A cozy sitting area with barbecue is available in the courtyard as well as in the garden. Of course there is a parking spot in front of the house and a lockable parking place for bikes/motorcycles. Due to the central location, all local facilities are within walking distance. Treat your car to a holiday and start your excursions right from the front door.

From the windows to the courtyard, the border mountains to Lower Franconia can be seen, e.g. Dammersfeld, Beilstein and Eierhauck. From here, many well-known excursion destinations can be quickly reached. For example, Wasserkuppe, Kreuzberg, Fulda, Bad Neustadt or Würzburg, as well as hiking and bike trails. Horseback riding is possible in the neighboring village.

In the middle of the Rhön Biosphere Reserve, you will find the newly renovated vacation home, also known as “Hühnerhuis” in family circles. Here you can experience unique sunrises. If you want to enjoy absolute peace, this is the place to be! Hiking trails, bike trails, and various attractions are very close. Among other things, alpaca hikes are possible directly in the village. Just ask us about excursion destinations and we will be happy to help you. Pets are not allowed.
