The house was built in 1914. The spirit of the villa is a bit like a detached house and a cottage in the countryside. The personal log house is like the story of Pippi Longstocking, not everything is completely finished - but the atmosphere is atmospheric. Location near Sibelius' home Ainola. 1.5 km to the city center. Beach park nearby. 30 min by train to Helsinki. The area is old Järvenpää, the properties protected by the Finnish Heritage Agency and under renovation surround the property.

Jumbo shopping center and airport 15 minutes by car. Here you can spend nice vacation or stay in comfortable apartment during your business trip instead of a hotel. NOTE! Apartment has an air conditioning. Electric car charge possible from a schuko plug. If you come with dog/cat, please don't leave them alone in the apartment.

Countryside home near Nuuksio Forest

My place used to be an attic of a barn, but now it is a cozy home with everything you need for modern life. We are situated very close to Nuuksio National Park: mushroom and berry picking is possible close-by. With some luck you can see elks and deers from the terrace. The house easily takes four people, but with with sofas and additional mattresses, a few more. Pets are welcome, if they behave. Sauna is available upon request and for a 20€ fee.

Cute Cottage in Finnish Landscape

Cosy countryside cottage in the middle of nowhere. Cottage is located in same yard where the hosts home is. 15km to Riihimäki and 75km to Helsinki. Fully equipped kitchen with running water (both hot and cold water). Sauna in a separate building, built in 1930's. No shower there but traditional bucket shower works. Outdoor toilet. Four beds and one crib for baby. Good place for some hiking, biking and relaxing.

Cottage by a beautiful lake, in the nationalpark

Mökki sijaitsee Nuuksion kansallispuistossa kauniilla mäntyjä kasvavalla rinteellä, puhdasvetisen Ruuhilammen rannalla. Vihdin Gofkentälle ja Puuhaparkkiin on matkaa 11 km. Hirsinen päämökki on rakennettu 1950-luvulla. Uudempi pienempi hirsimökki on rakennettu 2012. Tunnelmaltaan molemmat ovat nostalgiset. Rannalla sijaitsee vuonna 1958 valmistunut puulämmitteinen, Reima Pietilän suunnittelema sauna.
