Cabin holiday rentals in Idaho Springs

This cabin was the highlight of our Colorado vacation. It felt like we had a piece of the mountain to ourselves and enjoyed exploring the area. The river and bridges on the property were amazing, and we loved the views from the hot tub. Everything was very clean and comfortable. After we checked out, we spent a few nights in Estes Park at the Rocky Mountains National Park, but that couldn’t compare to our stay in this cabin! This location was everything we wanted and more. If you’re planning a Colorado trip you should absolutely stay here, it was better than the RMNP, and that’s saying a lot! My family would absolutely love to return to this cabin on a future trip. Alexandra was awesome too. Very responsive and flexible, offering early check in and late check out options, as well as recommending things to do in the area. Overall, this was a wonderful stay, 10/10 would recommend and 5 stars from the whole family! Don’t miss out on this hidden gem in Colorado!!!

Exactly what we wanted. Secluded yet close to I70 so we could get anywhere fairly quickly. Be a great place to stay if you were skiing several different mountains. Deck over looking the creek was awesome!

Gorgeous and peaceful retreat! The sound of the creek and the calmness around were so refreshing. Spotless, well-stocked, and a kind, responsive host. We’ll be back soon!

Absolutely beautiful home in a beautiful location, can’t recommend it more. Everything is well stocked. I didn’t even notice that there’s a whole separate tree house giving our family of 8 more than enough space. Would definitely come back

We had a great stay at the cabin! Just like the photos and in a great area where you feel like you are out by yourself! Super cozy cabin and very responsive and helpful host!

Our stay was nothing short of wonderful. We opened the front door and instantly felt at peace and relaxed. It was the perfect amount of cozy yet minimalistic to make us feel comfortable but not cluttered. I loved the personal touch of all the throw blankets! We enjoyed the hottub and many bonfires under the stars. We even were able to have special encounters with wildlife. After many days of hiking it was especially helpful to have access to do laundry on site. Overall, the only downfall is that we couldn’t stay longer. Janice had many fabulous recommendations and insider pointers for us, she was a dream to work with! We’ll be back!

Being originally from Colorado, this place made me feel right back at home since we have lived out of state for the last five years. The house was clean, and the views were as spectacular as I remember. This is a great location to stay at if you are going to a show at Red Rocks. Rockin Transportaion went above and beyond to make our night special and our transportation easy from the house to the show. The hot tub and firepit were also great bonus to the stay:)

This was a wonderful airbnb, it was so relaxing with the porch, fireplace, hot tub, cozy living room. Beautiful backyard, we enjoyed our day outside and played some cornhole as well. The bed was so comfortable and host was super fast at responding!

What a beautiful retreat you have created! I was so impressed that they though of all the little things, coffees, teas, creamer, many sugar options, makeup wipes, candy by the bed, water in the fridges, a sweet s'mores pack, plush robes, slippers, blow, dryer, so many fun outside activities to do. There were many options for food prep. The patio space is inviting and relaxing! The stars and views at night were breathtaking ⭐. Really well done, thank you for taking the stress out of our trip, we were able to unwind and refresh! I highly recommend this place!

Stayed for a second time in Mark and Maritza’s idyllic cabin. This time we brought our son and daughter and really had a lovely time. The kids really loved the hot tub, axe throwing and hammocks. We had just the right amount of space for the 4 of us. We cooked all our meals at the cabin. It rained a lot while we were there, but we stayed cozy with the hot tub, wood burning stove and heated flooring. The coffee maker wasn’t working the morning of our arrival, but Mark responded right away and so kindly purchased a new one for us right away so we wouldn’t be without our morning cup. Thank you Mark! The kids have already asked if we can come back next year! We highly recommend this spot for a peaceful mountain retreat, yet hope it never books up too much for us to get another chance to stay.

Lauren’s place was a perfect escape from the normal chaos of life! The perfect get away for anyone looking to just get out in the mountains! Best way to enjoy a perfect night under the stars was to be in the nice warm hot tub or next to the perfect little fire pit! 10 out of 10 will go again! Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

Ken’s cabin is PERFECT! It’s secluded, even though there are neighbors in the area they’re not close to you. The scenery is absolutely some of the best scenery in Colorado in my opinion! From the mountains, the pine trees, the sound of the creek, the chipmunks… it was amazing and breathtaking. The Cabin is just as he described it and as the pictures show it, it’s very nice rustic, warming, and peaceful. Pretty much anything that you may need, was there. From cookware, bathroom, accessories, linens, etc.. . So, if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway for just yourself, or you and your significant other with some amazing views, I highly suggest Ken’s Cabin! Ken and his wife are great hosts and try extremely hard to provide details of the area, places to see, places to go, hiking trails, etc.

Whitney's place is a wonderful option if you are looking to stay in Idaho Springs. The cabin itself is really nice and very comfortable - everything is super new and clean and good quality. It's also a super short drive into town, but feels remote. There is not a ton of outdoor space as you are kind of right off the road, but the back patio area is enclosed and a nice place for dogs. Whitney is very quick to respond to any questions you may have. I definitely recommend her place and would love to stay there again!

My wife and I spent the weekend, we went hiking in nearby parks, very cozy cabin, we really enjoyed it.

The setting was peaceful, private, and absolutely breathtaking - exactly what we were hoping for. The cabin was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with every little detail making our stay feel special. This place will always hold a special place in our hearts. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful trip. Cute and cozy cabin. The front porch is great. Looking at the pictures of the mountain doesn’t do it justice. You have to be there to take in the views and you can do that from sitting on the couch in the living room. Would for sure come back.

I took my 3 kiddos to see Pikes Peak and stayed in this awesome little cabin and we’ve already started talking about our next trip and how we want to stay here again. We fed a fox tater tots from 5 feet away and could’ve hand fed it if we had enough tater tots. Lol. Came back one evening and there was a deer standing right beside the cabin. We saw a deer almost every morning from the windows or the porch. Highly recommend this place, totally worth it!

The view was amazing! The home was well stocked with everything we needed. Host also very responsive and helpful. My kids enjoyed having their own space upstairs. We would definitely stay at this home again.

Stephen was wonderful, answering many questions we had before we even arrived. I have been to many AirBnB's and have never had a better experience communicating with the owner. He also includes a very helpful guidebook providing answers to pretty much any question you might have about the house and the surroundings. The A-frame house was rustic, immaculate, and cozy. Despite it's remote location, it was easy to find thanks to Stephen's directions, and if that's what you are looking for, this is the place to be. A++

This is a fantastic mountain home with a million dollar view. we rank it in the top 2 rentals we've ever stayed at and it might be #1. The owners are very friendly and responsive. The home is a 5 minute drive from a fantastic hike to St. Mary's glacier and 20 minutes from Miner st. in Idaho Springs where you will find great food and drink in a historic gold mining town. Finish your day's on the back deck in the hot top viewing blue sky mountain..🤩 You will love this place.

My wife and I had such a great time celebrating her birthday in Colorado. We stayed at this cabin that was warm, welcoming, and had just the right touch of rustic charm. One of the best parts of the trip was exploring Garden of the Gods… the views were stunning, and the scenery was something we’ll always remember. Between the quiet cabin and the beauty all around us, it was the kind of trip that really sticks with you. We’d go back in a heartbeat.

Lived it here. The cabin is set in a quiet setting and is just peaceful.
