Cruising the Comrades, dipping the 'Duzi, Midmar'ing the Mile, Meandering the Midlands, Mandela'ing the Marathon, Royal'ing the Show, Biking the Mountain, or just passing through? Start, or end, (or both) your 'Maritzburg mission, in the quiet Quince Cottage, a renovated stable built in 1897, bordering the KZN National Botanical Garden. Humble, 'shabby-chic', in a beautiful, indigenous, leafy surround.
“This charming and unique cottage is definitely worth a stay! The cottage is cosy and has everything you could possibly want. Sue was kind enough to have made homemade muffins and had the basics in the fridge which meant you didn't even need to go to the shops! The best for me was that the property backs onto the Botanical Gardens, so I ended my day running through the park and being mesmerised by the magnificent trees and plants! This is a true gem of a place, if you are visiting Pietermaritzburg you should definitely stay here :)”

“We had a wonderful stay at Studio 66. Peter was waiting to personally welcome us on arrival even although we arrived much later than anticipated. The place was lovely and clean and had everything we needed and more!! Milk, juice, butter, cheese spread and jams as well as fresh bread and cereals, tea, coffee etc.... They really have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and welcoming. Lovely little welcome goodies on our pillows too, really special xx thank you xx”
