House holiday rentals in Hillerød Municipality

We recently had the most wonderful summer break staying at this lovely, peaceful cottage in Melby. From the moment we walked in the front door, we felt ourselves relax. The cottage is beautifully decorated, kitchen is super well equipped and the beds are very comfortable - easily sleeping our 2 families. Outside, we loved using the pool, snoozing in the hammock and eating on the expansive deck in front of the outdoor fireplace. The cottage is a 10-15min walk to a pretty local beach and a short drive (or bike ride) to the pretty Liseleje Beach. Lots of fantastic restaurants in the area and plenty to see and do. Christian and Pernille were brilliant hosts - easy to communicate with, always responsive and gave us great tips on what to see and do in the area. Thanks for a truly fabulous stay!

It's a very cozy house. We enjoyed our stay. The sauna can fit 2/3 people comfortably, but more than that is too tight. The location is great, it's at the same time private and also close to grocery stores, the beach, and coffee shops.

We stayed here with our three children. It has been recently refurbished with beautiful gardens and lots for the children to do. The pool and outside shower were highlights. The area is very tranquil and great for walks, but also easily commutable to Copenhagen. Thor and Line were very communicative and even left us flowers and a bottle of wine. We would love to stay here again, it is a very special place and definitely one of our favourite holidays. Thank you!

We had a great stay at this summerhouse! The pool and all the other amenities – including sauna, outdoor areas and kitchen – were really high quality and everything worked impeccably. The atmosphere and setting were perfect for a cozy and relaxed getaway with friends. The only small minus was that you had to bring gas to the grill yourself, which came as a surprise to all of us. It would be nice if it was mentioned more clearly in the description. All in all, a wonderful experience – we would love to come again!

We had a delightful stay. Kim is a very responsive and helpful host, and the house was clean and equipped with everything you might need for your stay. We were impressed by the attention to detail. It’s a quiet neighbourhood with beautiful surroundings. Would recommend having a car, but we managed it all on public transport and the handy bikes at the house. The only confusing bit was the light switches that took some finding! If you’re looking for a comfy space an hour outside of Copenhagen, this is a great place.

I very much enjoyed my time at the house! The hosts are very friendly, respond quickly and willing to help with any questions you might have. The house itself has everything you need, is clean and nicely decorated. Overall i highly recommend this place.

We are looking back on a wonderful Denmark vacation. Christiane is a great host who welcomed us in person and showed and explained everything on a tour. We felt right at home and were able to enjoy our break from everyday life in the cozy cottage and on the magnificent sun terrace in full and swim a few laps in the really large pool for refreshment. Everything was clean and furnished and decorated in a vintage style with a lot of style and attention to detail. Beds are very comfortable, we slept heavenly. There is nothing missing in the kitchen and you can take care of yourself very well. If you are looking for peace and quiet, proximity to nature and privacy, this is the place to be. The sea is just around the corner and there are really many great excursions and attractions in the vicinity. It will not be boring, there is always something to discover and we will be happy to come back...

Lillans house is very cozy and had everything we needed for our stay for 3 adults. Very nice private outdoor areas on both sides of the house, so it was easy to find a spot in the sun. Good layout of the house and it was actually bigger than what we expected based on the pictures. And the bonus was a very good espresso machine. Lillan was very accomodating to our requests and quick to answer back.

Charlotte has a lovely home in a quiet & convenient location with shops, restaurants, cafes, & train station all within 500m. We felt so at home we really didn't want to leave. We had regular BBQ's on the back patio with beautiful sunsets to watch. The home is large and well designed - we are 5 adults and didn't feel cramped. We also felt very safe & relaxed for our whole stay.

We really enjoyed our time at Niels’s place - stayed two nights and visited the Viking Ship Museum and Kronborg Slot . This is a family home that you walk right into. The house was clean and tidy with bed linen and towels provided and all spotlessly clean. The garden was lovely to sit in and have breakfast, coffee or a bbq (there is a really good butcher 5 minutes walk away). They have huge selection of family games - we played Uno and Guess Who! We felt very welcome here and would definitely return.

Really nice place with lots of tranquility and great nature. Beautifully renovated house with lots of space . 3 lovely bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Super friendly host who responded within 10 minutes. Everything was ready for us when we arrived and everything was clean and delicious. We also brought our dog who could run around freely. Will recommend Christina as a host at any time and are sure we will come back the next time we are going to the Island.

It was a bit of a hassle with parking, tight, but maybe also because the neighbor had guests. But it went well anyway.

Large and airy house with giant patio and lawn. There was a lot of room for our little guy to run, and the toys were very much appreciated 🙂 The communication with Sandra was quick and nice, we had a few questions during the trip and got a response right away. Would love to stay there again!

It's a lovely place with a great host who made sure everything was fine. Easy to find and easy to check in. Will definitely use this place another time.

We've had some lovely days at Line's house. A Super nice well equipped house with both bed linen and towels + ++ Lots of activities for kids and lovely garden :) All in all a really nice place where you really felt at home 😀

Stayed here one week and was really great! Supermarket is around the corner. There is a good centrum with shops and a castle. Its 30 min drive to Copenhagen centrum.

Great stay

Our stay in Denmark was just beautiful! From December 30, 2024 to January 4, 2025, we stayed with two families in a spacious Airbnb. In total we were four adults, one toddler and two babies. The accommodation offered plenty of space and was friendly and comfortably furnished. The equipment was ideal: dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and a fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, toaster, kettle and microwave were available. The surroundings were quiet and a net supermarket was within walking distance. A highlight was the lovely cat Joey, who assisted us as a quiet companion. Overall, we were very please and would book and recommend the place again at any time. It's been a great time in Denmark🇩🇰! Thank you so much for having us be there. Best regards from Germany, 🇩🇪

One of my favorite AirBnB's. Comfy, Clean, Quiet. Everything was perfect. Would be my "go-to" house whenever traveling for business in Hillerod!

We had a great holiday in this lovely house, surrounded by a beautiful and exciting garden as well as a clean and cooling pool. The house had all the necessary amenities and a little more. It was really cozy, and my daughter especially enjoyed the separate teenage section. We also really enjoyed the company from Mona the cat, which we will definitely miss. It's nice and quiet, and the house is at the end of a quiet gravel road. The garden is a chapter on its own with large trees, beautiful shrubs, and views of a horse fold. Working from home was no problem as there is a nice workspace with lovely views. We didn't want to go home from there at all and hope to return.

We stayed at Louise's place for 11 nights while visiting family & friends in Denmark. The house is absolutely amazing. Very spacious and bright modern Danish design throughout. The house and yard were very clean & well maintained. There are stores within walking or short drive away. We did not cook much as we were mostly out. The kitchen is well stocked so you could have made a big dinner for a lot of people with no problems if you want to cook. The beds were comfortable & the resort style bathrooms were wonderful! Louise was excellent in communicating with us before our arrival. My favorite castle in Denmark is Frederiksborg Slot & it is a 15 min walk away. Nearby the castle is also Hillerod's walking street with many great cafes & restaurants. I look forward to staying again at Louise's place next time we visit Denmark. We had an amazing stay!
