Fully equipped apartment on the farm-stocked kitchen, relaxing deck/BBQ and a California king bed with heated mattress pad and down comforter, fireplace and large soaking tub in the master bath. This is a romantic, memorable place. We provide farm fresh eggs and the usual coffee/tea/hot chocolate/creamer. If it isn't in the apartment just ask us! You will be able to visit alpacas, llamas and watch the free range guinea hens. Can be adjoining to the 2 bedroom apartment adjacent. Pet friendly.

There is plenty of parking for large vehicles, RVs, trailers, rafts, paddle boards, etc. Short 15 minute drive to Historic Salida, CO with easy access to highway. Great hiking close by. Sip your coffee on the deck and maybe the local moose, elk or deer will pay you a visit. Wildlife you won’t miss- mosquitoes. Enjoy your stay in our mosquito-less mountain.

The River Sweet

My river property is located right on the edge of the Arkansas river in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. The property is comfortably accessed by the highway with ample parking for 4 automobiles. At the same time there is 1200’of private river access with a large comfortable access via boating and wading. Our property is really all about the river. In the spring, summer and fall the river can really be moving. This provides an ideal place to relax and enjoy the sounds, birds and pastoral scene.
