Local regular boat with possibility for island hopping (free!), ferry to Strømstad, several beaches and great hiking trails. Possibility to rent dinghy/boat by appointment

"Bua" in maritime surroundings!

Welcome to "bua" at Hvalstrand marina! Bua is a lovely little cabin located at Hvaler's perhaps most charming marina. It's quiet and peaceful here, and at the same time you get a taste of boating life. Bua is located next to the boat docks, so you can expect to meet people who are on holiday in their boats. There are swimming facilities on site with swimming steps at the end of the boat jetty. The surroundings consist of a lot of beautiful nature with forests, trails and mountains. There is sun from morning to evening on two terraces. - Sleeps 10 (5 bedrooms incl. the living room in the annex), and with possibilities for 3 beds on a loft. - there is running water, bathroom with toilet, shower and washing machine with drying function. - Space for 2-3 cars in a private parking space. - Boat (14 ft with 15 hp engine) can be included by agreement.

Large living room with open-plan kitchen. Very sunny and sheltered. Parking on the property. Three bedrooms, one with a 180 cm bed, one room with a bunk bed (2 sleeping places) and a room with a 120 cm bed. There is no running water at the cabin. Water is available from a cistern that is filled by rain. Drinking water is available in the cabin. Cinderella incineration toilet. For the children: Trampoline, sandpit, private tree house with slide, zip line. Remember to bring your own bed linen/towels.

The cabin is located in a quiet cabin area on Kirkøy, Hvaler. Short walking distance to Skjærhalden, town and approx. 30 min from Fredrikstad. The property has sun from morning to evening, with several nice outdoor areas. Choose between sun or shade, depending on your preference. The cabin is conveniently furnished and easy to keep tidy. Everything is easily accessible, both during your stay and for cleaning on departure. This is a place for quiet and pleasant stays. NB! This is NOT a party cabin!

Holiday apartment by the lake, Hvaler

From this apartment centrally located on Hvaler, you have immediate proximity to the lake and great archipelago nature. At the marina there are guest places for boats for a fee (guests must check for availability) This is an excellent starting point for paddling, surfing or other water sports activities. Ytre Hvaler National Park, with great hiking areas and coastal trails, is about 1 km away. There is also a small sandy beach 100 m from the house. There is a kiosk, restaurant and marina in the area.

Seaside cabin with a large jetty

The place is perfectly located between Fredrikstad, Halden, the Swedish coast and Vestfold. You can arrive and have a car parked on the property, but if you have a boat then this is a connecting point for so many amazing excursions. You can easily go to Skjærhalden, Søndre or Nordre, Edholmen, Strømstad, Koster, Engelsviken or into Fredrikstad. A short trip can be to visit the different restaurants Hvaler Islands have to offer and a longer trip can be Grebbestad or Tønsberg and others.

Great guest house/annex only 30 meters from the sea. Great bathing opportunities, road all the way up. 10/15 min to shops and restaurants in Skjærhalden. The guest house consists of a mini kitchen, dining area for 4 people. Loft with 3 mattresses and sofa bed in the living room. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Possibility to borrow laundry room located in the guest house with own entrance. Private patio outside the annex. Good sun conditions.
