Family-friendly holiday rentals in Hvar Port

Our family’s stay at Žarko’s place in Rudina was incredible. We felt right at home during our two week stay. The town of Rudina is quaint and lovely and we felt very welcomed by the locals. With Stari Grad just a short drive down the hill, it was very easy to get to the market, bakery, or restaurants when desired while still enjoying the peace and quiet of the hills outside of town. Our children enjoyed many days and evenings playing in the beautiful gardens. Žarko and his family are lovely hosts and we will surely come back to visit again someday.

If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would! This is the nicest airbnb we have ever stayed in! We did not want to leave. We were amazed that Mirko came to pick us up from the ferry port and dropped us off when we checked out, too (saving us 2 taxi rides!). He and Zrinka were so responsive and provided great local recommendations. They provided plenty of towels, including beach towels, and had everything in the kitchen that I would have at home. The walk into town was a 15- minute beautiful stroll along the coastline. It was close enough to the city center to get there walking, but far enough away that it was quiet and peaceful. There's a market right down the street that worked great for getting breakfast and lunch supplies. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to Hvar!

This was the most beautiful place. The views were breathtaking and the apartment was spacious and comfortable. Edi was a great host and very accommodating. We fell in love with Hvar and if we ever came back, this is where I’d want to stay!

Natalie's place was great and met our expectations and more. We particularly liked the large balcony and other outdoor dining area, making an already large apartment super spacious. Very well equipped in every regard. It's also a lovely 15 minute walk around the bay to Hvar Town, so well located. Very peaceful, lovely spot and wonderful views. Highly recommend.

My whole family was obsessed with this place. The adults loved the beautiful scenery and the peacefulness and the kids loved the hot tub and the swings. The house is adorable and very nice and the views were even better than the pictures. We loved meandering around Humac and being close to so many interesting small villages to explore. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat on the island of Hvar, you will be hard pressed to find something better than Mario’s place.

By far the best Airbnb stay I've ever had! Josipa and her father were kind enough to transfer us to and from the Hvar town to the apartment (apartment is on a steep hill with steps). Josipa was really friendly and shared us some of her favourite restaurants and things to do on the island. The apartment was beyond incredible, the rooms were perfectly air conditioned and she provided lots of useful amenities including beach towels, slippers and a washing machine. The view was beautiful, you can see the Pakleni islands very clearly and Vis in the background. The hot tub was easy to use and fantastic in the evening. There were also plenty of furniture including sunbeds. The location was brilliant, it was only a 15 minute walk to a nearby public beach and was fairly easy to walk up and down to town in the evening, although be cautious during midday as there isn't much shade. There is also a supermarket about 15 mins away a few streets down. Great for couples or up to four people!

Maya, her son, and father are amazing!!! Very friendly and accommodating. We spent the most time here during our 2 week Euro trip. Fantastic views from the balcony and a great place to relax with lounge chairs and a table to eat at. Right on the water with a great walk down to the shore where you can jump right into the sea! Space was modern, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was SO nice. By far the nicest bathroom of anywhere we stayed. Maya's father took us out on his boat with his beagle. It was amazing. He knew the best spots, shared cool information/stories. It was a very authentic/non touristy experience. Maya let us borrow snorkel gear and that was beyond awesome because we snorkeled in the sea by the house but also on our boat trip which was truly special. She also provided homemade olive oil which was divine. WONDERFUL experience and stay.

Great little apartment, beautiful view on Hvar bay and Pakleni islands from the terrace. Everything as described and Maja is a great host. Highly recommend.

There was a parking space, and the host lived right next door and it was so nice to communicate. Very friendly, no noise, and the accommodation was so pleasant and nice. If I go to Hvar again, I want to visit again. The accommodation is really well-maintained. Toilets, bedrooms, and kitchens!!

Great stay at this property. Very good communication and responsiveness, the host responds quickly and gives very useful and practical information about the city. We had a very warm welcome. The accommodation is very well equipped, much more than mentioned, this is very nice. It is very clean and the host makes sure everything is going well. It's a very nice, quiet and beautiful place. We recommend 👍

A fabulous apartment which was perfect for us. Having your own beach shared with the other apartments was perfect. About 25 minute walk into Hvar. We had a lovely time - we are at the nearby pizzaria where the food and views were amazing. We visited mlini beach by water taxi which was great. The hotel next door does lovely coffee. Our favourite bar Falkos was about a 10 minute walk. So many restaurants in Hvar it’s hard to choose. Shop nearby with all basics. Nira is a great host and very responsive. Would recommend this place if you want a relaxing beach stay just outside of the busy town.

Lovely location - 15 mins walk from the center, 10 mins walk from the beach and a small supermarket just across the road. Ivana was very responsive and helpful through our full stay. Hvar is a beautiful island and I would definitely stay here again!

Quiet accommodation in a beautiful residence. 10-15 minutes from the city center.

I highly recommend this accomodation to anyone. We were super comfortable here and the balcony was Everything 🙌. The view and location is perfect. Car space right at your door. The bed was super comfy too. Kids were happy is a seperate room with the sofa bed. Very clean also. We will definitely return in future. The two Aircon’s are great. We Loved our stay 😊

Our host was incredibly kind and friendly. The accommodation was perfect, its equipment, comfort and everything else! We got the double balcony room, from where we could watch the most beautiful sunsets of our lives. The beautiful garden and the pool, whose water was also perfect, are especially captivating. The village itself is a small jewel box, literally an island of tranquility. It is absolutely suitable for rest and retreat. Larger cities are also within reach (only a slightly narrow and winding road leads there), but it is recommended to arrive by the smallest car, motorcycle or possibly bicycle, because it will be more comfortable.

We had the most wonderful stay at villa bella. The photos do not do it justice, it has the most breathtaking views. It’s so well priced seeing as it has the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen. The villa was completely spotless, spacious and so homely. We all really enjoyed our stay here. Filip is the most amazing host! I stayed with my grandparents, they arrived before me, Filip picked my grandparents up from the ferry and settled them in. He also went above and beyond, took them food shopping, helped them book taxis and the ferry back. He also met my husband and I at the ferry and helped us to a taxi. He was here early morning every morning to clean the pool. I was always asleep but my nan was normally up and she loved their little chats, she thinks he’s wonderful! He also brought croissants He is honestly so amazing and so kind and really goes out of his way to make sure everything is perfect.

Great Airbnb in Hvar, close to the harbour, restaurants and beaches. Really clean and useful to have a small kitchen in the apartment for breakfast! Nice pool area up a few steps from this apartment, great to lay for a few hours & chill. Doris and Tonko are great hosts and were very responsive.

Good position, away from the madding crowd. Generous sized room. Friendly host. Good cevapi and burgers 2 min walk around corner at Big Bang. Didn’t have to walk back into town

Linda and Ivo’ place is beautiful and was perfect for our family of four. Linda and Ivo really fit the bill when it comes to being super hosts - nothing was too much trouble and we really appreciated their warm welcome. They went above and beyond to help us settle in and make sure we had what we needed. We came without a car and found getting around no problem - the bikes were very useful and the boats regular. Ivo’s help getting to and from the port with luggage was much appreciated. The kids loved Brac - snorkelling and windsurfing was a hit. Very sad to leave…!

Not even sure where to start. Jelena’s home is simply amazing. The setting, the location, the amenities, the proximity to Bol (walkable) were all top notch. We’ve stayed in countless vacation homes in many countries and this one is among the best!

We enjoyed 5 nights at Sanja & Nicola’s place. Amazing pool and outdoor area with beautiful views. Indoors had everything you needed and was very cleverly designed. Our hosts were amazing very helpful & responsive which made the experience very stress free. It’s a steep walk to cottage which is harder work on a hot day but definitely worth it. Absolutely recommend if your travelling to Bol great value for money.
