Family-friendly holiday rentals in Hjo

The property is perfect for a vacation in a larger group. We were a total of 15 people and were able to spend a wonderfully snowy New Year's Eve there. Johan and Linnéa always responded quickly to questions both during and before arrival and were thus always able to help us quickly. All in all, a great place to stay and very great hosts.

Emmas place is perfect if you want to have a cozy time in nature. She is an amazing host and our highlight was the little, private wooden sauna on the lake side. I‘d always go back there. :)

Our visit as a resident in the Pavilion. We were adults and children who stayed there to-sun. Large areas both inside and outside, clean and tidy, own large patio with large lawn for play. Sauna and wood fired sauna for about 4 people. Good parking next door, walking distance to fishing area and also to the bath with small beach, jetty and diving tower. Good communication with Johan before and upon arrival as well as was quickly available if we were missing anything during the stay. Cozy environment. We are 20 very happy guests who will surely come back. Top marks from us

Everything was great! Good place to stay for a small retreat.

We stayed at Anna's house for a week with our two children (4 and 6 years old). Directions were very accurate, and we found the house right away. The property is very cosy and lovingly furnished. The children each had their own room, which provided a lot of joy and privacy. Outside there are plenty of seating options, perfect for relaxing alfresco evenings. The large garden offered our children plenty of space to play and romp. In the area, through the nearby lake, there are many swimming places and playgrounds that we visited daily. We especially enjoyed the quiet location and the beautiful nature. We highly recommend Anna's house to any family vacationer!

Great place! Hjo, what a gem. Nice house with good surfaces and we also got to borrow a sauna with associated tub for cold baths. Can recommend "10:an" which was a lovely pub/restaurant with live music, jazz, etc., as well as the biergarten down by the water for classic German inspired experience. Jonas a great and communicative host! Nicely prepared with bed linen and towels.

A small house on the edge of the forest, the ideal place for both humans and dogs. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful place, cute cottage. Everything at your fingertips. Beautiful place for hiking, boating and fishing. Karlsborg has a nice harbor, also for small children with a nice skate track with scooters that you can borrow from the tourist info.

We spent 10 lovely days here, the house is so beautiful and cozy and the garden was amazing, so big and incredibly peaceful. This is a really private spot, there's no one around for hundreds of meters! Our dog loved to roam free on the premises and had an amazing time. We had fantastic hikes in the area and visited the lovely Vadstena. It totally exceeded all our expectations. Monica, the host, was super quick, friendly and helpful with all our queries. Would recommend 10/10!

Lunnekullen is a very well-kept and comfortably furnished Swedish house. You can tell that the host goes to great lengths to make the holidaymaker as comfortable as possible. In the house itself, everything is really lovingly furnished and available, so that you can also feel comfortable on rainy days and enjoy the warmth of the fireplace. The highlight is the large terrace with a fantastic view of the lake and the setting sun. The host is a very friendly and helpful man who is happy to provide information and answer questions. In the vicinity, you will find plenty of excursion destinations and shopping facilities.

We had a wonderful time at David’s cottage. Very comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen and amazing gardens with a private section for us. The pool table and a great little sauna inside the cottage made our stay very special. David had lots of cool recommendations for the area including restaurants and ice cream shops! He was very friendly and helpful with every question we had. We will definitely come back in the future.

Smooth check-in and check-out, the apartment was super cozy and charming. Good parking lot parking lot by the house. The kitchen equipment we needed was there, great with real stove/oven and dishwasher. Hope to come back another time… We were really happy with everything.

Very charming accommodation with its soothing surroundings. Nice reception from Åsa and nice with the eggs that were in the fridge when we arrived. Easy to get to Motala for cycling races. We will definitely be back.

Very nice house with fantastic location by a lake! The house is small but absolutely perfect for 2 people. We lacked nothing and the cabin was clean and tidy. Ulrika and Magnus are nice and respond quickly to questions. Happy to come back!
