Super nice house and nice quiet location to relax and come down! We felt right at home and were totally impressed by the accommodation. Restaurants, grocery stores, bakers and a small beach bar in the vicinity and total idyll. Many beautiful hiking routes from the property even without a car. The house was super equipped and totally well coordinated. Every corner of the house invited you to relax. Felix and Holger were friendly, uncomplicated and quickly accessible. We definitely recommend it! Not unlikely that we will come again:)

Great place for larger groups on a weekend - everything there for cooking etc. Everything was clean. However, you should not expect great luxury.

We traveled with 5 people and 2 dogs from 3 directions to a family celebration nearby. It was a perfect place to stay and we felt very comfortable.

We had a wonderful short stay in the cozy wooden house of Norbert and Rabea. The two are very friendly. Everything went smoothly both in the previous communication and on site. We fully recommend the place. :)

We stayed on site for 3 nights in March 2025 and it was fantastic. Despite the "main" location (was less busy than some cul-de-sacs) it was quiet and idyllic. The neighbors were very friendly, the bakery right around the corner and the Dümmer See 10 min. by car. The furnishings are suitable for the house selected traditional and quaint. The two gardens were also a dream and we will miss them the most. Thank you for everything.

A beautiful place to find peace and unwind. We were able to relax here with our association but also work wonderfully. We have already been to one another twice. The weekend for next year is already booked. Fully recommend.

The kitchen was super equipped. Changing table, high chair and travel cot were available for the young children. The bunk bed is in the children's room and is less suitable for large adults. However, there are also houses with normal beds instead of the bunk beds, which we did not know before.

Thanks to the detailed information about the apartment and the check-in, we had a great stay and were able to fully enjoy our time. Our host answered all our questions very quickly. The description and photos match and we didn't miss anything. The location was great - just a few steps from the rehab and about 5-10 minutes' walk to downtown. We were even greeted at Christmas time with a chocolate Santa Claus. If we visit Bad Essen again, we will definitely choose this apartment again!

We were very pleased with our stay. The accommodation was very nice and modern. The kitchen was well equipped. You could make beautiful walks at Dümmer See.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. The location not far from the lake is great! There was nothing missing. We will definitely come back and can highly recommend it.

What a wonderful weekend we had, Sina's parents, Erika and Helmut, are very welcoming, helpful and cozy. Reception with "kaffee und Kuchen", every day the cozy tile fireplace was lit for us, homemade liqueur, fresh eggs on arrival.... Accommodation is complete and clean. Hereditary Willi greets you kindly. Lovely garden to relax in. Surroundings are beautiful, varied forests and peat areas nearby, lots of wildlife and birds spotted, beautiful walks made with our dog. Recommended !!

Overall a really perfect stay. The house was exactly as presented and hoped. Plenty of space, plenty of sleeping options, sauna, bathtub, great kitchen and and and... Sabrina also left the pool "open" so that we could take ice baths before and after each sauna session. Simply phenomenal and highly recommended. Note on the four star categories. Here I was extremely petty. The location is on a busy road and not in the countryside - it didn't bother us, but maybe you should know. The apartment was also super clean and tidy but of course you notice that people usually live in it. And that didn't bother us, but it's not a five-star hotel. As mentioned - I was now very petty, so I don't give out five stars everywhere! 😅 But overall highly recommended for six people!

We had a really great time here and will probably come back next year. The complete shelf is ideal for families.

We spent the holidays in Dissen and the apartment was great! Everything was well maintained, super furnished and clean. Tue communication was also very good.

I was Kunterbunt with my 3 year old son for one night. It was a super nice experience, we all grilled together and made stick bread. A great place to stay for both kids and adults. You can either cuddle socializing and animals or enjoy nature and the beautiful tiny house. We felt so warmly welcomed, we will be happy to come back!

We stayed in the bakery for five nights with our small child and felt very comfortable. The accommodation is very well equipped and lovingly and tastefully furnished. We were received in a very friendly manner. Bastian and Eva were always available and also spontaneously helped out with small things. At the same time, their support was very unobtrusive and you absolutely have the feeling of being in peace and for yourself in the little cottage.

Everything was as pictured, it was clean and everything worked out. Parking was available, the area is very safe. If you stay longer, consider that there is no freezer

The family welcomed us very warmly – we felt welcome from the beginning. The small cottage is lovingly furnished and equipped with everything you need. It was particularly nice that our child could watch the chickens running freely around the house. The surrounding area is ideal for bike rides, and the property is fenced towards the street, so our son could play carefree in the garden. We had a wonderfully relaxing time and can recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, nature and a family atmosphere.

We had a great stay at Michael's “cozy” place! The accommodation is furnished with a lot of love for detail, super equipped (kitchen, technology, light - everything is great!) and simply invites you to feel good. Especially nice: the large terrace and the huge garden with barbecue! Despite its central location, you are completely undisturbed and have the whole cottage to yourself. Michael is a great host: helpful and easily accessible. I found the personal YouTube videos in advance very helpful and likeable. All in all a really great place with character - we will be happy to come back!

We had an incredibly nice quiet break at this property, where our furry friend was also welcome. The immediately adjacent forest always invited you for walks. The space is well maintained and even had electric shutters and screens. We felt right at home. Tim and Stefanie are great hosts and we can highly recommend this beautiful house by the forest. Thank you for having us as your guests.
