Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Houston County

We escaped to The Brickhouse for a ladies birthday celebration trip. It was perfect! We hung out in the hottub for almost four straight hours, minus getting out for cocktail refills and bathroom breaks! ;) Aimee has literally thought of everything to make this an awesome experience. From the waterproof speaker to the Keurig coffee cups to the drawer with spare phone chargers, she literally has thought of everything. The beds were comfy and everything was very clean. This group of ladies plans on returning again in the future and recommending it for others. Don't sleep on this location for a quaint little getaway. You won't be dissapointed!

Lydia was a dream hostess! The property was beautiful and peaceful, the house was so clean, and our kids loved looking at the cows. Lydia literally thought of everything and had the house so well stocked with anything and everything we could have needed. Such a kid-friendly place too, which we really appreciated for our 5 kids. Can’t wait to come back and stay again!

I loved the house very clean an organized. I love the fact that its in the country an you dont have to worry about your things outside etc. Great place will rent again

We had an amazing time. The large dining room table was perfect for our group of 11 (6 adults, 5 kiddos). Great space for crafts and eating meals. Kitchen was very well stocked with plates, utensils, glassware, spices etc.. Lots of extra towels, pillows and blankets. The views from the deck and windows are stunning as you overlook the river. The game room and hot tub are a special bonus. Beds were very comfortable and 5 bedrooms are ideal for a large group. Love-love-love this place!!! Jen was easy to communicate with and very timely with responses. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

This was the perfect place for our family of 5 adults to stay! Everything was available in the kitchen to make us feel right at home and to make and enjoy homemade meals! The inside was roomy and beautifully furnished. The beds were very comfortable. Woke every morning feeling refreshed! The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Perfect for our morning walks. And Arlene was super responsive to the questions we had!! We would definitely stay there again on future visits to the area.

We loved staying at Larry's place. It was pretty simple but had everything we needed. We enjoyed having the huge tub to relax in after a long day of biking. I would not hesitate to come back again.

Thank you Corinna and Mike for an awesome stay at Red Pines! Because I had to stay in Onalaska for 1 month, I had the opportunity to stay in their lodging twice. Both stays were amazing! Not only were the units so clean and well managed, but the owners are extremely friendly and quick to communicate. During my stay, they even changed to electronic door locks which make it even more convenient for guests to enter and exit the home. Not to mention, Red Pines Restaurant was a great alternative to at home meals! They also have a new cafe right below the lodging so that is open right before work! There is plenty of parking and the lake is absolutely beautiful at sunset. Everything about my stay was amazing! Thank you!

This space was perfect for our big group. Plenty of seating and sleeping arrangements for everyone with tons of extra towels, pillows, and bedding. The location is a quiet and private spot along the river with beautiful views. We liked that it was within walking distance from downtown Winona and loved hanging out around a fire at the end of the day. Julie went above and beyond as a host, was easy to communicate with, and flexible with our checkout time so we could spend more time enjoying each other’s company in her great space!

Very clean and comfortable place. The host was responsive and hospitable. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and everything was clean and tidy. Great place to stay in Decorah!

Norma Jean & Daryl are welcoming, kind hosts with an absolutely beautiful property! They were attentive to our safety as there was winter weather and helpful at every turn. My friend & I were celebrating a milestone birthday and had a perfect stay at their place.

we started a long weekend away at The Flats, and it was perfect! Trish even reached due to the winter storm they were receiving to let us know they'd have the driveway plowed as soon as the snow stopped! Highly recommended Host!

Loved it!!!! This place was amazing for my family of three and our dogs. It was so peaceful and Paul is an excellent host. He gave us fresh farm eggs and fresh milk. We will definitely stay there again!!

We had a very nice stay. The beautiful cabin is in a lovely setting . We really enjoyed exploring and the surrounding areas and hiking in different spots. The scenery is amazing with so many beautiful farms . Some of our favorite things to do now in retirement. (hiking and exploring!) Great Mexican restaurant right in Viroqua for those who enjoy eating out . We would definitely come back!

Was a fantastic place to stay. Clean, everything we needed was available. No TV was great, very good WIFI connection. The hiking trails were fun, just remember when you go down you must come back up. We went antique/treasure shopping in the local cities. We found a few treasures to bring home. The view was amazing, next time we will bring binoculars. Will be back again this fall.

We booked the cabin as opposed to a motel room for a nearby college graduation. It was the perfect location to rest and relax in between events. The front porch was a favorite spot for us. We wish we were staying longer! Highly recommend this cabin which appears rustic but has everything you need and more!

This is a comfortable place in the middle of a great trout fishing area. This makes it very convenient for us. It's close enough to stores and restaurants, yet has a country feel. We love that they accommodate and cater to our dog. We return every year and can't wait until our next stay.

The cabin was spotless and decorated beautifully. The location was so peaceful and within a short drive to Lacrosse. We especially loved the hot tub and visits from the dogs (we called them over). Derek was very responsive and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this location.
