Historic guest house at Gries 5

The late Gothic residential building from 1519 is the oldest, preserved residential building in the Untermhaus district & has been very elaborately restored & renovated in 4 years. The former building ruin has become a small gem. Particular emphasis was placed on the expansion with ecological building materials, such as clay & lime, clay paints. Many old historical components were reinstalled. During the dismantling work, another, hand-painted, approx. 500-year-old plank ceiling was discovered on the 2nd floor.

Around the lake, you can experience untouched nature. Greiz and Elsterberg, with all their shopping options, are a 10-minute drive away. The distance to Plauen and Reichenbach is 20 minutes by car.

Forget your worries in this spacious, cosily furnished penthouse with views of the forest and meadows. In addition to the fully equipped kitchen, there is a bathroom with a bathtub, a washing machine and a chest freezer, a large living room with a piano, a TV with Blu-ray and a reading corner. There is also a study (PC) with a small yoga area and a laundry room. In total, 6 people can find a cosy place to sleep. It is absolutely quiet and you can relax well.

The studio is a very special place: a large apartment with a bed, 2 additional separate bedrooms, balcony, giant sofa and above all a long table where everyone can find a seat. The Shack in the Forest

Welcome to our retreat in the woods. Our small forest cabin is located on a fenced woodland property and awaits nature-loving guests. We use filtered rainwater and electricity from a small solar panel system, following the motto of returning to the source for pure nature and tranquility. Sometimes less is more. Dogs get their money's worth. The approximately 1000m² forest is fenced in with a 160cm high fence and the dogs can run freely
