Family-friendly holiday rentals in Iglesias

Hi Bronya & Antonello We have tremendously enjoyed our two weeks stay at your clean well-equipped apartment in Villenova Cagliari that was a most comfortable base for our planned exploration of the city and the more local area. You have been a most attentive host providing an accurate welcome pack that we referred to regularly for guidance ( bus 7 is a most interesting circular ride around the old citadel) with the market San Benedetto just 5 Minutes’ walk and cucina eat dining about 10 minutes away or an evening’s stroll up to the Bagni Pubblici di piazza costituzione and back about 90 Minutes. We recommend visitors using the bus service down load the CTM bus finder APP and purchase a 7 day ride card for 12 euros that can be topped up if required and get a hard map of the city as mobile signal strength can be a sporadic in the narrow streets. We used Get your Guide APP booking 3 major tours. Lots more to say but few characters left. Thanks Andy and Mandy. 45 years anniversary x

A spacious villa, quietly located in beautiful mountainous nature (so also dogs barking, cackling chickens...). Fantastic view from the terrace, a rather large pool (attention, deep, nothing for too small children), plenty of space on the outdoor grounds for volleyball, table tennis, etc., well-kept garden with palm trees, really nice. Everything very clean, ingenious dining room, in which even with the greatest heat there is always a fresh wind. 3km to the nearest shop, Nora beach about 15 mins by car, to the super nice beach in Chia 30 mins. Landlord very likeable and always available for questions.

We had a great stay over here. Rita is a great host and very flexible. We only have one recommendation about the airconditioning; in hot periods it would be nice to have one in each room or at least a fan. Furthermore, everything was great!

Communication went smoothly. Questions were always answered very quickly. The reception was warm and the key handover was straightforward. Even during the stay, the landlords are always easy to reach and helpful. The house is very large and spacious. There were nine of us and we always felt very comfortable. There was nothing missing. The house is a bit remote and a car is urgently needed. The quiet neighborhood and the large garden with pool invite you to relax. Thank you for the wonderful stay! 😊

Massimo is an outstanding Host! We encountered some issues independent of Massimo, and he was always available by email or physically on site. She's a warm, welcoming person with one obsession: Your comfort Thank you Massimo ... because we had a great week in a quiet and superb environment. In April the sea is still cold but the landscapes are sumptuous, and the beach 70 m from the cottage is a small jewel. Also check out the beaches on the Chia side... a real little paradise! Good season Massimo ... Looking forward to seeing you again maybe someday Best regards

Wow ! This place is an absolute gem! Just totally homely, pool and gardens amazing and loved seeing the turtles! We were able to chat every day via translation app with Ben and Franca what wonderful people! A definite return!

I fell in love with the house from the photos and live is exactly as it is presented: creative, welcoming, comfortable, cared for, clean, spacious and super-stocked! The house has all the comforts imaginable. It also has a lot of extra things (e.g. all body products both for bathing and for the sea), very useful for those like me who travel by plane with a light luggage. Chiara was immediately welcoming, very kind and very helpful. It welcomes you with a welcome aperitif, has an agreement with the pastry shop in front for breakfast, and in the fridge it makes you find tasty surprises, such as the exceptional and typical homemade myrtle. It gives you valuable information about how to get around and what to visit. The location is super convenient to both downtown and the sea. What's more: go there!! Highly recommended!!! 🤩🤩🤩❤️🙏

Claudia is a very attentive host, and her house is ideal for large families looking for a quiet getaway. There are lots of possibilities for day trips, but equally lots of possibilities for relaxing by the pool, reading a good book, playing pool volleyball with the kids, making great dinners and the likes. I highly recommend it.

Our stay Max and Davide’s apartment was lovely. The flat is clean, much bigger than expected and nicely decorated. The location is perfect for accessing town and the beach and on a quiet street. Our communication with Max was very good and he had gave us loads of recommendations and tips, and he let us leave our bags in a locked room after checkout when we had a late flight.

It was a very positive and beautiful experience, above all thanks to the location of the property located in the center of the village. The apartment is very comfortable, functional, practical and clean, equipped with all the amenities listed on the site. The island's beaches are truly beautiful, reachable in 30 minutes max, with enchanting and unique views. Daniela was very kind, reserved and always available, recommending restaurants, beaches and places to visit. We will definitely come back to benefit from the tranquility and friendliness received from the islanders in these three weeks spent in Sant'Antioco. Thanks again Daniela

The house is in a quiet and private location and in a great location to visit the beautiful nearby beaches. The house was very clean and Marco and his family made us feel at home. The welcome drinks and fruit were really appreciated. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

Very spacious, extremely comfortable spaces. Easy living in penthouse with wrap around verandah, all sides. Great location, close to old town, Belvedere lookout, marina, etc… nice and easy. Fantastic hosts 🙏, kitchen with everything you need; I highly recommend! Cheers

Simone and Erika’s house is beautiful, spacious, clean, by the sea, big garden. A perfect relaxing place for holidays close to nice beaches. We would of like to have all the rules before arrival as there are quite a few and if you don’t follow all the rules you would get charged extra €€, i understand they need to put some rules but maybe for the next host better to send them before arrival. Very kind host, impeccable house (even a hair dryer with a diffuser, a non-trivial attention). The beach kit is highly appreciated, useful for visiting the most beautiful beaches independently.

Delicious stay, too short, spent in Anna's apartment which allowed us to discover, on foot, this beautiful and endearing city that is Cagliari. Anna is just as much. With incredible hospitality, she is full of attention to make your stay as pleasant as possible. With it, the key box is not required. She takes the time to welcome her guests personally, in her apartment full of memories and rich in traditional objects. It is a relationship that is created, an exchange that is established, a sharing that is realised. Thank you Anna for giving our Sardinian journey a special flavour that will stay with us until our next visit, we hope.

We spent a wonderful holiday as a family in this great holiday home in Sardinia! The house is very well maintained, tastefully decorated and equipped as described. We were particularly impressed by the magnificent pool, which provided a welcome refreshment on hot days and was extensively used by young and old. The location is quiet and relaxing, perfect for switching off, and yet you can quickly reach beaches, shopping and beautiful excursion destinations by car. The spacious terrace overlooking the mountains was our favorite place - simply fantastic! Communication with the host and the locals was very friendly. They were very helpful and always available if questions arose. We felt completely comfortable! An absolute recommendation!

We wanted peace and we got it 100% during our stay. The beautiful accommodation and the location directly by the sea are unique. The taxi boat to the nearby town was adventurous and something special. Because we knew that we had to register and plan our trips early, it was a good opportunity for us as a family with two teenagers to communicate with each other and coordinate our activities. We spent most of the time on the island because the large pool and the sea were the highlight for all of us. We chose the perfect time, there were hardly any other people on the island, so we had the pool to ourselves most of the time. Luciana, who lives in the apartment next door, spoiled us with a delicious Parmecano and a LimoncelloCrema liqueur. She was so sweet and warm, it was a real gift and a constant surprise. Dalia was always available for questions. We would come back anytime.

We really enjoyed our stay at the accommodation. A car is definitely needed. The small and nearby town of Pula is recommended. Beautiful and charming Italian atmosphere!

One of the best accommodations I’ve ever been! Such a magical place and perfect for relaxing.

Overall, we had a great stay in Nebida and we definitely recommend this accommodation. Rita was very friendly and the house is beautiful with a stunning view. There are only two points of criticism from our side: Unfortunately, the pool was (very surprisingly for us) only open from 12-15.00, therefore we could not use it with our little daughter (because she either had to sleep or eat during that time). But we don't know if the new opening hours are new or of they change during the high season. Also, we had to wait 1 hour longer to check-in (which was communicated well and friendly on that day but not very easy with a little hungry child that had to vomit after a long drive).

Fantastic place! We were 3 mature couples who enjoy a beautiful scenery, comfort and hospitality and Simone's home had all of that and more. He set the bar very high as a superb host, even inviting us to a pizza party where he provided a personal demonstration. Simone was very responsive to questions of recommendations of places to visit, restaurants and wines. A car is a must as it is in a quiet residential area although there is a lovely restaurant and bar within walking distance. The pool area and balcony were great places to relax after a day at the beach or sightseeing. Thank you Simone for your very kind and generous hospitality.
