Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hydra

We only stayed one night, we wish we could have stayed longer. It’s a magical place in a peaceful village. Kaiti provides an incredible local guide - we were able to do a few of her recommended things during our quick stay.

the traditional stone house is a cosy family home with old world charm. We really enjoyed the view over the sea from the terrace and the great walks through the neighbourhood, to the harbour and on the surrounding hillsides. There were very good restaurants, cafes and bakers. Swimming in the sea was perfect. A very relaxing holiday!

Small slice of paradise, indeed. And though it's a 10-min drive from the port area (maybe less), it's quite easy to call a taxi to go there.

Spotlessly clean and airy apartment in Kaminia. Beautiful view from the kitchen window. Super close to several nice restaurants. Quiet and peaceful.

Valia's place is lovely. Inside has a very comfortable and well styled living space with everything you need and the bedroom and bathroom are also very good. The fan in the bedroom was essential and happily silent. The place has a large veranda that is ther perfect place to relax in the shade and there are additional places to sit in the garden that is shared with the other apartment and provide the best view of the sunset. Valia is a super host whose guide to the region is impecable - she has gone to a great effort to help guests find places to see, eat, and things to do. Taktikoupoli is very quiet which I loved and its an easy drive to beaches, supermarkets and other places of interest.

What do I say? The contact with Ileana was benevolent and super warm from the beginning. I felt comfortable with her right away. She sent travel recommendations in advance and constantly asked if she could help in any way. I found everything as described in the house. And it was really all to my taste. I would live in a similar way. I felt very comfortable there. Due to the road being busier than expected, it was sometimes a little louder due to the traffic. I didn't perceive it as extremely disturbing, but I noticed it, probably because I live in total peace. Ileana, I'd come back. Thank you for this charming house and you...

We had a fantastic time at Katerina's place. The apartment was clean, cozy, quiet and just 10 minutes away from Hydra's city center. Katerina was a super nice host, she gave us a lot of recommendations and was always reachable if we had any questions. The only con was the bathroom, because the shower curtain was a bit short so it didn't prevent water from spilling out on the floor and the toilet didn't always flush correctly. Overall I would still recommend it!

The accommodation is self matched all descriptions and photos. There is a private balcony but also shared spaces (that still felt private in many ways!) Location is a short walk from the main town but ideal to be away for any general noise. I slept comfortably and never felt that my needs were not met. Finally, the host and her daughter were undeniably one of the most catering, supportive and attentive hosts I’ve had. Their recommendations were exactly what I was looking for but Irene was speedy at replies, able to resolve any questions and was always on hand. The place will be in my heart!

I absolutely loved my stay. I was greeted with so much warmth and kindness by Vangelis who showed Nina’s home thoroughly to me and introduced Poros as an island. Nina’s home felt cozy and comfortable from the get go. I loved reading my book and overlooking the view from the balcony and having many restaurants at an arms reach. The hosts remained communicative all throughout my stay and helped me whenever I had some travel-related questions. I would recommend this airbnb to anyone visiting Poros.

We were only in Poros for one night, but George made us feel right at home. The room was neat and clean and just like the pictures. George recommended a local beach that was very nice and also a great local restaurant. The room is right on the waterfront with a sunset and yacht culture. This location is in the heart of Poros and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay!

We had two amazing days in Georgios apartment. The view from the balcony was mind-blowingly beautiful, overlooking the sea, mountains and picturesque town of Poros. The streets were full of friendly cats and whichever way we turned could be considered an artwork by itself. Georgios was quick to answer any questions we had and was an amazing host. I can highly recommended his apartment for anyone visiting Poros, if for a couple of days or a week. Thank you, and Skål!

From start to finish, our stay was absolutely brilliant. Marika was lovely and helpful for us throughout- altered the check in time due to our early arrival from the ferry. She left us bathing towels and Mats for us to use at the beach- we didn’t expect, but came in very handy. The flat was stunning- beautiful views from the window and front patio, literally a stone throw to the beach- incredible. The place was peaceful and In walking distance to the more lively areas around Skala. We loved our time here and would definitely recommend. Thanks for having us.

Konstantino’s place was perfect for us from every perspective. Great location, very comfortable, clean, with beautiful light and view from the small balcony. i had everything we needed. Konstantinos was very accommodating, responsive, warm and friendly. At his restaurant Veranda we had some of the best meals we ever had. wonderful service and delicious food! we can’t wait to go back soon!

We had a great time at Perdika! The house was perfect for our needs, spacious enough for 3 people. It was very clean and ready to be used. The best part was the balcony with an amazing view over the Perdika Marina, where we enjoy amazing sunsets. We were also walking distance from bakeries, supermarkets, and restaurants. The boat to Moni Island was super close by as well. Our host, Raphael, was very nice, prontly answering our requests, and suggesting some activities we could do in Perdika and in Aegina. We are super happy with our decision to stay here! Thank you to Raphael for the warm hospitality. We recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a calm, private space in a beautiful location!

Lovely flat in the perfect location! Even though we were right above the main restaurant area, it was quiet inside. the studio apartment felt spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting in the balcony in the evening, watching the beautiful sunsets over Aegina. Thanos was a pleasure as our host.

I will say that Agistri in November is very very quiet... there are no open restaurants but a small convenience store to be able to shop and a bakery... On the 1st day we were a little surprised but we discovered Agistri and its small villages nearby with pretty coves and nice walks to do. Desponia was very kind and provided the answers to our questions…. A nice stay but be careful village very quiet at this time... for those who like tranquility it's perfect... Bring back condiments if you stay several days and cook

Clean, comfortable, and easily one of the best views in Hydra. Just a 5-minute walk from the port, so everything is close and convenient. A peaceful and memorable stay — highly recommend!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at George's house. The house and rooftop were beautiful and extremely clean. George was very welcoming and readily available for information and advice about the island.
