We had a lovely stay at Oliver farm! It was exactly as the photos, very clean, with plenty of toys and games for the kids, which we found a nice touch. It was very easy to find, located in a beautiful, quiet no through lane. Close to foot paths, a tea room. It is also close Askam bar park and ride for trips to York. I would highly recommend Oliver farm and I hope to be back soon, Thank you for a lovely stay.

A beautiful cottage that felt like home from home. Had all the amenities, even for the kids with Highchair, cot, cutlery etc. Beautiful gardens, can tell its all well maintained. We took a short walk to the local pub and park too which were spot on. Would definitely stay here again. thank you!

Sivesh warmly welcomed us on our arrival and introduced us to the lovely house. The house was big, warm and full of characters. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was really good. Pathma was very responsive when we had a question about Wi-Fi. They also provided a highchair and a cot for my baby, which was very accommodating. The baby watched loads of planes taking off from the kitchen window, which was new and exciting for him and definitely a plus point for us!

Donna was very quick to reply and provide instructions. As it was a last minute booking this was very helpful. Her place was spotlessly clean and met all our needs for the night we stayed. We were greeted at the gate and shown round to the apartments which made checking in very simple.

Immaculately clean, comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Tom, our host, was fantastic throughout making communication easy. The Annex is beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything you might need including breakfast - the king-size bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also extremely well equipped with lovely smelling toiletries, even toothpaste, with thick luxurious towels and a large shower. Set in a great, quiet location the annex is within a short stroll to the local pub which has a friendly atmosphere, great food/drink and a large garden. We would not hesitate in recommending and would certainly use again. Thank you for a lovely weekend stay.

Absolutely fantastic stay in a beautiful part of Altrincham. A home away from home in many ways, couldn’t recommend enough for someone looking for a simple, comfy stay in the North-West.

The place was lovely and cosy for the evening. The best part was actually the garden with the egg chair, the zen garden and the water feature. It was so relaxing I could have sat there all night. Would definitely stay again.

The location was ideal - away from the busy road nearby, making it private and quiet, but close enough that you could walk into town or to nearby restaurants. The space itself was clean, tidy, and had all the utensils and cutlery we needed for our stay. It felt very homely. Joanne was excellent at responding to messages, doing so in a very short time span and with a helpful, friendly attitude. Overall, our week was just what we needed - very relaxing and enjoyable. This was our first voyage into the Air BnB world and what a gem! What have we been missing. Kottie was an exceptional host, from our first contact she was helpful and very friendly. The accommodation was spotless, very comfortable and well appointed, with beautiful gardens that I wish we'd have had more time to fully enjoy. The homemade blueberry scones waiting for us on arrival were delicious, blueberry scones will never taste the same again. The recommendation to the Pendrell Arms (a 2 minute walk away) was ideal, a lovely local village pub, relaxed atmosphere and very friendly staff with great food and service. We were attending a family wedding and wanted somewhere to stay close by. Holly Croft was perfect, just 5 minutes away. Despite being a Saturday, Kottie kindly offered to drive us to the venue. All we have to do now is find a reason/excuse to make a return visit. Cheryl and Jeff Edwards

Communication with Fern was excellent. Instructions for finding the property and parking was top notch. We had a very comfortable stay and would certainly return in the future.

Myself and my partner had a wonderful stay in Lynne’s for a holiday. We used it as a great base for day trips to Shrewsbury, Alton Towers, and other nearby heritage sites. Beautiful setting inside and out, and had everything we needed. The place was spotless and so comfortable, we would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Crystal and Andy’s place, it had everything we could need We got out into the wonderful surrounding countryside each day and enjoyed discovering new places. With lots of other places we would like to explore on future trips to the area. Crystal, Andy, Reuben and Delancey were very friendly and helpful. It was lovely to see and hear the children playing and enjoying the sunny weather And thanks for the wonderful banana bread

Pat and Den are absolutely lovely hosts. They were very welcoming and helpful with directions. The property was perfect for our stay, with everything we needed. I would 100% reccomend to anyone looking for a compact place to stay.

I have stayed with the Glyn & Lynn for a year now (minus July) and it’s been a real home away from home after mine had been flooded. It’s been marvellous and in a way I shall be really sad to be leaving the Croft family. Everything you could possibly want is here. You will certainly have a wonderful welcome and a very comfortable stay.

Me and my mum had a wonderful stay here. The village is beautiful, and well equipped with pubs! We had a delicious dinner at the Farmyard Inn which was a 10/15 minute walk from the house, there is a pub less than 5 minutes walk away however. It is only a 10 minute drive into Bakewell down some very scenic country lanes. The room itself was super cosy, we had everything we needed, including a smart TV so we could binge watch Charmed in the evening. We were welcomed in person, Phil and Diane are both super friendly and helpful, Ben their dog, is absolutely gorgeous and loved a fuss. There was homemade sourdough bread on the side when we checked in, along with freshly picked strawberries from their garden, drinks, butter, the list goes on, we felt very cared for and appreciated it greatly. We didn't use the sauna but it looked brilliant. Overall we would definitely stay here again, it was so peaceful.

Comfortable and convenient stop on our way to Scotland. Very handy for the M6. We didn't meet the owners but everything was ready for us and access straight forward. We had our dog with us but didn't find any nice walks from the door. We walked along the lane but it wasn't pleasant with a number of cars travelling along. There was a nice park a few miles away that we passed on the way to the accommodation.

The room was spacious and lovely and the bathroom looked modern and squeaky clean. Peak District is a fair distance by car, and a cafe, restaurant and pub are right outside the accommodation. A very cosy stay, didn’t want to leave.

Lovely place to spend the weekend. Great that it is dog friendly and so close the canal for dog walks. Cosy and comfortable, lots of information provided and Kate is really responsive with messages. Welcome goodies were also very appreciated.

We stayed for two nights and the annexe at Cliffe Cottage was perfect for a short stay. It is beautifully decorated, has lots of storage, a powerful shower and comfy bed. Andree generously left us sachets of milk, lots of tea and coffee, a couple of bottles of water and some chocolate bars - not everyone does this and it’s very welcome when arriving. The mini fridge is a good size, we used it for beers and cheese! Andree wasn’t there during our stay but sent perfect instructions and kindly kept in contact. Hathersage is a picturesque village and great spot to start many walks, and there’s a lot of choice for food and drink very close by, many are open on Sunday evening too. Definitely recommended and very good value!
