The house is very cozy and well equipped, e.g. barbecue, coal, kitchen utensils, linens, towels were available. The park in which it stands has grown in the meantime, there are many tiny houses in the neighborhood that are not yet visible in some photos. But it was still quiet and idyllic. The nearest supermarket can be reached in 5 minutes and for swimming with kids and dog we drove to Callantsog or Julianadorp to the beach (about 30 minutes drive). In the neighboring village there is a mudflat hike, which we can highly recommend :) We had a great and relaxing holiday.

What a beautiful, clean and big house! We had wonderful days in the middle of the beautiful center of Medemblik! Highly recommend!

Wonderful location for a weekend away. Communication with Sandra was very pleasant. The house has all the comforts. The men have fished in the area and the women walked well with kids.

We spent a wonderful time in this nice house among the birds singing that accompanied us every morning with coffee. The house is clean, everything you need is there. We felt very taken care of by the hosts who cared about us and were in constant contact with us. Very comfortable beds, we were able to explore the area well rested. I enjoyed to stay in Ton‘s house. It is in a great location for my purposes, as friends live only a few minutes away. It is a great house, very well equipped, clean and cozy. Even if it was cold, we enjoyed the garden at the water. The garden is fenced, so even my small dog could not escape. I will try to book again, when coming back into the region. Thank you, Ton

This place is wonderful! Beautiful surroundings, lots of great options for things to do and so close to the beach! The place is well set up, looks just like the pictures and Anika is an excellent host. Highly recommend.

A really nice, well-kept and spacious house with a large property which is completely surrounded by a hedge and fence in it, so you are undisturbed and the dog can run freely. In addition, there is a large, lockable shed on the property in which bicycles can be stored, among other things. We felt very comfortable and were able to recover super!

The location between the North Sea and Ijsselmeer influenced our decision and that was also good. The Burghorn Recreation Park is a grown place and has an ambience. The chalet is tastefully and practically furnished and there are additional equipment for different projects (actually someone lives there and has their own needs). It was just nice and uncomplicated. When an unforeseen temperature drop came, there was no problem. The necessary equipment was on site. Our dog felt comfortable. Communication was proactive or better forward-looking. Thank you!

Barry is a very friendly, easily accessible host who cares. Communication was top notch. The house is as described in the photos and text. Perhaps it should be mentioned that the stairs to the bedrooms upstairs are very steep and narrow. For us and our (big) children, this was not a problem, but with young children this could be an issue. We were very pleased with the mosquito nets and the blinds to darken in the bedrooms. The beds are comfortable. It's very quiet on the lake, even when many cottages are inhabited - a relaxed, beautiful atmosphere. The use of the TV was only a mystery to us, but after a demand from Barry everything worked well. The SUPs and boats are a highlight - our kids loved it. Water lilies and the daily visit of ducks and chickens are included. Shopping is nearby, and Barry gives good tips for things to do and getaways. Great vacation overall.

The location on the lake is very nice. The property is a little dark at the jetty, but from noon the sun is there. The kitchen is big. The beds were comfortable.

We had a wonderful week in this small but cozy cottage. The apartment is well furnished and has everything you need, in a residential context of peace and tranquility. The small fenced courtyard is very pleasant, equipped with a table and chairs, which guarantees excellent privacy. I practice self check-in that does not bind for arrival time. The village of Nieuwe Niedorp has all services and is in a strategic position to visit the entire province of North Holland (including Amsterdam). Excellent Karolien who has always been helpful and quick to provide all the information required during our stay.

This location offers exceptional privacy and tranquility. The hospitality is outstanding (10/10), and the premises are impeccably clean. We particularly appreciated the fresh, fragrant towels and the bathtub. The pool also appeared inviting, although the wind and cold prevented us from using it. We highly recommend this establishment.

We were now in this great house for 7 days and felt very comfortable. Communication with the landlady was excellent. The broken coffee pod machine was replaced within half an hour. This is also a great service. The house was clean and quiet with a parking spot in front of the door, in a great park. The property is completely fenced with a 1m high fence. Our 2 dogs were able to romp and also the passing ones;) The bathroom was age-appropriate and clean. The bed in the bedroom is very comfortable. All around a great holiday. Beautiful place to stay, lots of space. Quiet area and beautiful views from the window. The only thing is that after checking in and before walking, we forgot to turn on the heater everywhere and it was cold, so don't make our mistake and if you have to go somewhere right after checking in, the heating check;) We liked everything very much, thank you for such a wonderful house.

ideal for spending a peaceful weekend with your family near the lake, we easily reached everywhere because we were traveling by car, you can choose this cute place instead of paying a very high accommodation fee in Amsterdam, we were very well received, everything was very nice from the beginning to the day of the checkout, we are planning to come back again

We spent a week with our two dogs in this great cottage and the at least equally beautiful surroundings. We met Tinda in person upon our arrival. She is a very sweet person 😊 There were both "treats" for us and for the dogs. We found the bed very comfortable and it was wonderfully quiet in this place. We made great excursions around the area. My personal highlight and one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had was the "cuddling lamb" on Texel 😍 The beaches are also just a dream and our dogs had a wonderful time there!

We loved a stay here. It was peaceful and quiet. The host was friendly and proactive! For example the heat was turned on and the baby was prepared. Highly recommend!
