Hood River OR Riverfront Timber Frame Studio Apt

SharonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Karey’s place was exactly what we were looking for. My husband and I wanted a couple days of downtime and this place was perfect. I absolutely loved sitting out on the deck and listening to the river flow by. The room itself was immaculate, roomy and very comfortable. We would definitely love to come back here again.

Little Avalon

NancyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Flawless stay at Little Avalon. Highly recommended! I found everything I expected and needed, so I was really impressed with how well Denise and David have thought through what visitors to the area might need in various seasons (even a lovely picnic basket, though not for me this time as we had several snowy and rainy days, alas). David was really generous and proactive in clearing the snow off my entry, walkway and car each morning and leaving a snowblower for me if needed other times. Have to mention the wonderful shower, quality coffee maker and a good hot water pot for tea (one of my standards for 5 stars)!

Vintage 1961 Airstream close to town

JeffRating, 5 stars6 months ago
This place was much better than what I perceived from the listing. It was in a great location only several minutes from Hood River. Jeff and Lisa were friendly and responsive hosts but granted me my space. They provided extra bedding upon request and even a new microwave so I could cook my lazy style frozen dinners. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and recharge. Grocery stores and coffee shops are really close, but you get the feeling you’re living in a rural area. The outdoor shower was hot and a great experience to use. If you enjoy friendly chickens and squirrels running past you as you have your morning coffee under a beautiful old tree, then this is the place for you! JP

Gorge Getaway

JenniferRating, 5 stars5 months ago
This was such a perfect place for me to take a working retreat! Blazing fast internet and perfect quiet for my work hours plus beautiful places nearby to walk or hike each day. The property is full of wildlife -- wild turkeys, deer, quail, osprey... The property has a ton of storage in the kitchen and bedroom and the place had everything I needed to live comfortably for a month.
