Jan’s has a beautiful home in an amazing estate filled with loads of things to do. Jan was very helpful and generous.

We arrived around 5pm and found the key in the lockbox. Sandy was very responsive to our needs. There was a problem with one of the air conditioners and she sent a technician out to remedy the problem. The solar panels, inverter and battery were a real bonus as there were a couple of unexpected power outages and we were not affected by them. The house is spacious with beautiful sea views from most of the bedrooms and living areas. It is well decorated and makes for good and comfortable living with more than enough kitchen utensils to cater for our full house of eight people and three dogs. Sipho worked during the week keeping the garden and pool area clean, including cleaning the braai. We used him inside a couple of times to clean at an additional cost paid directly to him. He even washed our cars without being asked to do so. When the deck overlooking the ocean became a bit windy, we used the well protected pool and covered braai area. The pool table and dart board added to the fun

Really lovely place, excellently appointed kitchen, nice quiet spot in Prince's Grant surrounded by trees. Easy to feel right at home here.

Wow, what an amazing house! Stunning with plenty of room and right on the beach. Everybody who went just loved the place and can't wait to go back. It's a wonderful place! The apartment is very spacious, bigger than it looked in the photos. Everything is very clean and brand new. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay. The territory is close and you feel safe in the apartment. The beach is very close, literally 5 minutes on foot. But the veranda won our hearts, the whole family spent most of our time there playing games and talking! The ocean view is mesmerizing. Many thanks to the hosts! Candice was in touch all the time, helped with all the questions very quickly. Special thanks for the opportunity for flexible check-in and check-out! Will definitely come back and recommend to our friends!

Small but comfy. Perfect for a small family. It was a bit tight for 4 single adults but for one night it was fine. Would recommend for anyone looking for a short stay in town.

We had a real good family break, the accommodation was really good and the hosts kept us updated on booking in and out. Nice to be in walking distance to the beach and the views were spectacular. Thank you To Leo and Kerry for the bottle of wine and being amazing hosts.

We had an amazing stay at this gem on the Dolphin Coast! The apartment is beautiful and perfectly located—just steps from the beach and tidal pool. The sea views are breathtaking, and we loved spending time on the verandah overlooking Chakas Rock. It’s ideal for a couple or small family, with everything you need for a relaxing, self-catering holiday. The complex is safe and quiet, with restaurants just around the corner. Highly recommended for a coastal getaway!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at La Mer No4. The unit is clean,spacious and so stunning with all the modern finishes and homely touches. Thandi was so warm and welcoming and kept the place so neat and tidy. I highly recommend for families and couples who are looking to enjoy the beauty of Ballito and surroundings in a home away from home. What an amazing two days my family and I had. The accommodation was spacious and lovely . Gary is such an excellent host and thought of everything . He’s also a really nice guy !! We really enjoyed our stay! The place is very nice, looks exactly like the pictures, and had all the amenities we needed. Olivia is a great host. When we arrived, getting inside was easy. My cell number had been registered at the gate, so to enter, we simply called the gate number from the registered phone, and the gate opened automatically — a new and interesting experience! Once inside, we used the remote and keys from the key box, and from then on, we used them to open and close the gate as needed. The private access to the beach was also a wonderful bonus and made our stay even more special.

I had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment while in KZN for the Comrades Marathon. The space was immaculate, stylish, and had everything I could possibly need. What truly made this experience stand out was Janine, the host. From the moment I booked, her communication was exceptional—warm, funny, and refreshingly down-to-earth. She checked in every day with genuine care and good humour, making sure I had everything I needed and even sharing great local tips. Her friendly, light-hearted personality made me feel so welcome — it was like connecting with an old friend! The apartment itself had so many thoughtful touches: a well-stocked kitchen with a variety of spices, cooking oil, plenty of washing liquid, and all those little extras that are so often overlooked. I didn’t have to worry about a thing—it truly felt like a home away from home. I will absolutely be staying here again!

Nicely laid out space for a group-share: four independent rooms, each with an en suite full bathroom. Proximity to beach is excellent. The condo is outfitted with everything you'd need--from kitchen gear to beach towels, etc. We were a group of seven attending a wedding and had a great time in the space. Trish was also very helpful: when one guest forgot his passport in the condo, she was quick to let us back into the space well after checkout. I would recommend Trish's place for anyone looking for a fun pad to connect with family and friends, beachside.
