Great weekend stay over. Beautiful ,peaceful surroundings. The cottage is situated on a herbal farm. Very clean & neat. Well equipped, fresh clean linen and towels. Warm water, internet, books everything you need . Lovely essential room, mozzie and soaps provided such a nice touch. Safe environment for todlers. Thank you Kirsten for being so friendly & welcoming. Best host we have ever met. ..sharing your little haven with us ...feast for our senses.

Our group of 6 stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The place has all the amenities needed for a peaceful weekend away and Louise is an attentive and kind host.

Incredible place to stay. Located in the valley this is the PERFECT spot for a quiet weekend. The soundtrack of the river is magical. The house also came with complimentary farm bread, eggs, butter, marmalade. Genuine nespresso podsi were a bonus, if you were so inclined there was an Xbox too play on as well. There were also two beautiful dogs who visited in the property. The bathrooms were spacious and immaculately clean. The kitchen contained all the equipment you could ask for. There is a great restaurant about 2km's down the road that makes great food too. Overall, a place we will definitely book again in the future.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Forest House on 20 Arlington Drive, Hilton. The property is nestled in a serene, lush forest setting — peaceful, private, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The home was clean, beautifully furnished, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Darrell the caretaker, was warm, responsive, and made check-in seamless. Thoughtful touches like fresh towels and quality linens made us feel right at home. We especially enjoyed the outdoor deck overlooking the trees — ideal for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. We would highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for tranquility and charm in Hilton. Can’t wait to return!

Enjoyed the stay, the surroundings were beautiful and peaceful and getting the option to swim and use the tennis court was a bonus. Place was clean, ideally served our purposes and we really enjoyed the complimentary items left by the host (coffee and rusks etc).

What an amazing host, beautiful property and just what the doctor ordered for quality rest and family time... I am happy to say, we have found our home away from home at Valley View...

Enjoyed my stay in Howick. The place was clean, cosy, and comfortable. Easy check-in. Everything was well-organised and made for a relaxing experience. Would recommend it and will visit again.

We loved this flat. It was extremely quite at night. beds were so comfortable and the place as a whole was amazing. It was the first AirBnB that had proper wine glasses, big coffee mugs and amazing crockery. The airfryer, salt, pepper and all the small little touches makes this the perfect choice when you have to stay over if there is a function at Maritzburg College. I highly reccomend this amazing property.

Great place, lovely hosts. She was patient, understanding and generous with me. I went there for the purpose of studying and going to write my exams... It was the perfect privacy I needed. Love the electric blanket for keeping me warm.

I had a wonderful experience at Susan's Airbnb. It's very clean, spacious and great value for money. It looks better in person than in the photos and it's very clean and tidy. Communicating with Susan was easy, however at times her responses were delayed due to poor signal etc. Overall, I'd definitely stay there again in future.

A Perfect Peaceful Getaway I recently stayed at this beautiful place in the middle of nowhere, and it was exactly what I needed. The cottage itself was charming, cozy, and thoughtfully furnished, with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Whether it was enjoying a morning coffee on the porch, or stargazing at night without any light pollution—every moment felt special. If you're looking to disconnect, recharge, and soak in some peace and quiet, this is the place. I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already dreaming about my next visit. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Doni’s place in Howick. The accommodation is clean, beautifully styled, and incredibly well located—perfectly central for exploring the area. Doni is an outstanding host: friendly, responsive, and welcoming, which made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. The space is thoughtfully designed and very affordable, offering excellent value for money. While the bed/mattress could benefit from an upgrade for added comfort, this didn’t detract significantly from the overall experience. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Howick.
