The RR winds through tunnels and trestles along the south border of the park and was originally the only way to visit Glacier. Light sleeper could have problem with the train noise. The views are spectacular as you can enjoy 360 degree views of the valley, Flathead Lake, Glacier Park, The Swan Mountains, Blacktail Mountain and the big skies and stars of Montana. The only land in between our farm and the lake is a waterfowl preserve. Plenty of wildlife on the property and it is a wonderful spot to enjoy Flathead Valley.

Cross country skiing from cabin, many quiet lakes in the area, Murray Lake perfect for paddleboards. With downtown Whitefish so busy, you will enjoy the tranquility. There are two brand new A-Frames next door that share some outdoor spaces and a cabin as well. You can book all 4 for large family events or just the house for privacy.
