The cabin is newly rehabilitated and is a great custom to come back to after active days out. No running water! Drinking water comes in canisters (arranged by the host), water for washing is in the faucet on the veranda. Combustion toilet.

There is a golf course in Sylling (Holstmark - about 14km ) About 70 km to Oslo - 1 hour drive.

Situated at the lake Steinsfjorden/Tyrifjorden, 35 minutes drive from Oslo, only separated from the lake by the main road to Bergen. Thus, there is traffic noice. The area is perfect for hiking, skiing, paragliding +fishing on ice. Perfect for cross country skiing, lots of tracks prepared in the area. Best place for downhill skiing is Norefjell 50 minutes drive, or Oslo Winterpark. The house itself is spacy, with terrasses and a big garden, lots of privacy. Fireplace and plenty of firewood.
