Great place to stay. Nice village with a good pub that serves great meals. You just need to know where to look for the entrance to the apartment which is tucked to the side of the last unit. We did wander around a little in the dark looking for no 7! Once we found it, the rest was easy!

We had such a lovely stay! The house was massive! Such a big space it felt better in person. The house was extremely clean with a modern kitchen, a cosy living room and a massive bed it was everything we wanted and more. The host were extremely helpful and friendly, it was lovely and quiet and I felt super safe staying there. It’s in a great location and I will definitely be returning!

A lovely stay here, great base for exploring the Lake District national park and we made the most of our two nights! Keswick is not far so we did catbells (again, it’s just one of my favourites) and we got up in the middle of the night to go climb Blencathra for the sunrise this morning! Always drive home planning our next trip back to the lakes and would recommend this accommodation to anyone. Comfortable, clean, Martin was so helpful with instructions and the flat had everything we could need. We fell in love with the farm cats and the cutest calves! Thanks ever so much Martin

We had an excellent stay here, comfortable and cosy. The home is beautifully decorated, the kitchen was well stocked of essentials, crockery and cooking equipment. The bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms were clean and tidy - it was very useful having the 2.5 bathrooms for the 8 people. The location was great in terms of the views in the valley and near to the lake. Being close to Pooley bridge was also helpful, as well as being close to Penrith to get the food shop. The single lane road was a bit tricky to maneuver at times but nothing too ordinary for a quiet spot in the lake district. The service from Laik was great, very useful instructions and quick responses. Some proper outdoor seating would have been good to watch the lovely lambs from but apart from that, we would stay again.
