This accommodation has a fully equipped kitchen , private bathroom, living room, private bedroom & outdoor fire pit. This accommodation sleeps 4, w/ Direct TV, HBO & Wifi.

Unique Rustic Adirondack Cabin

This is a unique rustic cabin on a private dirt road nestled on a mountain brook in the forest adjoining the Giant Mountain Wilderness Area. This small (200 sq ft + 80 sq ft sleeping loft), Adirondack style cabin was completely refurbished this past year using locally sourced woods and built by hand. Located two miles from downtown Keene Valley, and at 1800 feet, this is an ideal place for those who prefer the quiet forest, the peaceful sound of a mountain brook, and possibily seeing animals.

The Speculator Guest House is fully renovated to offer an elevated stay. Simple luxury in the Adirondacks with premium amenities like an outdoor sauna, weekday private chef brunch or dinner, espresso maker, and firewood for campfires under the string lights. Walk to the grocery store, restaurants, shops, or the sandy beach on Lake Pleasant (.6 miles). Each guest receives individualized local recommendations. There are endless things to do in the area-fishing, skiing, hiking, multiple museums, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, kayaking and canoeing to start your getaway!

Want to feel disconnected? This is our cabin. The cabin is a beautiful country space in between two small ponds. There are various animals described as well as a mountain to hike and kayaks. There are dozens of recommendations on places to go, all you have to do is ask. There isn't electricity, but there is a shower as well as clean drinking water, a stove and grill as well as an out house. It's The True Adirondack Experience.
