stay and the host RJ made sure all our needs were met. We would love to come back in the summer and see some more of Lake Placid from RJ’s little piece of heaven.
