Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Hout Bay

Hout bay was wonderful and the house had lovely beds and plenty of kitchen dishes as well as towels for the beach and even some sand toys. The place was cleaned meticulously and was relatively easy to access. They had a booklet of local recommendations that was helpful if a little overstuffed. The first two pages worked great. The washer and drier left something to be desired - the drier door wouldn’t stay shut and was finicky about turning on. The house could have used a few little touches like some laundry detergent, but Abigail was helpful.

The pictures do not lie, The Brickhouse is amazing! Nestled on a hill with fantastic views of Hout Bay. We had a beautiful 10 days there and I cannot wait to go back. Our host Mark was so friendly and accommodating . Thank you again Mark!!

Estee was a wonderful host. She met us at check in and showed us around the house. She gave us good suggestions on places to eat and how to get around the area. She was always responsive when we contacted her. The cottage is beautiful and the garden and surroundings are as well. Would have been happy to spend more time there if we could have.

It is a second time we stayed at this specific place and will definitely return! It is an overwhelmingly positive experience in many-many ways.

If you’re reading this review, it means you’re considering this rental. If this beach-front property is available, don’t waste any more time and simply rent it! My wife and I have rented AirBnB properties around the world and this rental was spectacular. One of the best places, if not the best place, we’ve ever rented. Mary-Louise is a very responsive host, her place is spotless clean, large with 2 bedrooms and has a multi-million dollar view. Only steps away from the ocean, falling asleep to the ocean was so relaxing and the only thing we wish was to have been able to stay longer than just 3 nights. My work colleagues was raised in Cape Town and recommended Camps Bay over the V&A area and we were so happy we listened to him and stayed on Glen Beach. Thanks so much Mary-Louise for an amazing stay!!!!! Should we ever return to Cape Town, we will definitely be a repeat guest.

We had a fantastic stay at Oliver's place. The house is very spacious, very well equipped and extremely pleasant inside and outside. The location is great, the view is awesome, it gives a feeling of remoteness though very well connected to everything. Perfect to work, to relax or to go hiking around. Oliver was always reachable and helpful. We loved the place and will definitely come back.

Fabulous place, location, and hosts. I highly recommend both. Kalk Bay is all charm. The apartment, top floor, has a wonderful view of the ocean and hills. Stunning. Easy secure walking into town. Lynne and Luiz are the best. The apartment is perfect in everyway: the bathtub overlooks the hills and with the sound of the ocean is all peace and comfort.

Great stay, only thing to watch out for is that a large vehicle/4x4 might not fit in the garage as I had a small car and it was a squeeze. Also Google maps has it marked across the street from where the house actually is.

Our stay at Philipp’s place was fantastic. From the moment we booked, we could tell Philipp was an exceptional host. His communication and care were outstanding. When we arrived, he welcomed us personally, helped with our bags, and gave us a mini tour along with much-appreciated coffee recommendations. One detail I especially loved was the beautiful handbook he’s put together with thoughtful restaurant recommendations and personal notes. It was such a lovely touch and really shows how much care he puts into creating a wonderful experience for his guests. Once we settled in, I have to say: impressed is an understatement. I can be quite particular, and this was truly an excellent stay. The apartment is tastefully decorated, with high-quality appliances and thoughtful complimentary touches throughout. I can’t say enough great things about Laurene’s place! Phenomenal location with amazing coffee shops and eateries around. Felt very safe there as well. Laurene was so fast and responsive and had tons of great location suggestions of things to do. The jacuzzi was a great touch for weary bones after walking all day! I highly recommend this place!!

5-star stay. Nothing could prepare me for the spectacular views of Table Mountain reserved just for us on the rooftop. Very central in a great location. Brandon went above and beyond to ensure that we had all that we needed and we were able to leave our luggage before flying out. I wish we could have booked more days to stay here!

Bruce's AirBnb was perfect! Super clean and close to many shops and restaurants. We received lots of recommendations from Bruce which were very helpful. It was super cozy and we LOVED the balcony where you can enjoy the views with your coffee or tea. I would recommend this AirBnb to anybody visiting Cape Town!
