We renovated it in the late1980's and it is recognised as a National Monument. The area we converted into the appartment for our guests, was originally used for storing the hay and straw for the animals winter fodder The house is surrounded by a large garden and uninterrupted view of the countryside.

I stayed two nights in Caroline's super cozy hen house and felt very comfortable from the first moment. Especially the fireplace and the cozy furniture as well as the very comfortable bed met my taste. Caroline was very kind and helpful and I didn't miss anything. Wonderfully grounding. I'll be back.

Everything was great in the accommodation, super great for our little son, who liked to play with the Schleich animals. The ideas for companies were really interesting. It is quiet and relaxed. So just right for someone who wants peace and quiet, but still wants to be in the next town in a few minutes to shop. The late check-out also means no stress in the morning.

Together with my brother, we stayed here for 2 nights. I've seen a lot of AirBNBs, but rarely as neat and clean as Silke's. We could also easily park the car in a private parking space and have been able to cook well in the kitchen, complete with oven and dishwasher. A good base for hiking and visiting places like Tecklenburg. Recommended! Tip if you are a musician: visit the large shop Musik Produktiv nearby!
