Lovely little cottage with beautiful outdoor area!

Nancy’s place was balm for my soul. We were there for my brother’s funeral and the beautiful, peaceful surroundings were very soothing. The pictures of the inside of the cottage do not capture its charm and coziness. The property is stunning. There are lots of toys and games in the cottage. We were sorry we did not have better weather to enjoy the beautiful covered porch and outdoor firepit. We were thrilled with the turtles, beavers and blue heron. Nancy and Don were warm and welcoming and took the time to orient us to their home and area. Lovely couple. This was one of our very best Air BnB experiences and we will definitely return.

Our stay was amazing. The amenities available to are too many to list. The home is extremely comfortable, clean and fun! The hosts are truly welcoming and accommodating. They made sure the driveway was clear of snow before our arrival which was very much appreciated. We will definitely be staying here again.

Myself and my family loved staying at Jaroslav’s place! The interior was spotless and the location was great, only a short drive to the beach. It was a lovely property, which offered a peaceful get away from the city! I also loved how Jaroslav had a parks pass that we could use to go to the Pinary Park. The house was well stocked with thoughtful items that you may have forgotten to bring along with you. Overall our experience was great and we can’t wait to visit again! Oh and we also got to see lots of humming birds!

Great experience staying at this cottage. It is by far one of the nicest places on the Huron Shores. The view is spectacular through the huge windows. The house was spotless and clean, and very well appointed. Looked like it was out of a model home. Well stocked with games and things to do. Clean kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms. We had a great and relaxing time. Would definitely recommend this cottage. We will absolutely be booking again.

Lovely private place nestled in the trees. Small, but ideal for us as a couple. Nice kitchen, very comfortable bed. Access to a large swim spa, which was perfect on a chilly March day. The host, Linda, was very kind and helpful. Keep in mind that there's no wifi and the cell coverage is spotty. Not a problem if you're there to get away from it all, like we were.

The host was very accommodating and helpful, promptly addressing any questions we had about the place, even coming by to show us how to use the TV. The house is modern, with a spacious and private backyard, offering a peaceful atmosphere.

My friends and I had a great time staying at South Shores. Logan was a great and helpful host and it was a about a 20 minute drive to the beach. Thanks for having us!

We had a very pleasant stay at this place. It was a family trip with kids and pets, and everyone had a great time. The house is beautiful, with plenty of space to enjoy together. We loved the pool and jacuzzi, and our dogs were also very comfortable throughout the stay. Logan is an excellent host—very attentive and welcoming. The atmosphere is peaceful and perfect for relaxing and spending quality time. One thing to note is that we did notice some ants in the common areas, and a few of us got minor bites, but nothing serious or concerning. Overall, we loved the place and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Wonderful place to stay with lots of extras. Everything was thought out of what we may have needed. We felt very comfortable and right at home. We were served a full breakfast made by Charlene, and her hospitality was over the top!!! We will come again in the future.

If I could leave an infinite amount of stars I would. My boyfriend and I had an incredible stay and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Wendy is a fast, reliable, and great communicator. We were welcomed with a homemade charcuterie board, wine, and it was so appreciated after a long drive. Her and her husband are some of the most down to earth and genuine people I’ve met, and we are grateful for their kindness and hospitality. They are super knowledgeable about the area and had plenty of recommendations and suggestions so we could make the most out of our trip. The neighbourhood is safe and was easy to locate. The space was clean, easy to navigate and everything we could have needed was provided. We felt at home and never wanted to leave. Signing the guestbook on the way out was a sweet end to an amazing weekend - definitely hope to be back soon! Our first time in Bayfield was a treat and we will remember this weekend forever ❤️ Thank you Wendy and Rocco x

Beautiful 2 bedroom lower apt in Wingham Ontario, with perennial gardens and gentle slope to bank of Maitland River. The Repose is aptly named, offering a private, peaceful and well-appointed space close to shopping, restaurants and just minutes away from Blyth for theatre lovers. I highly recommend Roxanne and Mitch’s place for anyone travelling in the area.

Truly, one of the best places I have stayed. Pictures do not do justice to the beauty, character, integrity of this sanctuary. Henry was the ultimate host, as he ensured we were comfortable, always had a fire if we needed, accomidated our desires for walks and enjoying the water. The cabin is perfect and lacked in nothing. The wifi is a strong connection, should that matter for others. We loved it and plan to return. Such a healing place of beauty.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and spacious home! Our family of 8, ranging in age from 3 to 60, felt completely comfortable and at home from the moment we arrived. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable family getaway. The grandkids especially loved the toys and play areas—it made a big difference having a space where they could have fun while the adults relaxed. We had plenty of room to gather, laugh, and create lasting memories as a family. It’s not always easy to find a place that works so well for a group of all ages, but this home exceeded our expectations.

Spent a couple of nights at the riverside. It was peaceful, calming, and had everything we wanted! The bunkee was comfortable and cozy, very private. Outdoor kitchen was a cool feature! Definitely a special place, thank you Elizabeth!

Thoroughly enjoyed a long weekend at this beautiful, cozy, private and peaceful log cabin. Everything you could ever need is available at this property, and our host Susan was incredibly accommodating, friendly, helpful, and responsive. Beautiful, quiet area, short walk to the amazing beach, and hiking/walking trail very close by. Highly recommend this wonderful property for a relaxing getaway!

We had a lovely weekend celebrating my husband’s 39th birthday. It checked everything on our boxes: private, in nature, amazing views, sunsets and listening to waves at night. It’s so peaceful, truly a magical charming cottage. Thank you for sharing it with us! Hosts do a great job at describing the cottage, so if you don’t like spiders, or walking up/down 70 steps don’t choose this cottage however for us it didn’t bother us at all. We actually enjoyed it and it added to the wonderful feeling of escaping from the city - into your own private retreat, to unwind and enjoy the simple things in life. Thanks again!

My two children and I greatly enjoyed our stay at Peter and Sandra’s cabin! My pre-teen was very intrigued with the interior design and how the bedrooms, bathroom, and living room fit into such a small space. My teenager loved fishing and swimming in the lake just down the road. Both children enjoyed the outdoor space for playing and kicking their soccer ball around in the grass. I loved the view from the porch. We all enjoyed the campfire in the fire pit. There were plenty of dishes, pillows, towels, comfy chairs, etc. Everything we needed there!

Shelly's place was exactly what we needed for a weekend away! The cabin was warm and cozy when we arrived and the wood burning stove kept us toasty for our whole stay. The bed was super comfortable and we loved exploring the surrounding woods with our dogs. It was so nice to be able to relax and unwind in the quiet woods, and yet be near Goderich to explore the multitude of locally owned shops and restaurants. We're looking forward to returning here in the future!

Therese and Jim were awesome hosts and their property was amazing. Everything was as expected and our time there was awesome. Highly recommend this for any large group.
