We enjoyed our stay in Jon’s beautiful apartment. Right in the heart of Reykjavik, it had a splendid view and was walkable to lots of shops and restaurants. Jon was very responsive and easy to work with.

A very pleasant, bright flat in a quiet street. Just perfect! Everything was available, well furnished. Helga was always available and responsive. I would recommend this place!

We've stayed here twice now and again it's absolutely amazing, the scenery, the apartment, the host all amazing and nothing to complain about. one of the best places I've ever stayed at.

This was a perfect jump off point for exploring the area! Short drive in every direction for hikes and attractions. Sleepy little town with amazing views right out front. Loa was wonderful with recommendations and information. The home was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Me, my wife and our son stayed at Ingiberg’s place for 6 nights on our trip to Iceland. The apartment was very easy to find and we were able to park the car in the allocated bay (inside the garage). It is slightly outside of the main town but providing you don’t mind a walk (35 minutes) like us then it is not a problem at all. The apartment was nicely furnished and had everything we needed. Tv and sound system were great for the evenings. Ingiberg was very responsive on messages and even alerted us when the northern lights were on show. Would definitly recommend staying at the apartment to anyone visiting Iceland.

I don't know where to start. We were tired from an overnight flight and when we got to the apartment we felt so relaxed. Disa is a wonderful hostess and it was such a pleasure to have several conversations with her. She is so energetic and friendly. Skagafell was so comfortable to be in. Phenomenal bed, plenty of hot water and very nice temperature inside. Several times we saw horses go through and saw several herds as we approached our place. You can't go wrong renting this unique place.

New, well stocked accommodations with a gorgeous view. Underground parking was a huge plus. Some construction in the area and not much around. But the stay was absolutely perfect.

Thordis was an amazing host. Her apartment felt very homey and she provided clear and concise instructions on how to check-in and use the amenities. Her home is located on the coast which is very walkable to view the birds and wildlife throughout the area. We stayed in her home for 2 days to explore Reykjavik and the golden circle and felt that the location was a great starting point for both!

Bryndis and her family were wonderful hosts the place was close to some restaurants and the water. It is located in a peaceful section of Reykjavik and a great home base for activities around the capital. It is clean, spacious and the hosts were very responsive.

Such a wonderfully cozy place in a great location! We loved being able to see the Northern Lights from the hot tub after a long day of exploring on the Golden Circle. House was super easy to get to - close to everything, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. We were able to beat the traffic and walk to catch multiple sunsets at the Grotta Lighthouse. Host's directions were super detailed for any and everything one would need to know and they were very responsive when we did have additional questions.

Loved our stay here! It felt very cozy and homey, and the location was perfect-very walkable to everything in Reykjavik. For parking, we stayed in the alley out of the way of other cars and had no other issues. My one comment would be that the hot water smell was quite sulfuric, but I think that is true of most places in Reykjavik and surrounding it. Overall though, I would love to be back-the bed was super comfortable too!

The location of the house makes the views from the living room, the kitchen and bedrooms really spectacular and unforgettable. You love sitting and sipping morning coffee there, however there is so much to do and see in Iceland that you also don't want to sit there for too long :)) There is a nice Icelandic swimming pool, a few cute restaurants, fabulous walking paths and two supermarkets within a walking distance from the house. It's worth to mention that the house has all the equipment you need. Well, unless you need a washing machine or a dishwasher.. It's an old style house but makes really a pleasant stay.

What a great place. We really enjoyed our stay here. Lots of room for everyone and such a great location - not far out of the city but very peaceful and beautiful. The favourite of the Air Bnb's we booked for our Iceland trip!

Our 4 night stay in Larus’ Lakefront Villa & nearby attractions of the Golden Circle were one of the highlights of our trip-we highly recommend! His home is spectacular in every way, including a hot tub, sauna, a large living room/gathering space w/well appointed kitchen. Directly on a lake, without others in close proximity, it’s ideal for those that want to experience the splendor of this part of Iceland more privately. As a host, Larus goes above & beyond! We had brought some equipment to fish the river 100 yards away, but not small enough tackle. When we emailed him asking location of a tackle shop, after returning from a daily activity, we were surprised & delighted to find 2 more rods & 2 new trays of tackle appropriate for the trout in the river; giving 4 of our group the chance to do some fishing in Iceland. We had an amazing stay at Sigrún’s place..I stayed there with my 13 year old and some of his friends for a birthday celebration.the boys had such a great time with all the activities and space.they were very well entertained The house had an amazing view and was so peaceful. The hot tub was huge and always easy to keep at a good temperature Sigrún and gulli were super easy to communicate with and made us feel tight at home with all their clear instructions I would definitely stay here again, and I look forward to come back and visit again one day soon

We had a very comfortable stay & HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! Host: clear and thoughtful communication. The host made sure the place was well-prepared and comfortable for guests. Location: absolutely perfect for Reykjavík. The apartment is in a quiet, family-friendly building with peaceful views, and just a short drive from everything you need. It’s ideally located for daily hikes and provides easy access to highways—great for exploring Iceland without the hassle of city-center traffic. Also a convenient drive to the airport! The apartment: beautifully designed, nicely furnished, efficient, and minimalist. It had everything we needed: cooking utensils, appliances, dishes, washer/dryer, and a handy air-drying rack (an eco-friendly touch we appreciated). The entertainment area was cozy with a comfy couch and large TV. The bed was a bit snug but still very comfortable. A great base for anyone visiting Reykjavík & Iceland for nature, comfort, and calm!

It was a very beautiful flat, spectacular view and had everything we needed and more. The location is perfect to much of the tourist spots in Reykjavik and bus stop 4 is incredibly close which was so helpful. Otherwise, a few buses only stopped at 5 or 3 which are both easily walkable. As many others said, there were welcome snacks and drinks which was very thoughtful and above and beyond. Lots of cute restaurants across the street and downstairs within the same building. Would 100% recommend to anyone!

The Harbor Apartment was perfect to visit Reykjavik. It’s clean, comfortably furnished, nicely decorated, and wonderfully warm and inviting on a cold January visit to Iceland. The location was unbeatable, just across the street from the scenic old harbor and near plenty of excellent restaurants and steps from a small market for your daily needs. The host provided voluminous tips on getting around and responded quickly with a work-around when we discovered that the Internet network listed in the check-in instructions was down. We would definitely stay here again. Just one small caveat for light sleepers—the bedroom window is located next to the ground floor elevator and you can occasionally hear the voices of people coming and going, or stomping the snow off their shoes before they get in the elevator.

Rùnar’s home is perfect to rest after an icelandic adventure. It’s warm, comfortable and nice, with an amazing ocean view (we had the chance to contemplete an eruption too!) and good markets near by. There is a delicious little fish market too, at few steps. Reykjavìk is easily reachable by walking (half an hour) or with bus and Seltjarnarnes is a peaceful and welcoming neighborhood. Rùnar and his family are helpful and kind. Thank you for sharing your home!

Snorri and Svava’s Airbnb was so cozy, clean, and in a great location near the city and next to the water. They were so responsive and friendly! I would stay again!

Great place to stay really central.

I stayed here for about ten days, fantastic experience. Property exactly as described and as premium as it looks. Don’t worry about it looking over a street, the multiple layers of well sealed glass and insulation does the job. Hosts were incredible, responded at all times and especially when I had an issue in middle of night was notable. Kitchen had everything I could want plus the air fryer a nice touch. Bedroom with tons of storage and bathroom was great. If you’re here especially to go to Harpa convention center, it literally can’t be beat.
