Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, surrounded by pastures located on Mont des Cats with breathtaking views of Flanders, a stone's throw from the abbey. This former rehabilitated hop dryer is a great place for walkers or mountain bikers looking for peace and quiet. You will be located in the heart of Flanders, between Lille and Dunkirk, close to Belgium. The accommodation is open to the outside with a spacious garden (barbecue available). A veranda will store the bikes.

Romantic cozy cabin for two by the water

Let yourself be amazed by the nature, peace and quiet in the unique Meers Cabin, and all this in comfort. Wake up with a pristine wide view of the drowned meadows (Meersen) and fields; changing to the rhythm of the seasons. Enjoy the spectacle of the fluttering singing skylark, the happy chirping of swallows as night falls. Lie down on the jetty, get into the boat to just float on the natural pond. Hike, bike, swim or just do nothing.

Cottage and meadow

It's a very quiet place, close to nature, in the middle of the "Monts des Flandres". Rest, hiking or sightseeing: everyone will find it's own. Near Belgium: Ypres (WW1 commemorations) at 30 min. The house is in the heart of nature: in the middle of a meadow, close to tall trees and a water point. A peaceful, relaxing place. An ideal base for hikes or to more touristic sites. Welcome to our 35 m2 studio. The studio is ideally located and is located opposite the Mons Sarts metro station (not even a 1-minute walk). Lille Flandres and Lille Europe train stations are two stations away. The city center is 10 minutes by metro. The studio is fully private and has private access via secure gate. The ceiling height is 2.10 m. If you come by car, there is free street parking.

Surrounded by greenery, the house blends into the environment with which it is now one. Special care has been taken with the layout so you can get away from it.

A getaway just a stone's throw from Lille

We have renovated this farmhouse and we are happy to provide our studio located on the floor of our house. We hope to offer you a cosy little cocoon. We will be happy to share our family life with you, with our two children Suzanne 5 years old, Gustave 10 years old, our cat Georgette and our chickens.
