Bara bada bastu and mind rest! Traditional Finnish cottage from the 50s in Vihdi Huhmarjärvi, 38km from Helsinki. The cottage is on the water line and the balcony is on the water. A wonderful, newly renovated log sauna with gentle steam. No neighbours right next door. The cottage is not suitable for small children or people with limited mobility, as there are big height differences and stairs. There is no mains supply or sewer in the cottage. There may be algae in the lake at some point in the summer, but you can get clean water from the borehole in the house

Beautiful newly renovated cottage and large sloping plot on the shore of the clean Storträsk lake. The yard is a quiet and scenic place to spend a holiday, where the neighbors are not within sight. From the terrace you can admire the lake landscape or forest life. The sauna is right next to the beach, you can go rowing or fishing by boat or paddle board. Even in winter, you can always go swimming. In the yard, you will find, for example, a gas grill and a charcoal grill, as well as a campfire place. Bed linen and towels are included.

Countryside home near Nuuksio Forest

My place used to be an attic of a barn, but now it is a cozy home with everything you need for modern life. We are situated very close to Nuuksio National Park: mushroom and berry picking is possible close-by. With some luck you can see elks and deers from the terrace. The house easily takes four people, but with with sofas and additional mattresses, a few more. Pets are welcome, if they behave. Sauna is available upon request and for a 20€ fee.

Cottage by a beautiful lake, in the nationalpark

Mökki sijaitsee Nuuksion kansallispuistossa kauniilla mäntyjä kasvavalla rinteellä, puhdasvetisen Ruuhilammen rannalla. Vihdin Gofkentälle ja Puuhaparkkiin on matkaa 11 km. Hirsinen päämökki on rakennettu 1950-luvulla. Uudempi pienempi hirsimökki on rakennettu 2012. Tunnelmaltaan molemmat ovat nostalgiset. Rannalla sijaitsee vuonna 1958 valmistunut puulämmitteinen, Reima Pietilän suunnittelema sauna.
