Cottage holiday rentals in Hudson River

The Artist Cottage was a great secluded retreat. We loved how charming and cute the place looked. The colorful decor and charming antiques in the cottage made it feel special. The amenities were well taken-care of and we especially loved the hot tub, the outdoor fireplace, the spacious lodge, and the large, modern soaking tub. We enjoyed hanging out in backyard, where we could listen to numerous birds while sitting by a little waterfall in the morning. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. It was just a short walk from some nice hiking trails and we loved that it was only a short drive to town. Overall, we highly recommend this stay!

Highly recommended — especially for families with young children! The property has everything you could need, and there’s even a charming farm nearby (just be sure to check their hours in advance). The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The house was spotless and had such a welcoming, positive energy. With so much land to explore, you truly don’t need to leave the property if you bring your own food and supplies. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely book again in the future!

We had a GREAT time at Feyza’s cabin. It was clean, quiet and exactly as described. We especially loved the secluded setting, the lake views and the jacuzzi. Feyza was helpful, communicative and very responsive. Her digital guidebook was very insightful as to the local attractions and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time! Everything was thought of in this space. We especially enjoyed the opportunity to be outdoors and the proximity to the park. I'm not sure if this jumped out in the listing, but the place is walking distance to the Children's Museum which was perfect for us, as I had take the car for a work event and left my husband and 3 year old to explore the museum, and they could easily walk home to the cottage. Perfect, modern yet cozy cabin. The aesthetic was beautiful and was fully stocked with everything you could need. The neighbors are close but we never saw them. Maybe because we came up before the season picks up. We utilized all of Bilen's local recommendations. We loved the Local Table & Tap. Beautiful views. We also took a drive to Upward Brewing which was phenomenal. Keeping this Airbnb in my go-tos. Couldn't be happier :) Perfect for nature lovers.

I wanted a weekend getaway for my son’s 13th birthday that landed on Friday the 13th, I came across this cabin airbnb and decided to book and give it a try. this location is an hour away from our home and gave us that peace of paradise we were looking for. the cabin felt like home and had everything you can possibly need. I honestly wish I can give higher than a 5 star because this cabin was perfect. I’ll be booking again for a winter weekend getaway. thank you for hosting my family and I.

Our stay was fantastic! The cabin was clean, comfortable and cozy. There was obvious attention paid to the little details that make a trip extra relaxing. I don't think that there was anything that we wanted that wasn't thought of and ready for us. We booked our stay with the intention of disconnecting and unwinding& we were able to do exactly that. The property is absolutely magical! There was an endless amount of beautiful flowers and wildlife with a winding river. Our favorite part was relaxing on the deck watching the deer and birds. The customer service couldn't have been better. They went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. we definitely recommend & plan to return for a longer stay!

We loved the place, it was a beautiful home with lots of light and accessible green space. It was perfect for a short getaway. It’s a short drive from nearby towns and was very easy to find based on the directions. Mark was a responsive and accommodating host and we had a wonderful time in his airbnb.

Great stay at Jasmine’s well furnished, rustic feel cottage. Peaceful location but just a quick ride to Woodstock, Kingston and Rhinebeck. Pool was perfect - we used it everyday. Heat bathroom floors is a nice touch!

My stay was super nice, even with the rain. My fur baby and I had a great time. The cottage is very cozy and offers an immense sense of peace. My fur baby's favorite part was the backyard. We spent most of our time playing fetch. Chloe is super friendly. I will visit the cottage again.

It was an incredible experience. My family, my two dogs, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our wonderful and attentive host, John, who helped us carry our bags and belongings to the cabin. The house is a cozy 1930s cottage, nestled on a hill in a green meadow, offering peaceful views in a pristine and tranquil setting overlooking the Delaware River which was directly in front of the house. The house features beautiful antique furniture, a well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds. We especially liked that the house was dog-friendly. It was a haven for them! It was amazing to see marmots, deer, eagles, and birds of various species, which were all part of our enjoyment. We will definitely consider staying here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and be in touch with nature. Beautiful place to stay! Kitchen well supplied for cooks. Comfy, big couch. Sound of the river at night. Cute little town. Peace and quiet on the edge of the woods. Great for dogs and humans. Lucy is VERY responsive to any questions. HIGHLY recommended. My wife requested a return visit before we even left.

We had a great stay over Easter weekend at James' cabin. It's on the small side but was perfect for the getaway my wife and I had planned. There is a 2nd bedroom that would have suited usl if we brought our kids or went with a 2nd couple, but we were glad for the extra room. I will add that the photos don't really do justice to the space. During the day, the cabin is particularly beautiful, the high ceiling filled with light and views of the surrounding forest and mountains. We saw owls, wild turkeys and an array of other birds. The site is very private - there are neighbors, but a good way off, though we enjoyed meeting them on our walks. James is a thoughtful, friendly and detail-oriented host, with a thorough guidebook full of great local recommendations. We know the area a bit and can say his suggestions are spot on (we particularly enjoyed our visit to the Fat Crow). I also recommend a stop at Duttons, and for easy views, a short drive to the top of Newfane Hill Road.

Booked this peaceful cabin with a beautiful view for our 26th anniversary. I specifically was searching for a hike with waterfalls then found this Airbnb close by. I loved it!! It was clean, cozy and peaceful. I also love taking pictures as a hobby and the view was awesome! It rained the weekend we were there so no sunset pictures but maybe next time! Also got to visit the Sweetwater Distillary which was an added plus. I will definitely be taking the drive back there. I loved learning the history of the original owner right down to the current owners who were awesome!! I would not hesitate to stay at this place again!!

this was the most beautiful property I have ever seen. the cabin was awesome. you sit out on the porch and can hear the babbling brook, and hear the bird. Jamie is very kind

Such a beautiful location! My boyfriend and i loved our stay at Matthew’s airbnb. The lake is stunning and we had a great day kayaking. Would definitely book again!

Lori’s place was everything listed ,and more !!!! We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the surroundings, the cabin was adorable, and access to the boat ,and kayaks was awesome!!! My husband and daughter enjoyed the fishing , and my son enjoyed his daily walks. I personally enjoyed sitting on dock , or the screened in porch enjoying a good book!!!! I usually stay in village of New Paltz so was a little apprehensive staying a bit outside of village. But I actually now prefer the situation as it's not that far to all the action and the cottage is amazing, which more than makes up for the minor driving inconvenience. Highly recommend!!

We've stayed at Jenna's home a few times. Each of our visits have beeen wonderful. Her home is pristine, extremely comfortable, and very well thought-out for easy use by guests. The kitchen is very well equipped. Things like thoughtful labels on light switches, quality linens, very comfortable mattresses, nice towels, a complete lack of clutter while still being thoughtfully decorated, always makes us feel very comfortable in this space. The area is very peaceful and quiet. We will gladly continue to return!

Our stay at this lovely cottage was peaceful and comfortable! A beautiful and simple space perfect for our getaway from the city. Anthony proactively made sure we got in okay and had all the information for checkout. Would definitely come back to this place!
