We really enjoyed our stay - we weren’t expecting the little extras including a fully stocked kitchen with spices and even tennis rackets for the nearby courts! We also greatly enjoyed the sleds at the dunes. Plenty of room for our family of four and doggy friend.

Loved our stay. Cottage was truly cozy but roomy. It is listed as one bedroom but it has a small room next to the kitchen with a pullout bed (very convenient). Kitchen was definitely the center of the home with a huge fridge and lots of stools to sit around the table. The one shower in the bathroom is a bit short; I’m 5’5” and it was a bit tight. We encountered a couple of tiny spiders, but we were in middle of the mountain, so it’s not too big of a deal. This place has an amazing view of the stars at night and has a couple of beautiful walking trails very close. It’s also close to the town of Cloudcraft. We would definitely stay here again!

The gentle scent of blooming lavender filled the air, creating a peaceful atmosphere that was both refreshing and calming. The covered wagon was thoughtfully designed, offering a cozy retreat after a day of exploration. We spent our mornings sipping coffee on the porch, watching the sun rise over the fields, and our evenings gathered around the fire pit, sharing stories and enjoying the quiet of the countryside. Check-in and check-out were seamless, thanks to the clear instructions provided. Communication with the host was prompt and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Conveniently located near the mesmerizing White Sands National Park, we were able to easily explore the world’s largest gypsum dune and retreat back to our little paradise!

From the moment I arrived, the cabin felt like a tranquil retreat. A soothing scent greeted me, and the thoughtful arrangement of every detail created a truly peaceful sanctuary. It’s the kind of place where you just exhale. Anna was exceptional. Despite my spontaneous booking, she made everything seamless and welcoming. The selection of tea, coffee, and delightful Japanese treats was a lovely touch. She even took the time to recommend local hiking and dining spots, and snapped photos of the view of the sky in advance when considering bringing my telescope. The patio provided a fantastic vantage point for watching birds and wildlife. Each morning, I’d sit outside with my coffee and simply breathe in the calm. Nestled among beautiful trees and roaming elk & horses, the location offers a serene escape without feeling remote. It’s the perfect reminder that a peaceful getaway can be simple and rejuvenating.
