Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Hout Bay

Hout bay was wonderful and the house had lovely beds and plenty of kitchen dishes as well as towels for the beach and even some sand toys. The place was cleaned meticulously and was relatively easy to access. They had a booklet of local recommendations that was helpful if a little overstuffed. The first two pages worked great. The washer and drier left something to be desired - the drier door wouldn’t stay shut and was finicky about turning on. The house could have used a few little touches like some laundry detergent, but Abigail was helpful.

It is a second time we stayed at this specific place and will definitely return! It is an overwhelmingly positive experience in many-many ways.

We had such a lovely stay. The neighborhood was so peaceful and the views and gardens are spectacular! The house is amazing! Country living but with a modern look to it. The folding doors were a perfect match for the weather that we felt like inside and outside were one! Fully kitted with everything a home from home needs. WiFi was great and fast too - never had complaints from the kids 😊 This really is a favourite for me and I’ll happily return anytime!

If you’re reading this review, it means you’re considering this rental. If this beach-front property is available, don’t waste any more time and simply rent it! My wife and I have rented AirBnB properties around the world and this rental was spectacular. One of the best places, if not the best place, we’ve ever rented. Mary-Louise is a very responsive host, her place is spotless clean, large with 2 bedrooms and has a multi-million dollar view. Only steps away from the ocean, falling asleep to the ocean was so relaxing and the only thing we wish was to have been able to stay longer than just 3 nights. My work colleagues was raised in Cape Town and recommended Camps Bay over the V&A area and we were so happy we listened to him and stayed on Glen Beach. Thanks so much Mary-Louise for an amazing stay!!!!! Should we ever return to Cape Town, we will definitely be a repeat guest.

Amazing house in a very quiet area of Noordhoek. Everything is as described and even better. Lots of attention to details like qualitative beds, linen, toiletries and a super equipped kitchen. I can only recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with the most amazing sunset views. Thank you! Anthony

Our family of 6 stayed at Sally’s home for a family reunion- we had a fabulous time! The home is so clean and spacious. The kitchen was wonderful and Brenda is so kind and helpful. The views of the ocean and mountain are stunning! We hope to stay here again in the future!

My family and I had an amazing stay at Christa’s.. the location and views were incredible - we ended up staying in and sitting at the balcony to enjoy undisturbed views of the sea and sunset almost everyday..the house was very cozy and made really well.. we would definitely stay here again whenever we’re in cape town next

I had a fantastic three-day stay at Soughted! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how clean and well-kept everything was. The space was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as pictured - if not better in person. It’s clear that the host takes great pride in maintaining a welcoming and tidy environment. The location was also a huge plus—situated in a safe, and convenient area with easy access to shops, restaurants, and everything I needed during my stay. I felt completely at ease and was able to relax and enjoy my trip without any issues. The host was friendly, professional, and responsive, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I would absolutely recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a reliable and pleasant place to stay. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area!

Our stay at Philipp’s place was fantastic. From the moment we booked, we could tell Philipp was an exceptional host. His communication and care were outstanding. When we arrived, he welcomed us personally, helped with our bags, and gave us a mini tour along with much-appreciated coffee recommendations. One detail I especially loved was the beautiful handbook he’s put together with thoughtful restaurant recommendations and personal notes. It was such a lovely touch and really shows how much care he puts into creating a wonderful experience for his guests. Once we settled in, I have to say: impressed is an understatement. I can be quite particular, and this was truly an excellent stay. The apartment is tastefully decorated, with high-quality appliances and thoughtful complimentary touches throughout. Bruce's AirBnb was perfect! Super clean and close to many shops and restaurants. We received lots of recommendations from Bruce which were very helpful. It was super cozy and we LOVED the balcony where you can enjoy the views with your coffee or tea. I would recommend this AirBnb to anybody visiting Cape Town!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ruth’s apartment. Charmingly decorated and beautifully sunny which made us feel right at home. A lovely little deck for early morning coffees and late afternoon drinks. Enjoyed waking up in the mornings to the mountain views from the kitchen and lounge areas and even enjoyed hearing the scholars being dropped off for school ( a school close by). Apartment was equipped with all we required. After a day out and about we loved returning to our little home for the week! Off street parking is provided as stated in listing - just to point out that it is a bit steep, but manageable. Thank you Ruth - we hope to be back! Best wishes, Antoinette and Dana
