Waterfront holiday rentals in Hernando

Quite and peaceful locale close to many natural and outdoor attractions. Perfect price for the area with plenty of amenities included. Host was great and very communicative. Bonus points for allowing my dog to join us on our trip

Tom and Tammy are really super hosts. Always responded quick to my questions. The area is fantastic. Walk to restaurants and the best one is Brian’s Place right next door. You can sit on the deck and enjoy the music on weekends (don’t worry, it’s over by 9), and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Plenty of parking. Lots of shopping close by. Place has everything you need and is well equipped. Plenty of wildlife. Two majestic Eagles have a nest across the canal.

Great little spot! This is the second time I come and stay here because the price and location is hard to beat.. we saw baby dolphin jumping right behind the house at sunset time, manatee, and along the river there were otters and deer and just so much beauty! Staying here is one of the easiest ways to see the Weekiwachee River. It has everything you need: AC beds with clean linens, clean kitchen and bathroom. Be sure to be prepared to share the outside area though! There is another rental above and the yard is a shared space (something I forgot all about.) Everyone we encountered from above was very nice. Also noticed the kayaks were upgraded since my last visit! Wonderful weekend all in all. Will be back.

Worth 1000 stars. Can I just say it’s refreshing to find an Airbnb host in this area? Who isn’t price gouging. Collins properties are super reasonably priced. They’re in a beautiful area, you have access to everything, it’s super private, the area is maintained well, so your pets and family will not be covered in ticks and eaten up by mosquitoes, And it’s priced wonderfully. I can’t say enough good things. Plus this host is very easy to work with and very proactive and responsive. The thing I will mention that apparently puts people off is the well water is kind of brown Ish when you take a shower or a bath, also in the sink, but it’s well water and it’s perfectly fine. I had no problems at all, and neither did my dogs. So please chill out on the well water and enjoy this beautiful gem of an Airbnb and this wonderful house. We are so grateful and I will definitely be returning.

Location, location, location! The property is located in the heart of Crystal River! Located directly in front of Hunter Springs and just a short paddle to three sisters springs and short boat ride to the Gulf! There is nothing that you could forget or need that is not supplied in this rental! Manatee’s galore passed right by the front door! The owners of this property have really outdone themselves in the locally sourced decoration! Every aspect of this property is unique and thoughtfully done! Once you enter the property and see the wall of family memories you instantly know that you are apart of something very special. It’s honestly such an honor to have stayed in such a special place and I thank the owners for sharing this piece of paradise with my family. I look forward to coming back again and making more once in a lifetime memories with my family!

What a wonderful place! We rented this as a quick weekend getaway and quickly fell in love with the house & view. The unit is comfortable and close to everything. We would definitely come back for a longer stay in the future.

Terrific spot right on the river, around the corner from the kayak shop so you can paddle over and catch a shuttle up to the KP hole, paddle back down and end at the dock right by your unit. Fantastic time, the place was clean comfortable and well kept. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a riverfront view and easy paddling access, very nice spot. A little tip turn the air down a few hours before you go to sleep the top floor takes a little bit to cool down. Thanks Matt for our stay in your beautiful spot.

Beautiful home in a peaceful setting. The house has everything you need to feel at home. It was perfectly clean when we arrived. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids to relax and have their own space. The kayaks and bikes are a nice touch. Christine was responsive to any questions or needs. This was the 2nd time we stayed here and we would definitely do it again.

The pool can be heated which makes for comfortable swimming year round. The home was comfortable and had all the necessities to cook and check out is simple and easy. I had a great stay and the hosts are super nice and helpful!

We loved our stay! First time in the area and we hope to visit again! Marni’s place was super clean and very comfortable. The bed was awesome! We slept great. We enjoyed kayaking and visiting all the cool restaurants in Homosassa. It was a great vacay for my husband and myself.

One word, paradise! We absolutely loved staying here. Being able to use the kayaks right off the dock made this a perfect place to really experience the river. We will definitely be back in the future.

This is our second time coming to Brock’s beautiful place in the summer. The kids absolutely love being able to go out in the springs any time of the day. We love to eat at Swampys, going antique shopping, renting a boat, and most of all relaxing at this lovely home. We hope to be back next summer!

My husband and I stayed at Matt's Place and it didn't disappoint. It is exactly what he described in the details. We had our morning coffee on the pier to watch the beautiful sunrise and listen to nature waking up. Enjoyed some jacuzzi time and some BBQ. The Hammocks are a nice touch. Somehow I was under the impression it had a king or queens size bed, but the house is establish with 2 bunkbeds, which was perfectly fine and different. The location is sure "Nature pure" your are close to grocery stores and restaurants but when on the property it feels you are far away from everything. Kitchen was organized and equipped enough. We forgot charcoal but went to the local Publix to grab a bag...it was a very nice experience. Unique with the amenities Matt Offers...It was a warm welcome and easy access. Loved our stay. Erin Ashley was super helpful, communicative and kind. The house was just what I needed, peaceful on the canal just off the main river. I enjoyed taking out one of the kayaks and exploring the river. Even made a long trip upstream to a nearby spring thanks to Erin Ashley’s recommendation. And the porch overlooking the water was a great spot to unwind. I’ll definitely keep this one on the list next time I visit!

The weather may have be on our favor, but the place itself was STUPENDOUS, from the fragrance of star jasmine verdantly scattered on the fence to the inviting pristine river view. It didn’t matter at all that it rained, my husband and I truly enjoyed our two night stay in JoAyne and John’s place. We are planning to come back again soon! Remarkable experience, not Disney World BUT the MAGIC is there at the Blue Run River in Dunnellon. ❤️❤️❤️

We had an incredible stay during scallop season. The location was perfect. Just a short ride to the gulf. The house was clean spacious and had all the amenities we needed for comfortable stay. Can’t wait to come back next scallops season! We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable getaway.

This was the first time I stayed at Geri's place and it was wonderful. Even though I was staying in a condo, the entire complex was very quiet and peaceful. Geri was very responsive and I will definitely consider staying here again when I am back in the area.

Had a great time at the condo. We felt right at home and enjoyed meeting new friends during the unofficial "happy hour". There is no shortage of things to do in the area and this was a great place to stay while visiting our daughter. We will stay here again. The only disappointing thing was that the pool temperature was very cold, but this was not any fault of the hosts themselves, the weather was unusually cold for FL during our stay. We still were able to use the pool during our stay.

We stayed 3 months at Chet and Lizys place and everything was perfect and as expected. The area was peaceful and quiet and with all kinds of nature, our morning walks were always a new adventure whether it was local or one of the many trails nearby. Lots of great restaurants in the area and beautiful scenery at most. Chet and Liz were wonderful hosts and always available for any questions.
