It's quiet and peaceful here, and at the same time you get a taste of boating life. Bua is located next to the boat docks, so you can expect to meet people who are on holiday in their boats. There are swimming facilities on site with swimming steps at the end of the boat jetty. The surroundings consist of a lot of beautiful nature with forests, trails and mountains. You can arrive and have a car parked on the property, but if you have a boat then this is a connecting point for so many amazing excursions. You can easily go to Skjærhalden, Søndre or Nordre, Edholmen, Strømstad, Koster, Engelsviken or into Fredrikstad. A short trip can be to visit the different restaurants Hvaler Islands have to offer and a longer trip can be Grebbestad or Tønsberg and others.

The cabin is located 80 meters from the sea, and has a large sunny terrace with a gas grill. An annex has a modern bathroom with hot water and WC. The cabin has a nice garden and access to a large lawn for activities such as a trampoline, badminton, and volleyball. Tjøme is bike friendly and there is a bike path along the island and all the way to Tønsberg. A children friendly beach, a summer open bakery, and a cultural center is within few minutes walk.
