Excellently located for short drive to most key attractions within the golden circle. Very quiet and away from the main towns so perfect for seeing the northern lights. Spacious modern house with everything we need. Dóróthea and Baldur were perfect hosts and very responsive. We must come back here!

Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place with a great view thats quiet and peaceful. We stayed here for 4 days on a girls trip and it was everything we wanted-- being able to unplug and disconnect was fantastic. The hosts were super responsive and provided lots of easy to follow instructions for check-in/out and during out stay answered any questions we might have.

We had a magical time at Sabrina’s cabin! Sabrina was incredibly helpful, kind, and responsive. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed as well as close to many sights. We saw the northern lights from the cabin our first night! Unforgettable :) Book it!!!

Árni’s cottage was a wonderful place to stay as part of our recent Iceland vacation. The setting is stunningly beautiful and the cottage is perfect in every way - very cozy, peaceful and lovely to sit at the dining table, drink coffee and enjoy the view. Location is great, very easy check-in and check-out, and the host is a delight to communicate with and provided great recommendations (hvammsvik is wonderful!). Would love to return on a future Iceland visit! 5 stars!!

This cottage has a wonderful view of the lake. It was very comfortable for four adults and a toddler. We were at peace listening to nature and watching the lake. The host was very communicative and helpful. The location is very close to the Golden Circle's must-see locations. The closest town was an 8-minute drive and had great local restaurants. I highly recommend this stay.

Jón has a very nice house with a lot of beautiful things to visit nearby. The house is very private and relaxt for a small group (we were with 4 people) Instructions on how to find the house and some recommendations were send up front which was helpful.

Good tiny home that we used as a base camp to go exploring Iceland from during our week there. Fits the description and photos. We saw wonderful northern lights right above the house !

Stunning view. A classic A-frame cabin. Soooo quiet and peaceful. Peaceful. Easy to walk to the restaurant and if you choose, walk to the little communities nearby, including farms and the local church. It's a cabin in the golden circle. Don't be a jerk. Appreciate. We are all lucky to experience this. And if you ask a question, Jake ANSWERS you almost immediately. But really... the porch overlooking the valley... and the AMAZING outdoor shower with hot water from the local geothermal station. SHUT UP if you don't appreciate how special this is. Therapeutic. Ahhhhhhhh. We stayed up late and saw the northern lights. Doesn't get better for peace and authentic. Thanks Jake!!!! 😁

Our stay was perfect. The cabin was great and exactly as shown in the pictures. The place was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances for a small kitchen. Eggert was quick to respond and check-in was easy and smooth. Great overall experience and would definitely recommend this place.

Gudny's place was amazing and the photos didn't do it justice. My family of 5 were very comfortable. We loved the updated bathroom and use of the hot tub.

Very peaceful and homely cabin in beautiful surroundings. Svanna is very helpful and the cabin is well kept and cosy. Rural location - we were lucky enough to catch the northern lights 4 nights in a row! Would happily stay again, thank you ☺️

Amazing, very clean, very comfortable cabin with a fantastic hot tub situated in a secluded neighbourhood with great views. We loved our stay and can’t recommend it enough.

It was a lovely stay. Everyone was very polite and friendly and helpful!

The cabin was a peaceful retreat in Fluðir! Close to Minilik and the mineral baths, with a well equipped kitchen. We had one small issue with check-in (our fault), and Asa very quickly helped to resolve it.

We had a wonderful stay here! The view is so beautiful - we loved walking along the beach and taking in the views. Watching the seal in the water, the birds and all of the little sea creatures at low tide was a treat. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and was well-stocked. The beds were comfortable as well. We loved relaxing in the hot pot in the evenings while enjoying the view and listening to the birds! The area is amazingly beautiful. We loved to drive around the fjord - and even spotted a whale 2 different times! The hosts are very friendly and easy to communicate with. They were very responsive and helpful with the couple of questions that we had. I highly recommend staying here!

Perfect stay in every regard. This place is a special little slice of paradise in Iceland. Very obviously well cared for, and well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. The setting and the views are just spectacular. The extra time and effort required to get here are absolutely worth it. My family did not want to leave. Of the many rentals we’ve stayed in over decades of extensive travels this goes on a short list of one of the best.

We stayed with our two adult children for hunting some northern lights. The accommodation was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. A true recommendation if you look for a private, clean, quiet and modern stay with stunning views. Ragnar was always available and a helpful host.

Iceland was magically beautiful. And Guðfinna's accommodation was the best thing that could happen to us to explore the west of the country. It was quiet and very, very cozy. We had everything we needed and the little cottage was the perfect base when we came back from our excursions in the evening. The sheep and horses that we could observe very closely were particularly charming. A highlight was getting to know Guðfinna personally and her three dogs. She gave us very good tips during the stay, especially when there were weather warnings. We are very grateful that we were allowed to be guests here and would come back at any time if the little cottage in the fjord is free.

Amazing location, beautiful, elegant, cozy, warm cottage with magical nature all around. We had a restful, regenerative vacation, truly enjoyed the lovely hot tub and the wonderful cottage. Quiet (except for many lovely birds, that were such a joy to watch) and remote, yet perfect for trips to many amazing sights. Linda is a generous and kind host, who answers messages immediately and is always helpful when there is a question. We look forward to coming again hopefully soon! Thank you so much, dear Linda! :)

Stefan's place is simply wonderful! It's located basically at the beach front (featuring cute, curious seals that say hello every now and then) with a stunning view of the sea and the surrounding hills. The interior feels incredibly warm and invited us to cook, read, and hang out during the sometimes not-so-warm June weather we encountered here. Bed is comfortable, the outside is rather spacious, and the hot tub is super cozy and makes you feel warm when the temperature is not. Stefan was very responsive, everything went super uncomplicated. Thank you again, Stefan, for these wonderful days at your beautiful place!
