The Writer’s Retreat in the Idyllic Park Circus

Stand at the bay window and gaze out at stunning views across to the hills. The studio has double-height ceilings with a stylish mezzanine bedroom level. It boasts original features, including ornate cornicing and a decorative fireplace. The space is around 45m squared with double height ceilings. The cornicing is ornate and original, you could stare at it for hours! The enormous bay window gives stunning views out to the hills, and at night time the city below lights up like a Christmas tree. Large wooden shutters on either side of the window fold out to give you the privacy you need in the evenings. The mezzanine bed is extremely comfortable and there is ample storage space for clothing and suitcases in the large wardrobe as you enter on the right. In the bottom drawer inside the wardrobe you will find an iron, hairdryer and hair straighteners. We provide shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom which features a gorgeous roll top bath, shower and underfloor heating. If you want to get cosy in the evening you can light the log burner. The kitchen has a washing machine which you are welcome to use and you should find plenty of tea, coffee, cereal and biscuits there too. You can access the entire property As I live in London my space is managed by my neighbour and co-host Pip! The studio is on Woodlands Terrace, arguably the most stunning street in Glasgow. Situated directly on Kelvingrove Park, the river Kelvin at the foot of the park is ideal for running and walking. The Botanic Gardens are a short walk along the riverside, and the Kelvingrove Museum, Huntarian Museums, the Centre for Contemporary Art and the Museum of transport are at a stones throw. The flat is less than a 10 minute walk from the amazing restaurants and bars of Argyle street and Great Western Road. You will never be bored here! The great thing about the property is that everything you could want from the city is really on your doorstep, but you are also very close to the underground at Kelvinbridge, and the overland train taking you out of the city at Charing Cross. Parking is residents only / Pay Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm but free on evenings and weekends. Alternative parking can be found on streets nearby during the week. If you fancy getting out of the city the Loch Lomond National Park is a 30 minute drive away and stunning Glen Coe around 2 hours. Please note, check in and check out is not available on the 25th of December and the 1st of January.

Perfect little West End Hideout

This self contained West End Hideout is part of a converted lower level Family Townhouse located in the heart of Glasgow's famous West End with it's own secure access and is only a stone's throw away from Botanic Gardens.THE LOCAL AREA has a good mix of small independent shops and quality high street names. It is a foodies' haven with two specialist cheese shops, butchers,whole-food shops, numerous delicatessens and stores such as Waitrose and Marks & Spencer are all within a very short walking distance. There are also wonderfully atmospheric second hand book shops, vintage and retro clothing stores, gift shops, jewellers and of course plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and bars.There are a wide range of places to eat from great value budget to widely acclaimed, well established restaurants. Five of Trip Advisor’s top ten restaurants in Glasgow are all within a 15 minute walk. Nearby Ashton Lane is great for visiting during the day and evening for shopping, coffee, eating, drinking and catching a film at the local Grosvenor Cinema. Music and plays can also be found at Oran Mor and Cottiers theatre with various pubs hosting more informal music sessions.

Welcome to this stylish little jewel of tranquility, centrally located flat, in the west end of Glasgow. Our attic flat has a maximum capacity for 2 adults, but is also perfect for a small family e.g 2 adults & an infant. The blonde sandstone, category A listed townhouse is around 150 years old. There are about 72 steps up to the flat door (which includes a quirky 21 step spiral stair at the end) and there isn’t a lift. The 180 year old Botanic Gardens are about 100yds away.

Charming Victorian Period flat, with designer features but all the modern comforts of a home from home.Sleeps up to seven, with 3 double beds in 3 rooms, plus a sofabed in sitting room. Two bathrooms, one off the hall, plus ensuite shower room in master bedroom. No lift (as with all Victorian flats in Glasgow), but only one flight up, and stairs are wide, shallow with a handrail. There is a smart TV in the living room. wifi is fastest available.Hairdryer in every bedroom.
