Beachfront holiday rental in Hydra

We had a great time at Perdika! The house was perfect for our needs, spacious enough for 3 people. It was very clean and ready to be used. The best part was the balcony with an amazing view over the Perdika Marina, where we enjoy amazing sunsets. We were also walking distance from bakeries, supermarkets, and restaurants. The boat to Moni Island was super close by as well. Our host, Raphael, was very nice, prontly answering our requests, and suggesting some activities we could do in Perdika and in Aegina. We are super happy with our decision to stay here! Thank you to Raphael for the warm hospitality. We recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a calm, private space in a beautiful location!

Nikolas's house was everything I expected and more.. The location was about a 40 minute walk from the port, Nikolas sent instructions of how best to get taxi for when we arrived, but once we had tested the walk out the next day we decided it would be ok to walk back with our luggage for the return ferry. There was an amazing bakery about 5 minutes walk from the house and a supermarket with just about everything you may need. We were welcomed by Zoe with lemonade and her own olive oil and the fridge was stocked with water - lovely gesture. The house has everything there to enrich your stay and had a lovely personal touch to it. The local area was fairly quiet, beautiful peaceful beaches and quite a few eating places. Delicious breakfast at Odyssey, and evening meals at a couple of the beach front restaurants which were all good. The port area is much busier and has lots of bars, shops etc, but still has a peaceful aura. Beautiful place and I would return in a heartbeat! ❤️

Maria's place in Poros was a wonderful first landing spot for us in Greece for us. It is in a quiet neighborhood, in a very secure spot, inside an older apartment complex at the edge of the urban area so that one can sit on the back balcony and watch the many wonderful birds, the sunrise, moonrise etc. Its a small apartment but the balcony makes it seem expansive if ones likes to work and sit outdoors. Mattie and I and our small dog were there off-season and even in the fall the weather was amazing. Its a very short walk to two markets, a butcher, the beach, and several beach restaurants. Its a short and very pleasant walk to downtown Poros. We had a car but if we did not we would have rented motorbikes to get to the more remote beaches and tavernas. Maria was a very communicative host. We highly recommend Maria's place.

Very nice house with beautiful surroundings. Very clean! When we came we were warmly welcomed by Anna and generous gifts: fresh fruit, homemade marmelades, olivoil from their farm, wine and more. Good snorkling nearby, we saw a lot of fish, octopus and a big turtle. Everything was perfect! Thanks! Aja and Michael

This was a lovely stay. The house is private, located in a peaceful bay, with a gorgeous view to the sea. It is surrounded by beautiful nature. The sea is crystal clear. The beach is mainly pebbly, but there is a small stretch of sand to the left, which was excellent for kids. We had an amazing time in the water, making use of the canoes of the house. This place is a gem. The host was extremely friendly, helpful and professional.

Panos is a fantastic host, from the fresh figs and delicious orange cake waiting in the fridge for us on our arrival, to organising a local lady to come and do some cooking for us ( a great way to taste really delicious Greek food) to being on the phone when our car broke down and acting as a translator plus lots more. The villa is a real get away from it all location and just 8 mins drive from the local buzz of the local town. It was so good that we just didn’t want to leave. The views are fantastic and better than the photos in real life. There is lots to do around and about ,lovely little beaches, great restaurants and the boat taxi to Spetse is close by as well. I would definitely recommend and would love to come back again.

this is a great house. Views are spectacular, big and spacious, great beach area, quiet, private, this place has everything you need. The property manager was wonderful, nice to have a washing machine, and a 10 minute drive to lots of restaurants. they even have a refrigerator full of wine from a local winery available with reasonable prices.

We had the most amazing holiday. Balcony with view to the sea, beautiful sunsets, dolphins, choice between swimming in the sea(no beach) and swimming in the pool with sea water, beautiful decorated room, very good oven and kitchen essentials. 2 supermarkets and 2 bakeries 5 minutes walking distance with really good quality products: olives, feta cheese, goat’s milk yogurt, bougaza, nice fruits and vegetables. The village and restaurants are in 10 minutes walking distance( O Miltos has amazing food, especially the grilled fagri fish). We wanted a restful holiday, to enjoy the sea, the sun and the good food and Ilioperato was the perfect place for us. Our host, Kiria Rena, was so kind and helpful, made us feel so welcomed. We loved our mid-week stay at Mara's place. We drove from Athens and it was easy to follow the sat nav. The place is gorgeous and everything is in great condition. The view is so relaxing and beautiful we just spent our evenings looking at it. Thank you for having us, we will be back!

Perfect location for a private getaway. Great host, "Motorhome" is underselling the housing alot.

You can expect a very nicely landscaped complex with a pool. The house is clean and everything you need is available. The only small drawback: If you want to find a pure sandy beach you have to drive very far.

The house is super comfortable and even more beautiful than in pictures, and with a wonderful garden, pool, and views. The owners are very friendly, helpful, and hospitable. The beach next door is amazing, and the village very welcoming with its taverna and cultural offerings. All in all, the perfect set-up for enjoyable holidays.

Had a very lovely stay at Odyssey! All of the hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. Bbq on Wednesday was delicious, beach is nice (pebbles not sandy), lounge chairs are confortable. I felt very safe and well taken care of eof throughout my stay

Many thanks to Klelia and Anita, this wonderful house on Hydra was a magical home for us while we fell under the spell of this fabulous island. Such a beautiful space, so peaceful and perfectly located between the bustling port and gentle Kimini. We had a fabulous time!

Fabulous apartment, well equipped with many kitchen gadgets, spacious lounge, lovely balcony with sea views. No complaints. The apartment was a considerable distance away from Poros town, more than indicated on the Air B&B map. It is very close to Petros Beach which is our favourite beach with a great taverna behind so we were not too disappointed but it meant a long walk into town and a taxi back. This wasn't a problem for us but could be a deal breaker for others. In the age of computer technology I would think it an easy error to rectify.

Georgios' house is a fantastic place, in the middle of a large garden with lemon and orange trees and with direct access to the sea. The apartment is very nice, tasteful and individually furnished. But the absolute highlight is the large roof terrace with the wonderful view, where you can also endure the heat. A good tavern and a beach bar are just a few minutes' walk away.

The place is lovely. And cats stole our hearts!

Easy to find, right near the port so if you have a lot of luggage, it’s a very easy walk from the ferry. Close by to a bunch of great bars and restaurants (have a meal at Ostria!). Vicky was very responsive and helpful. A great location for one or two people.

3 nights at Secret Paradise were definitely too short. We really liked the well-equipped and perfectly furnished accommodation. We received recommendations for excursions, tavernas, etc. and we loved these as well. The place is perfect for disconnecting from everyday life - a more private location is hardly possible.

We spent 2 whole weeks in October in Mariangela's apartment, when the weather was still warm, but not too hot, and the water temperature was perfect (24-25 degrees). Our main goal was having a relaxing time and the apartment ideally fitted this goal. We received the key for access to a private beach, 100 meter from the home, so we went swimming almost every day, sometimes even twice. Other beaches were nearby. Notwithstanding our late arrival at 10 PM we were met cordially by Mariangela and her husband Michael. The refrigerator was filled with welcome gifts, such as wine, juice, bread and paté. Also there were lots of food supplies (coffee, tea, own olive oil, candies, crackers), all of which we were invited to use. Mariangela and Michael were very helpful and momentarily answered to all our requests. Michael even invited us for a private boat trip, which we unfortunately had to decline. We immediately felt at home in the apartment! Next time in Greece we will surely return here!

Maria is the very definition of the term "super host." In fact, Airbnb should create another category for someone like her who puts in such tremendous amounts of passion, care, and effort into hosting. We've stayed at other "super host" properties, but Maria goes so far above and beyond what others do that she is in a league of her own. She keeps the place spotless and has more than everything you might need, no matter how long your stay. You'll never feel like you have to do without anything or only have the bare minimum because she provides you with all of the touches of home. The apartment is in a fantastic location in Perdika, close enough to Aegina Town if you want to go, but also far removed from the touristy stores and restaurants if you want a relaxing island retreat. Maria herself is so kind and thoughtful and really takes the time to get to know you. She picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry, gave us a tour of Perdika, and even hosted us for wine and home cooking.
